‘सूर नवा ध्यास नवा’ कार्यक्रमाच्या ऑडिशन्समध्ये ५०० हून अधिक मुलांचा सहभाग
‘सूर नवा ध्यास नवा–छोटे सुरवीर‘ कलर्स मराठी वरील या कार्यक्रमाच्या ऑडीशन्स संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात पार पडत आहेत. रत्नागिरी, कोल्हापूर नंतर पुण्यामध्ये या ऑडिशन्स नुकत्याच पार पडल्या. पुणेकरांनी कार्यक्रमाच्या ऑडिशन्सला उदंड प्रतिसाद दिला. मुलांचा उत्साह आणि त्यांची तयारी वाखाणण्याजोगी होती. सगळीच मुलं प्रचंड तयारीने आली होती. कार्यक्रमाच्या ऑडिशन्समध्ये ५०० हून अधिक मुलांनी सहभाग घेतला. पुणे येथील इ. एस. सेकंडरी स्कूल, ४८६ सदाशिव पेठ, न्यू इंग्लिश स्कूल कॅम्पस, टिळक रोड येथे या ऑडिशन्स पार पडल्या. या कार्यक्रमाचा शुभारंभ ऑगस्ट महिन्यामध्ये होणार आहे.
कार्यक्रमाचे परीक्षक असणार आहेत आपल्या सगळ्यांचा लाडका अवधूत दादा, शाल्मली खोलगडे आणि महेश काळे. कार्यक्रमामध्ये सूत्रसंचालकाच्या भूमिकेत कोण असेल हे सध्या गुलदसत्यात आहे. ‘सूर नवा ध्यास नवा‘ छोटे सूरवीरच्या पुणे केंद्रावर पार पडलेल्या निवड चाचणीतून मुंबईतील मेगा ऑडीशन्ससाठी आठ स्पर्धक निवडण्यात आले. श्रीनिधी देशपांडे, नंदिनी गायकवाड, ईशिता मोडक, अक्षय चारभाई, धिरज शेगर, चैतन्य देवडे, आदी भारतीया आणि अभिषेक कांबळे यांची निवड झाली आहे. पुणे ऑडिशन्सला आलेल्या बऱ्याच स्पर्धकांनी त्यांच्या उत्तम सादरीकरणामुळे मने जिंकली परंतु या आठ स्पर्धकांना मुंबईला येऊन मेगा ऑडिशन्स मध्ये त्यांचे गाणे सादर करण्याची संधी मिळाली. आता ऑडीशन्स नागपूर मध्ये रंगणार आहे.
Shital Upare is also member of ‘Monsoon Football’ team
Miss india heritage International Shital Upare who made her acting debut through Marathi film ‘IPL- Indian Premacha Lafada‘ four years ago, is making a comeback through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Monsoon Football‘ directed by Milind Uke, who had directed Hindi film ‘Pathshala‘ in the past. Incidentally, Shital was busy with her modeling assignments besides doing a film from South.
Shital Upare herself has made announcement about being a member of the ‘Monsoon Football‘ team, in which she plays the role of Babli a housewife who is passionate about the game of football like her other housewives played by ‘Chak De India‘ fame Sagarika Ghatge, Vidya Malavade & Chitrashi Rawat. Award winning ‘Halal‘ fame actress Pritam kagne is also part of this film in parallel role.
Writer Ashish Ningurkar announces his next film ‘Ek Hota Pani’
Two years ago, he was seen at press shows of Marathi films, as a freelance Journalist. Those days, he used to share his lyrics with his colleagues, besides discussing the subjects he had in mind for Marathi films. At that time, nobody thought that in two years time he would be part of two films.
Ashish Ningurkar, who looked confident with his subjects, did find well wishers to support his ideas and his first film ‘Rairand‘ as a writer on the subject of child labour, saw its release not only in theatres but also at various film festivals last year. At some film festivals, this film also won awards and appreciation.
Now, Ashish is coming up with his next film ‘Ek Hota Pani‘ as a writer, which is directed by Rohan Satghare. Ashish has made official announcement of this film on his official networking page, sharing the first poster of this film. Produced by New Talent Search Movies, this film presents many well known artistes, as declared by Ashish. And, the title of this film clearly suggests that this will be his second film dealing with another important social issue.
Singer Savani Ravindra makes her debut in acting
Marathi playback singers turning towards acting is not new to all of us, as Ketaki Mategaonkar has been doing this balancing act successfully. Now, another popular singer from Marathi Savani Ravindra has also made her acting debut recently, through a web series ‘Galimaar’ on youtube , produced by Aditi Dravid. In this web series she has performed with popular television actor Suyash Tilak.
Speaking about her acting debut, Singer Savani Ravindra says, “I have always given top priority to singing and have been rejecting acting offers coming to me. But, when my old friend Aditi Dravid approached me with this offer, I could not say ‘no’ to her. It was all because of our good friendship. Moreover, Suyash has been my friend since my college days and hence there was no tension while acting. Actually, it was a good experience and I enjoyed it.”
Akshay Kumar releases trailer of Marathi film ‘Chumbak’ presented by him
We are all aware that Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be presenting Marathi film ‘Chumbak’ which is directed by Sandeep Modi. Recently, he released the trailer of this film at a grand function at PVR Cinemas Juhu. Official announcement has also been made about the film’s release on 27th July 2018. Besides Akshay Kumar, also present on the occasion were lyricist turned actor Swanand Kirkire along with artistes Sangram Desai, Sahil Jadhav, writer Saurabh Bhave , producers NarenKumar and National award winning director Sandeep Modi.
Speaking on this occasion Akshay Kumar said that this film speaks about what one should opt in the life. “First you make your choice and then that choice helps you settle down in your life.” After watching this film, Akshay feels that his decision of presenting this film is most appropriate. Swanand Kirkire, who is playing the most important character of Prasanna Thombre in this film, said that playing this role was not only a big challenge, but it also offered him an experience of learning new things. “My life has changed after playing this role.” he concluded. Director Sandeep Modi seemed to be extremely satisfied with the performance given by Swanand Kirkire and was all praise for him.

John Abraham to present cinematic version of a popular Marathi play
Presenting cinematic versions of popular Marathi plays is not new to Marathi film industry. ‘Ghashiram Kotwal‘, ‘Katyar Kaljat Ghusali‘ and ‘Natasamrat‘ are the best examples. Now, Bollywood actor John Abraham, who is a great lover of Marathi theatre and films, is producing a Marathi film, which is the cinematic version of popular Marathi play of 80’s ‘Savita Damodar Paranjape‘. This Marathi play with mind blowing script received overwhelming response from the audience when it was launched in 1985.
Directed by Shekhar Tamhane this gripping play had Reema Lagu and Rajan Tamhane in the lead. John wanted the new generation to watch this interesting subject and hence decided to give a cinematic form to this play, retaining the title. The film will be directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi and will present popular Marathi actor Subodh Bhave along with Trupti Toradmal & Rakesh Bapat in lead roles. John has decided to release this film on 31st August all over Maharashtra.

During the 60s Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar turned the first superstar of Marathi stage . His memorable performances in super hit Marathi plays like ‘Raigadala Jenvha Jaag Yete‘, ‘Ithe Oshalala Mrityu‘, ‘Ashrunchi Jhali Phule‘,’Garambhicha Bapu‘, ‘Aanandi Gopal‘, ‘Shitu‘, ‘Tujhe Aahe Tujhapashi‘, ‘Sundar Mi Honar‘, & ‘Madhumanjiri‘ had won the hearts of drama lovers in Maharashtra. Now, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures will be presenting a Marathi feature film ‘Ani…Kashinath Ghanekar‘ on this acting legend, which they propose to release during coming Diwali this year. Directed by Abhijit Deshpande, the film stars Subodh Bhave in title role along with other versatile artistes Sonali Kulkarni & Sumit Raghavan. For Subodh Bhave, who has portrayed great personalities like Balgandharva & Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak in the biopics on their lives, this is another big challenge for him.
Sanjay Jadhav announces his new film ‘Lucky’
Known for offering hit films like ‘Duniyadari‘, ‘Tu Hi Re‘, ‘Pyar wali Love Story‘, ‘Guru‘ and ‘Ye Re Ye Re Paisa‘ the cinematographer turned director Sanjay Jadhav has now announced his new Marathi film ‘Lucky‘. Sanjay himself has not only made official announcement of his film on social networking page, but has also disclosed its release date as 7th December 2018.
