Fakt Marathi Channel is offering a treat of Horror films
Marathi film industry does not have the tradition of suspense filled horror films. But, there were some suspense filled Marathi horror films which have entertained Marathi audience. Now, Fakt Marathi Channel is offering a treat of such Marathi horror films to home viewers. During the period 2nd December to 8th December 2017 daily at 9.30 pm these horror films can be enjoyed by the lovers of horror films.
Making this announcement , Fakta Marathi Channel Business head Shyam Malekar has disclosed the names of these films. They are, ‘The Shadow’, ‘702 Dixits’, ‘Kalshekar Aahet Ka?’, ‘Gondya Martay Tangada’ & ‘Aabhaas’. He has expressed confidence that these films will be appreciated by the home viewers.
‘Hostel Days’ music released in presence of Bollywood singers
Music release of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Hostel Days‘ witnessed presence of Bollywood singers like Kumar Sanu, Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala, Bela Shende & Avadhoot Gupte. They all made director and music director Ajay Naik happy. Actually, the songs in this film are rendered by Kumar sanu, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala, Bela Shende & Avadhoot Gupte, adding special flavor and variety to the music of this film. Perhaps, It is for the first time that so many popular singers from Bollywood are singing for a Marathi film.
Speaking on the occasion, singer Kumar Sanu was all praise for director and music director Ajay Naik. “I really enjoyed singing for this film. I am sure the music of this film will be appreciated by all.” He said. Singer Shaan added that the song rendered by him in this film, helped me to understand the real fun of hotel life, while Kunal Ganjawala said that the music of this film will appeal the young generation. He wished all the best to Ajay and his film. Besides these popular Bollywood singers, some new singers like Priyanka Barve, Anandi Joshi and Rucha Bondre have also rendered their voices for the songs in this film. Set on the backdrop of 90s era, the film stars Prarthana Behere, Aroh Welankar and Virajas Kulkarni.
Miss Earth Hemal Ingale to make her debut through Marathi film ‘Aaas’
In the past ,many beauty Queens of various contests joined films, when they received offers. Zeenat Aman, Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai, Diya Mirza, Priyanka Chopra, Neha Dhupia are best examples. In the recent past, even Amruta Patki & Manasi Moghe made their debut in Marathi films. Now, one more beauty Queen Hemal Ingale from Kolhapur, who won the Miss earth beauty Contest and represented India at ‘The Miss Earth World‘ in USA, will be making her debut through Marathi film ‘Aaas‘.
Hemal Ingale will be playing a central character in ‘Aaas‘ film, which is produced and directed by Manoj Vishe, who has also written the story , screenplay and dialogues of this film. According to him Hemal is the real beauty with brains. He is highly impressed with her performance in this film and is confident that one day she will be among the leading actresses in films.
‘Dhingana’ gets ready for release on 8th December
Marathi films released during the past few years have tried to present some realistic themes based on what is happening around in our society. Cheating people who become members of chit fund has also been one of the breaking news on news channels. At the same time, many financial scams have been uncovered after the complaints received from the victims. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dhingana’ is also based on one such chit fund scam. It presents the story of a young villager Rajaram , who comes to the rescue of the entire village which has become the victim of a chit fund scam.
Produced by Sameer sadanand Patil and directed by Chandrakant Dudhgaonkar, the film is getting ready for release on 8th December 2017.Highlight of this film is the appearance of four Bollywood villains together. Stalwarts like Raza Murad, Shahbaaz Khan, Avtaar Gill & Kunica will be seen in the lead roles along with Priyadarshan Jadhav, Prajakta Hanamghar, Anshuman Vichare, Swapnil Rajshekhar & Prakash Dhotre. Music by Amitraj & Shashank Powar, choreography by Sujit Kumar, cinematography by I Giridharan are the other credits of this film.

Will Vaibhav and Prarthana create their Coffee magic once again ?
Two years ago, we witnessed a fine chemistry between youngsters Vaibhav Tatwawdi and Prarthana Behere in the film ‘Coffee Aani Barach Kahi‘ and the film received good appreciation from all age groups. Now, they are returning together through forthcoming Marathi film ‘What’s Up Lagna‘. But, their fans will have to wait till February next year, as the film’s release date has been announced as 9th February 2017.
Besides presenting a love story the makers of this film are confident about the music of this film. The musical songs in this film have been composed by Nilesh Moharir on the lyrics of Ashwini Shende. No wonder they thought of releasing the song ‘Tu Jarashi Ye Urashi…‘ three months in advance. Presented by Jai Joshi and Nanu Jaisinghani, this film is directed by Vishwas Joshi, who had co produced super hit Marathi film ‘Natasamrat‘. So, obviously, there are big expectations from this film.
Saurabh Gokhale to appear as Sant Dnyaneshwar in ‘Tu Majha Sangati’
Having performed as Sant Dnyaneshwar in few episodes of past TV serial ‘Aawaz‘ which presented stories of popular saints from Maharashtra, popular stage, TV and film actor Saurabh Gokhale has got an opportunity to portray the same character once again through forthcoming episodes of ongoing TV serial ‘Tu Majha Sangati‘.
Speaking about this role, Saurabh said,”When I got an opportunity to play Sant Dnyaneshwar in the serial ‘Aawaz –Itihasatlya Soneri Panancha‘, it was the biggest challenge. But, I could perform this difficult task, only due to efforts taken by director Virendra Pradhan. And, the audience appreciated my performance. Now, to play the same character once again, is another big challenge for me.”
In ‘Tu Majha Sangati‘ the makers would like to present the situation, when Dnyaneshwar along with Nivrutti, Sopan & Muktabai visit Sant Gora Kumbhar, when he showed the way to Sant Namdev and his pride. This story can be heard from Sant Tukaram in the coming week from Monday to Saturday at 7.30 pm.
First look of ‘Ghat’ unveiled
Alandi is popular place of pilgrimage for being the resting place of the 13th century Marathi Saint, Sant Dnyaneshwar Located at located on the holy banks of the Indrayani River, this place has special significance for those who come here to find peace of mind. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Ghat’ is set on the backdrop of the banks of this holy place and presents the story of two friends and their struggle in life. Produced by sachin jare and directed by Raj Gorde, this film is now set to release on 15th December 2017.
According to the director of this film, he has presented an emotion filled story of two friends Manya and Papya, who belong to this place. He has also included a song in praise of Dnyaneshwar Mauli, as per requirement of the script. Music of this film is composed by Rohit Nagbhide, while sound designing is by national award winner Mahavir Sabbanwar . the star cast of the film comprise of Child artistes Yash Kulkarni & Dattatray Dharme along with Mitali Jagtap, Umesh Jagtap & Riya Gawli.
Sonali Kulkarni goes down memory lane at IFFI Goa
Versatile Actress Sonali Kulkarni was recently in Goa to become part of International Film festival of India( IFFI). In this festival, she was called at the Bioscope Village section, when Sonali Kulkarni recalled her memories in Goa. Sonali’s Bollywood film ‘Dil Chahta Hai‘ was shot in Goa in 2001 . Incidentally, Sonali’s film ‘Kaccha Limbu‘ was screened at this festival.
Speaking on this occasion, Sonali Kulkarni said that she always loved to to come to Goa. Speaking about her experience while working with people like Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar, she said that all three of them were very professional and systematic . “Every moment with them was a memorable experience with lots of fun shared with the. At that time, even my birthday was celebrated by them in a big way. Whenever I come to Goa, I recall all those past memories ,” says Sonali.
‘Dhingana’ promises musical entertainment in the company of Marathi & Hindi stars
Combining our Marathi stars with Hindi film stars is not new to Marathi cinema. But, forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dhingana‘ produced by Samir Sadanand Patil and directed by Chandrakant Dudhgaonkar promises a musical entertainer. This has been suggested during the music and trailer launch of this film recently in Mumbai. There is variety in the songs and one of the songs is in three languages, Marathi, Hindi and English. Above all, popular singers like Anand Shinde, Adarsh Shinde along with debutant Radni Tyagraj. Music of this film is composed by Amitraj & Shashank Powar.
‘Dhingana‘ presents the theme of a chit fund scam and has Priyadarshan Jadhav, Prajakta Hanamghar, Anshuman Vichare, Swapnil Rajshekhar, Prakash Dhotre along with Hindi film artistes Raza Murad, Shahbaz Khan, Avtar Gill and Kunika in lead roles. Written by Hemant Edlabadkar, the cinematography of this film is done by I.Giridharan. Art by Sandeep Inamke & editing by Faisal Mahadik are other credits. The film is all set to release on 8th December 2017.
