After ‘Gondhal’ Santosh Davakhar announces new historical film ‘Shahajiraje’
At a time, when his film ‘Gondhal’ is going worldwide, Santosh Davkhar has announced his next Marathi film ‘Shahajiraje’ on a historical subjectPresented by Davkhar films and written and directed by Vasant Davkhar , the poster of this film ‘Shahajiraje’ as released recently. The poster of this film clearly indicates the success story of Shajiraje, which is being presented for the first time in Marathi cinema.
Known for his knowledge on historical subjects , Mr. Davakhar will now handle the story of Shahajiraje, father of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who was known for his bravery and vision. ‘Shajiraje’ will be released during the year 2027 and will be presented in five other languages besides Marathi, namely Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
When there is curiosity about the actor who will be performing the title role of Shahajiraje, there is a news that a big star from South will play this role. So, a lot is expected from this film which is being presented by a Marathi film director.

National award winning director Santosh Davakhar recently released his next Marathi film ‘Gondhal’ trailer in a grand way, recently.
