Marathi film ‘Lathe Joshi‘ which was presented by Amol Kagne has won about 20 awards at various National and international film festivals . The film will now travel to Taiwan & Russia. In Taiwan, the film has been selected in the 58th Asia Pacific Film festival , while in Russia it will be screened at the Sakhlin International film festival.

Directed by Mangesh Joshi, the film had already received critical acclaims from media persons as well as from sensible audience after its official release. Speaking about the selection of the film at Taiwan and Russian film festivals, presented Amol kagne seemed extremely happy. After ‘Halal‘ this was our second film which dealt with an important social issue, which has been appreciated by film lovers all over the world. The film stars Chittaranjan Giri, Ashwini Giri, Om Bhutkar, Seva Chauhan & Ajit Abhyankar.

Some films create a buzz prior to their release, because of receiving acclaim at various International Film festivals. ‘Lathe Joshi’ is one of them. The film had already raised curiosity for its unique title. And recently, when the teaser poster of this film was released on social networking sites, there are more discussions taking place among the film lovers. Now, it will be officially released all over Maharashtra on 13th July 2018.

Known for his award winning Marathi film ‘Halal’ Amol Kagne along with Laxman kagne is presenting this film, which is written and directed by debutant Mangesh Joshi. Amol who began his acting career as a stage artiste, will also be performing lead role in this film. Till now Marathi Film ‘Lathe Joshi’ has been shown in 21 different film festivals. At the prestigious Pune International Film Festival ( PIFF), this film has bagged many awards, besides winning the best film award. The film will also be screened at the esteemed Goa Marathi Film festival.
