For that , with the help of few friends and well wishers, he somehow managed to survive in this city, which does not let down people with talent. Initially, he worked as assistant director for TV serials and later as production assistant to get the work satisfaction. But, the problem of accommodation and food always remained a big problem, till Amol found a job of a production Manager in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s company, during the making of his film ‘Mission Kashmir‘. This job offered him company accommodation and good food from canteen.
But, the creative person in him could not remain satisfied with this job and soon he launched his own company Atharva Art Movies. Under this banner, he even started work on his own multi starrer film . But, his bad luck invited financial problems in this project. However, as someone has rightly said, “There is always sunshine after tears.” When Amol Lahande met Dr. Nitin Toshniwal from his home town Solapur , he narrated a story, which he had written for a film. Dr. Nitin liked the story so much that he immediately agreed to not only make a Marathi film on this story but also handed over the responsibility of direction to Amol. The outcome of their coming together was a film ‘Jaga Vegali Antyatra‘ , which is now due for release on 23rd March 2018.
Amol is all praise for Dr. Nitin Toshniwal and feels that he met the right person at the most crucial time of his struggle. Dr. Nitin also being a creative person, their coming together in the making of this film, has raised lots of hopes.
