Great fan of Sachin Tendulkar pays tribute to his idol through his film ‘Tendlya’
Making a biopic on a great person is not new to Marathi films. But, now a Marathi film has been made on the fans of ‘God of Cricket’- Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin Jadhav who is himself a great fan of Sachin Tendulkar has made this Marathi film suitably titled ‘Tendlya‘, which shows the affection of fans towards their idol. The film talks about Sachin’s fans and the love and affection these fans shower on him.
According to director Sachin Jadhav, who has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues of this film, the artistes in this film are very natural. Nachiket Waikar is the assistant director of this film, while Balkrishna Sharma has done the cinematography. The film ‘Tendlya‘ will not only present the love of fans towards their idol, but also the craze of cricket and excitement of cricket matches played in rural areas. Recently, the teaser poster of ‘Tendlya‘ film was unveiled at the hands of sports Journalist and commentator Mr. Sunandan Lele. The artistes and technicians of this film were present on the occasion.
Rutwikk Kendre unveils official poster of his film ‘Sargam’
Being the son of reputed Marathi drama director Waman Kendre and actress veteran Gauri Kendre, he already has acting in his blood and possesses the required talent to become a good actor. Today, Rutwikk Kendre has already established himself on television and Marathi theatre at a young age. His Hindi drama ‘Mohe Piya’ has become popular all over India and now the good news is that his film ‘Sargam’ will be released soon.
Rutwikk has himself unveiled the official poster of his film ‘Sargam’ on his social networking page and we find him behind a camera and also facing the camera. One thing is sure that Rutwikk is playing the lead role in this film, giving him enough scope to display his talent, but what kind of role he is playing is still not known. Obviously, there are big expectations from this young actor on big screen. The film is written and directed by Shiv Kadam.

The most interesting thing about this film is its unusual punch line on the poster, which challenges to reverse the Darvin’s theory. Madhuri Dixit is all praise for Sumedh Mudgalkar
Hindi TV star Sumedh Mudgalkar is in the news. This time the heartthrob of millions of girls, handsome Sumedh is in seventh heaven, as the Dhak Dhak Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit has praised his performance in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bucket List’. Madhuri is making her debut through this film and Sumedh is also playing an important character in this film. Sumedh was earlier seen in Marathi films like ‘Ventilator’ and ‘Manjha’ . But, his role in this film will prove to be the most important one in his career. This is what Madhuri Dixit feels and she has openly admitted this on her Twitter page.
Reacting to this fine gesture shown by the veteran actress, Sumedh said, “This pat on my shoulder coming from Madhuri mam is a big compliment for me. A number of years she has spent in her film career is not even my age.” With this praise, the expectations of the Marathi film lovers from this actor are certainly high. कलर्स मराठीवरील सध्या गाजत असलेली ‘बिग बॉस‘ मराठी मध्ये बिग बॉसने घरातील प्रत्येक सदस्याला त्यांची संघर्षगाथा घरच्यांना आणि स्पर्धकांना सांगण्याची संधी दिली. या टास्क मध्ये एकएक करून प्रत्येक स्पर्धकाने त्यांची संघर्षगाथा सांगण्यास सुरुवात केली. हे सांगत असताना घरातील सगळे भावूक झाले. ‘बिग बॉस‘च्या घरामध्ये पहिल्या दिवसापासून चर्चेत असणारे अनिल थत्ते यांची वेळ येताच त्यांनी आपली संघर्षगाथा न सांगता आपला जीवनप्रवास सांगायला सुरुवात केली.

Nagesh Bhosale to portray a dangerous villain in ‘Mahasatta 2035′
We are all aware of the importance of a villain in a film which shows a protagonist hero achieving his goal. Without facing hurdles, the hero of the film cannot emerge a champion and receive appreciation from the audience. But, for that the villain in the film has to be equally strong . This has been the practice followed over the years, for the success of the film. Nagesh Bhosale, who has played some powerful negative roles of villain in the past, plays the dangerous character of a Politician Abasaheb in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Mahasatta 2035‘.
Incidentally, the role played by Nagesh Bhosale has already received appreciation from critics at 49 international film festivals, where ‘Mahasatta 2035‘ film was screened. And therefore, it will be interesting to watch him play this character which according to film makers, is totally different from the roles played by him so far. The young hero of this film is played by Ramprabhu Nakate. The film is all set for release on 18th May 2018 all over Maharashtra.
Nikhil Raut impressive in the role of Veer Savarkar
Every artiste expects good response from the audience for his or her performance. And, if the audience come forward to give a pat on their shoulder, it is like receiving an award. This has happened in the case of actor Nikhil Raut, who is playing the role of great freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the Marathi play ‘Challenge‘. Recently, after one show of this drama, some people came to meet him and shed tears in appreciation of his role. One of them, even offered envelope containing cash to him and director Digpal Lanjekar.
Reacting to this response, Nikhil Raut says that as an actor he has been putting his heart into the character played by him. But, after watching this overwhelming response from the audience, he has to accept such gifts, considering the same as a token of love and affection showered upon him. Watching his performance, some people have even come after the show to touch his feet. This may be because of the respect people still have for the great freedom fighter .
‘Lagna Mubarak’ teaser creates a buzz
Some films create a buzz prior to their release and forthcoming Marathi film ‘Lagna Mubarak‘ is one of them. Ever since the teaser of this film was launched, this film has become the topic of discussion among Marathi film lovers. Written and directed by the duo Chetan Chawda and Sagar Pathak this film deals with the subject of politicization of religion and caste in our society. The film is produced by Gauri Pathak and presented by Abhay Pathak and Ajinkya Jadhav and is set for release on 11th May 2018.
The music of this film is composed by Sai- Piyush & Troy- Arif . Highlight of this film is that two renowned film makers Sanjay Jadhav and Mahesh Manjrekar will be performing in ‘Lagna Mubarak‘ film as artistes. Sukhvinder Singh performs live during music launch of Marathi film ‘Raja’
Bollywood singers singing for Marathi films is not new. But now, these singers have also started performing live during Music release of such Marathi films. Recently, during the music release of Marathi film ‘Raja‘ Singer Sukhvinder Singh rendered the song from this film live. There were many prominent personalities from Politics, Police, administrative services and entertainment industry present on this occasion. The music of ‘Raja‘ film was released at the hands of Mr. Mahadeo Jankar, Maharashtra’s Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Development.
The film’s story is based on the life of a Pop Singer and therefore in this musical film, there are eight songs of different genres. Apart from Sukhvinder Singh, the other singers who have rendered their voices for this film are, Shaan, Udit Narayan, Rohit Raut, Saurabh Salunke, Urmila Dhangar, Sayali padghan & Milind Shinde. Music is by Pankaj Padghan. The film stars new faces like Sourdeep Kumar, Swarda Joshi & Nishita Purandare along with versatile artistes like Sharad Ponkshe, Jaywant Wadkar, Surekha Kudchi, Vineet Bonde & Pouras. Any guess about the participants in first Marathi ‘Bigg Boss’ ?
Marathi ‘Bigg Boss’ is all set to appear on Colors Marathi from 15th April @7 pm and in its first episode, the programme anchor Mahesh Manjrekar besides making his grand entry will also be announcing the names of the participants. Thereafter this programme will be telecast from Monday to Saturday @ 9.30 pm and on Sunday @ 9. Till now, the presenters of this programme have managed to maintain the secrecy about the names of the participants in this show, thus raising curiosity among the home viewers.
The biggest challenge before the presenters of this show is to invite the home viewers to watch this programme during prime time, as the ongoing IPL Cricket is already drawing a good viewership. No wonder, Mahesh Manjrekar himself is doing the ad campaign, by inviting the attention of the home viewers. In the latest ad, he was seen shaking his legs along with the dancers on a title song, which has been choreographed by Pratik Utekar.
