Sukhwinder Singh renders a Marathi song during the muhurat of film ‘Raja’
Besides its good content, Marathi films have also received recognition for their pleasant songs. Singer Sukhwinder Singh, who has created a distinct image for himself in Hindi film industry with his style of singing, had a song picturized on him for a Marathi film in the past. And now, for the muhurat of the forthcoming Marathi film ‘Raja‘ he rendered a song celebrating the occasion with great enthusiasm. Made under the Banner of ‘Satyasai Multimedia Pvt. Ltd‘, the film is produced by Pravin Kakad and Co-produced by Naresh Sakhre.
On this occasion, Member of Parliament Dr. Pritam Munde, Dr. Ajinkya D.Y.Patil (Chairman D.Y.Patil Group), Pravin Darade (Secretary to the Chief Minister), Additional Director General Surendra Pande, Dr. H. Khorakhiwala (Chairman Wockhardt Group), Additional Police Commissioner Pratap Dighavkar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Ranjit Dhakne, Industrialist Gaurav Khade, Pravin Talreja and Dilip Patil, were present.
The wordings of the song rendered by Sukhwinder Singh are, ‘Raatbhar…. Gaavbhar….. Hovu De Bobhaata Jan Jan Janan Janan Vaajavu Jannaata‘. Sukhwinder Singh himself will be dancing to this number and the dance has been choreographed by Santosh Bhangre. The film ‘Raja‘ is based on the life of a pop singer. The story and the script is written by director Shashikant Deshpande, dialogues are by Milind Inamdar and Shashikant Deshpande. The songs, penned by Valay Mulgundh, are set to music by Pankaj Padghan. The star cast of the film comprises of Saurdeep Kumar, Swarada Joshi, Nishita Purandare, Sharad Ponkshe, Jaiwant Wadkar, Surekha Kudchi, Vineet Bonde and Pauras Deshpande have acted in this film. Cinematography is by Damodar Naidu.
