Renowned veteran Marathi actor Ramesh Deo is no more. He passed away yesterday due to heart failure. He was 93. Ramesh Deo worked in 190 Marathi films and 285 Hindi films during his acting career of almost 65 years. He was the senior most Marathi actor who was active till 2019. Always cheerful, he attended many events, wherever he was invited and gave inspiring speeches.

 Ramesh Deo had his own production company and produced Marathi films and TV serials. He also produced many advertisement films through his company. In January 2013, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 11th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF). Ramesh Deo married his former co star Seema and has two sons Ajinkya and Abhinay. Many prominent personalities have paid homage to the veteran Marathi actor.
