New Song ‘Hey Sharade’ from Phulwanti Honors Goddess Saraswati
As the festive season of Navratri unfolds, the upcoming Marathi film Phulwanti brings a spiritual offering with its new song, Hey Sharade. This song pays tribute to Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge and wisdom, with its soulful and energizing lyrics. Written by Mandar Cholkar and composed by Rahul Deshpande, Hey Sharade features uplifting music by Avinash Vishwajeet, invoking joy and a sense of devotion.
The film Phulwanti revolves around the artistic and intellectual rivalry between a dancer, Phulwanti, and a scholar, Venkata Dhvari Narasimha Shastri, offering audiences a unique blend of art and intellect. ‘The AI Dharma Story’ to release on 25th October
Pushkar Jog’s much talked about film ‘The AI Dharma Story’ which is based on Artificial Intelligence is all set for release on 25th October 2024. Recently, this announcement was made on social media along with new poster of this film which shows lead artistes Pushkar Jog, Smita Gondkar and Deepti Lele. This film is directed by Pushkar Jog himself.
Having offered variety of Marathi films in the past, this is Pushkar’s new film which deals with a timely subject. Speaking about his film, Pushkar says, “This film which will be released on 25th October, has a different subject about a father and a daughter.Using AI technology, daughter of a reputed father is kidnapped out of personal vengeance. And then, the father goes on in search of his daughter. All these sequences which are filled with action will remind you of actions noticed in some Hollywood films.”
Pooja Kale seeks blessings of Kolhapur’s Mahalaxmi Devi
Lead actress of new TV serial ‘Aai Tulzabhavani’ Pooja Kale sought the blessings of Kolhapur’s Mahalaxmi Devi, as her serial will be aired on Colors TV Channel from 3rd October 2024 from 9 pm onwards.
Pooja Kale performed all the rituals at this place at the time of seeking blessings of the Goddess. Pooja is playing the title role in this serial. The promos of this mythological serial has already created a buzz among the home viewers and therefore, Pooja is also eager to see a good response to her serial.
‘Bol Rani Bol’ to be released on 7th February 2025
After working together in the film ‘Sanai Choughade’ popular Marathi artistes Subodh Bhave, Sai Tamhankar and Chinmay Mandlekar are returning after 15 years through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bol Rani Bol’. Produced by Apoorva Motiwale Sahay, Sid Vinchurkar and Amit Bhanushali, this thriller film is directed by debutante Sid Vinchurkar.
The shooting of this film is just completed and according to makers of this film, it will be released on 7th February 2025. Speaking about this film, director Sid Vinchurkar says, “Marathi films have reached worldwide, because of the best subjects handled, which are highly appreciated by overseas viewers. When I was abroad, I used to regularly watch Marathi films. Film making is my passion and for this reason I returned to India.”
Grand Trailer launch of ‘Yek Number’ in presence of celebrities
The trailer of forthcoming much awaited Marathi film ‘Yek Number’ was unveiled in Mumbai in a grand way, in presence of celebrities like Aamir Khan, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Rajkumar Hirani, Sajid Nadiadwala & Abhijat Joshi. And they all came on an invitation from Mr. Raj Thackeray, who was personally present on this occasion, to thank each one of them.
The trailer of this film was full of action with more focus on sound, screenplay dialogues and music to keep the audience engaged to their seats. Music directors of the film Ajay- Atul were also present along with director of the film Rajesh Mapuskar, producers Tejaswini Pandit, Varda Nadiadwala and representatives of presenters of the film Zee Talkies.

Jui Bhagwat says ‘Upload Karun Tak…’ through a song picturised on her
After making her debut on small screen last year through ‘Tumchi Mulgi Kaay Karte‘ last year, young actress Jui Bhagwat is now all set to appear on big screen, through her forthcoming film ‘Like Aani Subscribe’. Recently, the makers of this film Nitin Vaidya Productions, S.N. Productions LLP, Abhishek Merukar Productions have released an unusual song ‘Upload Karun Tak…’ picturised on Jui Bhagwat.
In this song picturised on her, Jui has presented her dance, adventure and acting skills to invite the attention of Marathi filmlovers. Besides Jui Bhagwat, this film also stars Amey Wagh, Amruta Khanvilkar, Shubhankar Tawde & Vitthal Kale in lead roles. Ashok Saraf to make a comeback to small screen
Versatile actor Ashok Saraf, popularly known as Ashok Mama in Marathi entertainment industry, is making a comeback to small screen through forthcoming Marathi serial ‘Ashok Ma. Ma.'; which will soon be released on Colors Marathi channel. The first look of this TV serial was out recently, generating a lot of curiosity among home viewers. The name plate on his door indicates his name as ‘Ashok Ma. Ma.’ So, that’s his character name in this serial.
The presenters of this serial, haven’t disclosed other details like, co-artistes along with Ashok Saraf and when exactly this serial will be aired? However, they have assured that these details will be revealed shortly. According to lead star Ashok Saraf, this will be an entertaining serial. ” Chinmay Mandlekar has written the story of this serial very effectively. ‘Ghaath’ to release on 27th September

‘Gulaabi’ to unfold the Women’s dream world on 22nd November
Violet Flame Motion Pictures, who are presenting forthcoming Marathi film ‘Gulaabi’ have announced the release date of their film as 22nd November 2024. Directed by Abhyang Kuvalekar this film is produced by Sonali Shivnikar, Sheetal Shanbhag, Abhyang Kuvalekar, Swapnil Bhamre and stars Shruti Marathe, Mrunal Kulkarni & Ashwini Bhave in lead roles.
