After making her first film ‘Kaakan’ writer- director Kranti Redkar Wankhede is returning after ten years, with her new Marathi film ‘Maitreyaa’, which is slated for release in theatres on 23^rd October 2026. Recently, the new poster of this film was released with the photos of four lead artistes in romantic mood.

This film is about friendship of these four youngsters and according to the makers, will talk about something beyond friendship. The four artistes seen on the poster are Aamar, Ayushi, Sky and Ruchi. Writer-directorKranti Redkar Wakhdehe is all praise for these artistes and has said that with this friendship she has tried to present a different journey in front of the audience.

Producer Manoj Khalatkar says, this is not just a film keeping in mind the young generation; but an entertaining film for the entire family.
