Kranti Redkar begins shooting of ‘Rainbow’ in London
Few months ago Planet Marathi and Hi IQ’ had announced launch of their Marathi film ‘Rainbow’ produced by Mangorange Productions. Now, director Kranti Redkar has started shooting of this film in London. As Rainbow indicates symbol of all colours, this film will offer the journey of these colours in today’s time in relationship. To watch this rainbow created by well known artistes, film lovers are eagerly waiting for this film.
‘Rainbow’ stars Sharad Kelkar, Sonalee Kulkarni, Urmila Kothare and Rishi Saxena in lead roles. According to director Kranti Redkar, the title of this film itself is colourful. And therefore, she has tried to show this colourful journey of their relationship through this cinematic version. “Through this film, I had an opportunity to be part of Planet Marathi. The long wait is over and now I have started the shooting of this film,” she said. Describing Kranti Redkar as best actress, Mr. Akshay Bardapurkar said, “Kranti is not only best actress but also a very good director.”
Kranti Redkar directed film soon on Planet Marathi
Well Known Marathi actress Kranti Redkar had made her debut in direction few years ago through her film ‘Kakan’. Now, her second film as director ‘Rainbow- Sohala Aathvya Rangacha (रेनबो – सोहळा आठव्या रंगाचा)’ will soon release on Planet Marathi OTT platform. This film has been produced by Planet Marathi’s Akshay Bardapurkar and Mangorange Productions’ Hridaya Bannerjee. The film will present colourful journey of changing relationship in today’s generation and stars Sonalee Kulkarni and Rishi Saxena in lead roles.
Speaking about her film director Kranti Redkar said that she was happy about her association with Planet Marathi through her film and has thanked Planet Marathi for giving her this opportunity. “After ‘Kanan’ I wanted to attempt something new and first wrote the story of this film. Thereafter, I found suitable artistes. They are all my good friends and therefore I am enjoying their company. I am sure, the audience will like this film.” Mr. Akshay Bardapurkar has also praised the work of Kranti in her earlier film ‘Kakan’ and feels confident about her work as a director in this film too.
