Marathi stage has always offered plays on sensible subjects, over the years. Now, renowned Marathi artistes Sharad Ponkshe , Suyash Tilak and Priyanka Tendolkar have come together to offer their play ‘Katkon Trikon’ during the month of August 2026. And the poster of this play which has been released has raised a lot of curiosity among the stage lovers.

The play revolves around a happening in the life of a simple a simple family, which complicates their life, with new questions arising out of their answer to every problem. Director Ajit Bhure says that this play will be a family thriller which shows the changes noticed in the relationship among the family members, with the progress of the play. We have tried to create such situations, where the audience will have the question in their mind – What next ? .
Vivek Bele is the write of this play with Pradeep Mulye as production controller. Shital Talpade will manage light effects, while Sai-Piyush have given the music for this play. This play is presented by Chourangee Entertainment.

‘Friend Request’ is a commonly used expression on social media. It is a new way of making friendship with even those who are strangers to you. Sometimes, this way may help you or also land you in trouble. Perhaps looking at the experiences of so many people, a new Marathi play with the title ‘Friend Request’ will be presented soon.
Written by Prasad Dani and directed by Kumar Sohoni, this play stars Ashish Pawar, Priyanka Tendolkar, Atul Mahajan and Ajay Purkar in lead roles. This suspense filled play filled with emotions and comedy, shows how the life of four people changes with one Friend request. The inaugural show of this play will be held in Pune at Tilak Smarak Mandir on 25th January followed by another show next day at Balgandharva Rangmandir on 26th January. The first show in Mumbai will be on 1st February at 3.30 pm in Shivaji Mandir theatre.
