Suchitra Bandekar returns to Marathi theatre after 20 years
A true stage artiste cannot remain away from theatre for a long time, however busy he or she may be in films or with television assignments. Suchitra Bandekar who had performed on Marathi stage about 20 years ago. It so happened that after she performed in famous Marathi play ‘Varyavarchi Varat’, she became popular with the famous Hindi TV serial ‘Hum Panch’ and thereafter there was no stopping for her in films and on television. Suchitra also performed in popular hit films like ‘Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy’ ( Marathi) and ‘Singham’ (Hindi).
The real life Home Minister of Popular TV programme presenter Aadesh Bandekar, Suchitra will now be seen in forthcoming Marathi play ‘Kutte Kaminey’ which will be directed by Chandrakant Kulkarni. Written by Dr. Vivek Bele, the play will soon be launched with its inaugural show. Speaking about her comeback to stage, Suchitra says that for the past several years, she couldn’t find time for acting, as she was very busy managing their own home production. But now, she is happy that she has found an opportunity to offer something to the Marathi theatre audience, through this new play, in which she plays an important role. The play will be launched with its inaugural show in second week of August 2017.
Gashmeer Mahajani and Spruha Joshi starrer ‘Mala Kahich Problem Nahi’ trailer launched
Presented by Torque Pharma and Filmy Keeda Productions upcoming Marathi film ‘Mala Kahich Problem Nahi‘ has fresh on screen pair of Gashmeer Mahajani and Spruha Joshi. Recently trailer of this movie was launched in Mumbai. The event was graced by the producers of the film P. S. Chhatwal, Reecha Sinha and Ravi Singh, along with the director Sameer Vidwans, Artists of the film – Spruha Joshi, Gashmeer Mahajani, Vijay Nikam, Seema Deshmukh, Master Arash Godbole.
The film ‘Mala Kahich Problem Nahi‘ is produced by Filmy Keeda Productions and directed by Sameer Vidwans. Besides Gashmeer Mahajani and Spruha Joshi leading the film’s cast, the film also stars Nirmiti Sawant, Mangal Kenkare, Kamlesh Sawant, Satish Alekar, Dr. Sahil Koparde & Vinod Lavekar in important roles. In this film we can see how youth always neglect their problems by saying ‘Mala Kahich Problem Nahi‘ & those small problems became big with the negligence is shown in the film. १७ कलावंतांचा ‘चित्रकर्मी पुरस्कार’ देवून सन्मान
अखिल भारतीय मराठी चित्रपट महामंडळाच्या वतीने नेत्रदिपक ‘चित्रकर्मी‘ पुरस्कार नुकताच बालगंधर्व रंगमंदिर येथे पार पडला. या सोहळ्यात पुण्यातील चित्रपट क्षेत्रात उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी केलेल्या कलाकार व तंत्रज्ञांना हा पुरस्कार देवून त्यांनी दिलेल्या चित्रपटसृष्टीच्या योगदानाबद्दल त्यांना सन्मानित करून गौरविण्यात आले.
यावेळी एकूण १७ ‘चित्रकर्मी‘ पुरस्कार या वेळी प्रदान करण्यात आले. यात निर्माता- सुभाष परदेशी, दिग्दर्शक – कांचन नायक, लेखक – श्रीनिवास भणगे, छायाचित्रण – चारुदत्त दुखंडे, संगीत – प्रभाकर जोग, कला – शाम भूतकर, रंगभूषा – विक्रम गायकवाड, अभिनेता – राहुल सोलापूरकर, अभिनेत्री – ललिता देसाई, नृत्य – नंदकिशोर कपोते, संकलन – गिरीष ओक, चित्रपटगृह – अरविंद चाफळकर, चित्रपट समिक्षा – अरुणा अंतरकर या सन्माननियांना सन्मानचिन्ह, १० हजार रुपयांचा धनादेश, एक पुस्तक असे पुरस्काराचे स्वरूप होते. अभिनेते मनोज जोशी, दिग्दर्शक राजेश मापुस्कर, सुमित्रा भावे या राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त करणाऱ्या कलावंत व तंत्रज्ञांचा विशेष सन्मानचिन्ह देवून गौरव करण्यात आला.
यावेळी अभिनेत्री वर्षा उसगावकर, पूजा पवार, तेजस्विनी लोणारी, गिरीजा प्रभू, सुवर्णा काळे, अमित कल्याणकर अशा अनेक कलाकारांनी बहारदार नृत्य सादर केले. यावेळी प्रमुख पाहुणे म्हणून रामदास फुटाणे, ज्योती चांदेकर, सुहासिनी देशपांडे, जयमाला इनामदार, महामंडळाचे अध्यक्ष मेघराज राजेभोसले महामंडळाचे संचालक व पदाधिकारी उपस्थित होते.
सुप्रिया विनोद यांना आली आशा काळेंची आठवण
एक सीन शूट करताना अभिनेत्री सुप्रिया विनोद यांनी आशाताईंच्या अभिनयाला सलाम केला. जुन्या काळातल्या मराठी चित्रपटांमध्ये आशाकाळे हे भारदस्त नाव. त्यांचा अभिनय आजहीप्रेक्षकांच्या स्मरणात आहे. स्टार प्रवाहच्या ‘गोठ‘ या मालिकेच्या सेटवर आशाताईंची आठवण आली.
सुप्रिया म्हणतात, ‘तुळशीला हात जोडण्याचा सीन केला ‘गोठ‘मध्ये. आशाताई काळेंचीआठवण आली. अशा प्रसंगात पूर्णकन्व्हिक्शनने काम करण्यात त्या सर्वोत्तम. तसं जमेलच असं नाही. पण एक प्रामाणिकप्रयत्न… त्यांना सलाम!‘

गश्मीर महाजनीच्या डान्स स्टुडियोच्या वार्षिक समारंभाला रसिकांचा उत्स्फुर्त प्रतिसाद
अभिनेता गश्मीर महाजनीच्या ‘जीआरएम डान्स स्टुडियो’च्या डान्स स्टुडियो सुरू केला. यंदा त्याच्या डान्स स्टुडियोला १७ वर्ष पूर्ण झाली आहेत. शुक्रवारी ह्या डान्स स्टुडियोचा वार्षिक समारंभ झाला. ज्याला स्टुडियोच्या विद्यार्थ्यांसह पूणेकरांचा चांगलाचा प्रतिसाद लाभला.
यशवंतराव नाट्यगृहात आयोजित होणारा हा वार्षिक समारंभ भव्य आणि लॅविश करण्यावर त्याचा भर दिसून येत होता. कथ्थक पासून ते बॉलीवूड डान्स नंबर आणि हिपहॉपपर्यंत सर्व डान्स प्रकार ह्या कार्यक्रमात पाहायला मिळाले. ह्या समारंभात ‘टॉलीवूड डान्स एक्ट’ आणि गश्मिरचा डान्स परफॉर्मन्स हे मुख्य आकर्षण ठरले.
वार्षिक समारंभाच्या सुरूवातीला जीआरएम डान्स स्टुडियोने सीमेवर लढणा-या जवानांना, अमरनाथ यात्रेत बळी पडलेल्या यात्रेकरूंना आणि शहिदांना आदरांजली वाहिली. कार्यक्रमाला स्पृहा जोशी, समीर विव्दंस, सीमा देशमुख, सतीश आळेकर, असे मराठी फिल्मइंडस्ट्रीतले अनेक कलाकार उपस्थित होते. अभिनेत्री गिरीजा ओकने कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन केले आणि गश्मिर सोबत छोटासा परफॉर्मन्सही केला.
Three Marathi films to release this Friday
After a long time we will see release of three Marathi films together. And, all three films are most eagerly awaited films. They are, ‘Bus Stop‘, ‘Ti ani Itar‘ and ‘Manjha‘. The first film ‘Bus Stop‘ is a multi starrer, with a combination of young and old. Directed by Sameer Hemant Joshi it is mainly targeted at youngsters, but parents of youngsters will also be able to enjoy this film, as they will co relate themselves with few characters of parents from this film. Besides Pooja Sawant, Aniket Vishwasrao, Siddharth Chandekar & Amruta Khanvilkar the character played by popular TV actress Rasika Sunil will also be watched with big expectation.
Second film ‘Ti ani Itar‘ is a Bollywood director Govind Nihalani’s debut film in Marathi and this film too has big stars like Subodh Bhave, Sonali Kulkarni, Amruta Subhash, Priya Marathe, Bhushan Pradhan and others. Story of this film is based on the play ‘Lights Out’ by Manjula Padmanabhan. The third Marathi film directed by Jatin Wagle is ‘Manjha‘, which has a tagline questioning ‘what your son does after school hours?’ which will certainly generate interest among young parents of school going children. All in all, this Friday will be a big treat for Marathi film lovers, to make their choice.
सोनूच्या गाण्याचं मालवणी व्हर्जन

Who are playing Rahul & Anjali in ‘Tula Kalnnaar Nahi’ ?
Rahul and Anjali is very popular pair of characters in Bollywood lover stories. But, what if you get to see such characters in Marathi film ? Yes, this is happening through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Tula Kalnnaar Nahi‘ which is all set to release on 8th September 2017. Saksham Films, GISIMS & Cinecorn India will be presenting ‘Tula Kalnnaar Nahi’ film, which will be directed by Swapna Waghmare, who gave us that beautiful love story ‘Mitwa‘. Incidentally, Swwapnil Joshi is one of the producers, along with Shreya Kadam, Arjun Singh Baran & Kartik Nishandar.
Surprisingly, the makers of this film have not disclosed, who are playing the characters of Rahul and Anjali. But, recently in the Motion Poster of this film launched on social networking sites their voice can be heard. So, those who are familiar with their voices must have already guessed who is playing this lead pair. For others, it will be few more days, till further details are disclosed by the makers of ‘Tula Kalnnaar Nahi‘ film.
‘Shwaas’ fame Sandeep Sawant to return with ‘Nadi Vahate’
With his debut film as a director Sandeep Sawant shot into fame after release of his Marathi film ‘Shwaas‘, which not only won National award in 2004 but was also India’s entry for Oscars. Now, almost after 13 years, Sandeep is returning with his next film ‘Nadi Vahate‘, which will be released in September 2017.
Today, it is a big challenge for the people living in villages to preserve the river flowing in and around their village. To keep the river clean and make proper use of it, is the need of the time. ‘Nadi Vahate’ is set on the backdrop of this important timely issue. Recently, this film was conferred with special awards at the Zee Gaurav awards and Pune International film festival. Produced by Sandeep Sawant and Neerja Patwardhan under the banner of Sahaj Films, the cinematography of ‘Nadi Vahate‘ film is by Sanjay Memane. Editing by Niraj Vhoralia and art direction- dress design by Neerja Patwardhan are other credits.
शांभवीला सर्जाच्या प्रेमाची चाहूल
‘चाहूल‘ मालिकेमध्ये भोसलेंनी वाडा सोडल्यानंतर आता सगळेच निश्चिंतच आहेत. वाड्यामध्ये असलेल्या भूतापासून आता कुठलाही त्रास होणार नाही, कुठ्लीच भीती नाही या घरामध्ये आता आपण निवांत राहू शकतो असा विचार करून आलेल्या भोसल्यांना खरोखरच शांतता लाभणार आहे कि नाही? निर्मला त्या वाड्यामधून कशी बाहेर पडणार? हे सगळे बघणे रंजक असणार आहे. शांभवी आता भोसले परिवाराला सोडून गेली असली तरी तिला सर्जाची आठवण येते आहे. ती प्रत्येक क्षणी त्याला आठवत आहे. शांभवी आणि सर्जामधील हा दुरावा दाखविण्यासाठी ‘चाहूल‘ मालिकेमध्ये खास गाण्याचे शूट केले आहे.
