‘Gosht Eka Paithanichi’ now on Planet Marathi
Marathi film ‘Gosht Eka Paithanichi’ which received National award for the best Marathi film during the 68th National Film Awards in 2022, has now been released on Planet Marathi OTT platform at a concessional rate on VOD section from 4th February 2023. ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ Marathi Movie Actress, Sayali Sanjeev
Actress Sayali Sanjeev the leading lady of ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ is excited about the release of this film on OTT platform which coincides with her birthday. So, it’s a big birthday gift for her, after receiving success in theatres all over Maharashtra. Presented by Mantra Vision and produced by Akshay Bardapurkar, Abhayanand Singh, Piyush Singh, Saurabh Gupta, this film is written and directed by Shantanu Rode and stars Sayali Sanjeev, Suvrat Joshi, Mrunal Kulkarni, Suhita Thatte, Milind Gunaji, Madhura Velankar, Girija Oak Godbole and Aditi Dravid in lead roles.
Sayali, Suvrat speak about their roles in ‘Goshta eka Paithanichi’
Much awaited Marathi film ‘Goshta eka Paithanichi’ is all set to release this Friday and therefore there is a lot of curiosity to know what the film is all about ? Lead artistes of this film Sayali Sanjeev and Suvrat Joshi have tried to explain about their characters in this film and how they prepared for these roles.
Sayali who plays a woman stiching blouses and making fall bidding for the sarees says that she always wants to study her characters and prepare for the same before the shooting. And therefore when she was offered this role, she actually joined a stichting class to understand the techniques of stitching so that she could portray her character naturally.
Suvrat who plays a flower vendor in this film, says that he prepared himself by standing next to flower vendors on the street and observed their body language closely. These characters though look simple, are very challenging to portray and that is why both these lead artistes studied them in their own ways. Produced by Akshay Vilas Bardapurkar, Piyush Singh, Golden Resho Films and Planet Marathi and directed by Shantanu Ganesh Rode, this film also stars renowned artistes like Mrunal Kulkarni, Suhita Thatte, Milind Gunaji, Madhura Velankar, Girija Oak, Aditi Dravid in lead roles.
Post production work of ‘Gosht Eka Paithanichi’ resumes
Producers Akshay Bardapurkar, Abhayanand Singh, Chintamani Dagde and writer director Shantanu Ganesh Rode had completed shooting of their Marathi film ’Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ little before the imposition of lockdown. However, they could not continue with their post production work of this film, due to imposition of lock down for almost more than two months. But now, with the relaxations offered by Government to begin the film shooting work and post production work in a phased manner taking all the necessary precautions, now the post production work of this film has resumed.
Recently, actress Sayali Sanjeev completed her dubbing work for this film taking all the necessary precautions. So now, the film is getting for release soon. Along with Sayali Sanjeev the film stars Suvrat Joshi, Shashank Ketkar and Milind Gunaji. The names of other artistes in the film have not been disclosed yet. Only few days ago the teaser of this film was released on social media which received good response. Now, all eyes on the film’s release date to be announced soon, but not before everything returns to normal.
Milind Gunaji shows the way
Known for his commitment and sincerity Milind Gunaji has earned a good name in film industry. Recently, when he was casted for an important role in the forthcoming Marathi film ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’, Milind asked for the script before he proceeded to Bangkok for the shooting of his another film.
When he returned from Bangkok, Milind reported for the shooting of ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ as per the schedule. He took no time to get ready for shoot, as he was prepared with his dialogues. This clearly displayed his professionalism in this acting field. More so, his preparations made the director Shantanu Rode more than happy.
Milind plays the role of Inamdar a rich person in this film, who loves his wife through his heart and meets all her demands happily. Producer Akshay Bardapurkar I highly impressed with the choice of Milind for this role and feels that he perfectly fits into this character.
Shashank Ketkar finds important role in ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’
Popular Marathi television actor Shashank Ketkar who has also appeared in some of the films, will now be seen in an important role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ , which is produced by Akshay Bardapurkar and written and directed by Shantanu Rode. The film already stars Suvrat Joshi and Sayali Sanjeev.
This role came as a big surprise for Shashank. It so happened that Shashank had visited the office of Akshay Bardapurkar for some other work. During this meeting, he was asked to go through a script and offered a part for reading. This turned out to be an offer for an important role in his film ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’.
Speaking about this offer, Shashank admits that it all happened all of a sudden and after reading the story and his role, he liked the concept and agreed to perform in this film.
Suvrat Joshi to play Flower Vendor in new Marathi film
Popular Marathi actor Suvrat Joshi has already a good fan following after he appeared in television serials. Now, he will be seen in a challenging role of a flower vendor in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ which is directed by Shantanu Ganesh Rode. The shooting of this film is already going on. The film is being produced by Planet Marathi and Golden Rechho Films.
Sayali Sanjeev is playing an important role in this film and along with her is Suvrat Joshi. Suvrat had a great experience during the shooting of this film at Bhor. He had to take lessons of wrapping the flowers for delivery to preparing attractive bouquets. Speaking about this challenging role, Suvrat says, “Doing something what you have not experienced in life is a big challenge. And I love to play such characters. This role is really challenging for me. Initially, I had to observe such people into this profession. There is an art in doing this job. The story of this film is also very appealing and myself being part of this film, itself makes me happy.”
