Marathi Film ‘Walvi’ wins Award at Chicago South Asian Film Fest

Zee Studios Film ‘Walvi (वाळवी)’ directed by Paresh Mokashi has won the Best film award at the 13th Chicago South Asian Film Festival. It may be recalled that writer-director Paresh Mokashi has so far given two out of the box films like ‘Elizabeth Ekadashi’ and ‘Chi Vi Sau Ka’ in association with Zee Studios and have won several awards for these films.

Reacting to the present success achieved by ‘Valvi’ Paresh Mokashi said, “Finding our film’s screening itself at this prestigious film festival was a big thing and therefore winning the Best film award is the happiest moment for the entire team.” Zee Studios Business Head Mangesh Kulkarni also reacted, “With this latest award, there is one more feather in the cap of Zee Studios. And, this is very good for the further journey of this film. There was a big competition in this film festival and therefore winning the Best film award is big achievement for all of us.”
