Marathi short film ‘Pandemic – The Bright side’ wins many awards
Journalist Nandu Dhurandhar’s Marathi short film ‘Pandemic – The Bright Side’ has received good response at different international short film festivals in India and abroad. In Bangalore Chalchitra Rolling Award ‘ festival this film has bagged ‘The Best Dramatic film’ and The Best Production’ award. For Italy Film Festival, this film has been selected for the final round.
At the Great Indian Short film festival in Kolkatta, this film has found official entry. The film was shot last year during Corona Pandemic and this is the first film made by Gama Foundation on family relationship. The makers of this film Producer Mahesh kalekar, director Nandu Dhurandhar, Concept designer and actress Amruta Deodhar and co producer Nikhil Katare are confident that their film will be appreciated at all the prestigious International film festivals this year too.
Nikhil Katare has written the screenplay and dialogues of this film besides being the assistant director, story and concept is by Amruta Deodhar while cinematography is by Makarand Panchal. Besides Amruta Deodhar, artistes from Soortaal , Vile Parle Group, namely Mahesh Arur, Shalaka Arur, Ulka Kamat and Pallavi Nerurkar have performed in this film.
