Known for her previous sensible film ‘Kakan’, Writer- Director Kranti Redkar Wankhede is back with her new Marathi film ‘Maitreya’ which is produced by Manoj Khatalkar. The new subject presented by Kranti through this film revolves around the friendship of four characters played by Samar, Aayushi, Sky and Ruchi.

According to Kranti Redkar Wankhede , ‘Maitreya’ is a story of friendship in everyone’s life. Friendship is one such thing which remains permanently in our memory, even with change of time. She seems to be happy to present this new subject after a sensible film ‘Kakan’, which was well appreciated.

So, there is a lot of curiosity among film lovers about the story of this film, after watching the teaser of this film. But, they will have to wait till further announcement to be made by the makers of this film.
