‘Free Hit Danka’ to be released on 17th December
Cricket is considered to be the religion of our country and therefore a film on this subject, certainly invites all the attention. From young to old, everybody is crazy about this game. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Free Hit Danka’ is based on the subject of cricket, which is written and directed by Sunil Magare on the backdrop of a village. Recently, the teaser of this film was unveiled on social media, where we find ‘Fandry’ fame actor Somnath Avghade playing his strokes.
According to the makers of this film, this film presents the struggle experienced in the game of cricket, besides the enthusiasm , various strategies and toughness of village level players . The cricket match played between two villages out of the rivalry between the two leaders is the highlight of this film. This film is produced by Akash Alka Bapu Thombre, Meghnath Gurunath Sorkhade, and Sunil Magare Besides Somnath Avaghade, the film also stars Apoorva S , ‘Sairat fame artistes Arbaaz, Tanaji, Suresh Vishwakarma, Anil Nagarkar, Ganesh Deshmukh in lead roles.

After announcement of reopening of cinema halls soon in Maharashtra, Marathi film producers have started announcing the release dates of their films, after waiting for almost 20 months. Recently, makers of ‘Free Hit Danka’ besides releasing the new poster of their film also announced the release date as 17th December 2021. Produced by Aakash Alka Bapu Thombre, Meghnath Gurunath Sorkhade ,Sunil Magare this film is written and directed by Sunil Magare.
Highlight of this film is that renowned artistes from two award winning films namely ‘Fandry’ (Movie review) fame Somnath Avaghade and ‘Sairat’ (movie review) fame Arbaaz Sheikh (Salya) and Tanaji Galgunde (Langadya) will be seen together in this film in lead roles with Apoorva Shelgoankar.
Sanjay Navgire is known for his work on ‘Tattaad‘, ‘Redu’ (movie review) and ‘Maatangi’ has written the dialogues of this film. Music of this film is composed by Baban Adagale and Ashok kamble while Virdhawal Patil has handled the cinematography.
Apurva Shelgaonkar to play lead role in film ‘Free Hit Danka’
SGM Films have recently released Teaser Poster of their new Marathi film ‘Free Hit Danka’, which will present the combination of Love and Friendship. The poster of this film has clearly revealed the name of leading lady of this film. She is ‘Yuntum’ fame actress Apurva Shelgaonkar. Apart from her the names of two other artistes namely ‘Sairat’ fame pair of Arbaaz and Tanaji, who will be seen in important roles. The film is written and directed by Sunil Magare.
Interestingly, the makers of this film haven’t revealed the name of lead hero of this film. While the screenplay is written by director himself, the dialogues and lyrics are written by Sanjay Navgire. The music of this film is composed by Baban Adagale and Ashok Kamble, while cinematography is by Veerdhaval Patil. The film is produced by Atul Ramchandra Tarde, Aakash Bapu Thombre, Umesh narke, Prasad Shetty and Sunil Magre. Sudhakar Lokhande and Nitin Bapu Kharat are executive producers.

Our film industry which was affected due to lockdown on account of spread of corona virus, is now slowly returning back to normalcy, with the progress of shooting and post production work. Looking at this positive change, SGM Film Productions have announced their new Marathi film ‘Free hit Danka’ recently.
The teaser poster of this film was unveiled recently, giving an indication that it is all set to offer something different. The film is to be directed by Sunil Magare, while the screenplay, dialogues and lyrics are penned by Navgire. The film is set on the backdrop of close relationship between friendship and love.
Thought the official announcement of this film has been made, the names of the artistes in the film have not been disclosed yet. Music of this film is by Baban Adagale and Ashok Kamble, while cinematography is by Veerdhaval Patil.
