Rahul Dev recovers to shoot fight scene for Marathi film, despite injury
Actors suffering Injuries during the shoot has always been the topic of discussion among film lovers, especially when the actor is shooting action scenes without using a dummy. Many popular actors have gone through this stage. But, very few actors quickly recover, to complete the shooting to keep their commitment, despite suffering injury.
Recently, Bollywood actor Rahul Dev who is making his debut through Seven Seas and Dream Weaver productions’ Marathi film ‘Rocky’, met with an accident and suffered an injury. But, after treating his injured hand, he quickly resumed the shoot, surprising all those present on the sets. It so happened that Rahul and hero of this film Sandeep Salve were involved in a fight scene, when Rahul hit against a tube light set left on the ground and had injured his hand. Rahul’s devotion to work, certainly inspires other actors.

आनंद सागर प्रॉडक्शन्सच्या संजय पाटील यांनी चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली आहे. तर, ऑस्कर विजेत्या ए. आर. रेहमान यांचे सहकारी असलेल्या अश्विन श्रीनिवासन यांनी चित्रपटाचं संगीत दिग्दर्शन केलं आहे. या चित्रपटाद्वारे अश्विन यांचाही मराठी चित्रपट संगीतातला प्रवास सुरू झाला आहे. जोनिता आणि अॅश यांनी जय अत्रे लिखित ‘गार गार कोळशात उठावी ही आग कशी‘ हे ड्युएट गाणं गायलं आहे. पांडुरंग जाधव यांनी या चित्रपटाचं दिग्दर्शन केलं असून येत्या ८ सप्टेंबरला हा चित्रपट प्रदर्शित होत आहे.

Poster launched of new Marathi film ‘Aarti’
Presentation of true stories in cinematic form have always invited the attention of Marathi film lovers. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Aarti- The Unknown Love Story‘ written produced and directed by Sarika Mene is also based on one such true story.
Highlight of ‘Aarti- The Unknown Love Story‘ film is that it has received the blessings of veteran Bollywood actress Waheeda Rehman, who has offered all the help from her side, to enable the makers of this film to reach out to the audience with the timely message delivered by this film.
Recently, poster of ‘Aarti- The Unknown Love Story‘ film was launched at the hands of veteran Politician Manohar Joshi. The lead pair of the film is played by Roshan Vichare and Ankita Bhoir. Along with them are other artistes Sapna Karande, Umesh Damle, Sujit Yadav, Tejas Bane, Meghali Juvekar, Pranjali verma, Kanchan Pagare and child artistes Sara Mene & Anushka Patil.Music by Prashant Satose & Sujit-Tejas and cinematography & editing by Jyotiranjan Das are the other credits.
Makers of ‘Shentimental’ felicitate nine personalities for their contribution to society
Every film maker wants to promote his or her film in a different way. Abhay Jahiratbadkar, Sameer Patil , Santosh Bodke and Manjusha Bodke tried a different way, to present the first look of their film to the special invitees and media persons recently. A set of a typical Police station was designed for this purpose at the venue and even the important artistes of this film were dressed up in Police uniforms. But, the highlight of this function was the felicitation of nine personalities from different fields, for their contribution to the society. They were, Dr. Archana Sarda, Dr. Rajesh Sinha, Dr.Rajgopal kalani, Rony George, Jaywant Wadkar, Medha Manjrekar, Sugandha Lonikar, Nitin Vaidya and Dr. Uday Nirgudkar.
They were all felicitated with ‘Shentimental’ awards at the hands of prominent personalities like Maharashtra’s D.G.-SRPF Hon. Sandeep Bishnoi, Ms. Kirantai Diliprao Valse Patil and legendary Marathi actor and lead hero of this film Ashok Saraf. The story of this film revolves around an interesting Inter State Operation by Mumbai Police, with a touch of humor. Besides Ashok Saraf leading the film’s cast, the film also stars National award winning actor Upendra Limaye, ‘Lek Majhi Ladki’ TV serial fame Vikas Patil , ‘Classmate‘ film fame Pallavi Patil, Suyog Gorhe, Raghuveer Yadav, Ramesh Wani, Madhav Abhyankar, Uma Sardeshmukh, Rajan Bhise, Pushkar Shrotri and Vidyadhar Joshi in other important roles.
There are three songs in this film rendered by popular singers like Avadhoot Gupte, Bela Shende, Shaan, Nihira Joshi, Deshpande & Pavni Pande, on the music of Milind Joshi. Directed by Sameer Patil, the film is set to release on 28th July 2017.
Samruddhi Porey to begin a new innings on small screen
As a successful film maker Samruddhi Porey has already established herself making two quality films like ‘Mala Aai Vhaychay‘ and ‘Dr.Prakash Baba Amte‘. Through both these films, she clearly displayed her social commitment towards society. Now, Samruddhi Porey is all set to present her Marathi Television show ‘The real hero- Katha Samruddhichya‘ on Zee Marathi channel. Through this programme, which will be aired every Sunday at 11.30 am from 9th July 2017, Samruddhi Porey will focus on development in society.
For the first time, Samruddhi Porey will also play show anchor. Speaking about her programme, she says, “This programme will not only offer entertainment, but will also inspire the home viewers.” During every interaction, the special invitee will write a message on a picture . Music of Multi starrer ‘Bus Stop’ lunched in style
Multi starrer Marathi films have always invited the attention of film lovers, if they are well presented, besides being promoted well. Best examples are films like ‘Duniyadari‘ and ‘Classmates‘. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bus Stop‘ has already created a buzz through social networking sites, before its release. Recently, the music of this film was launched in style, in presence of all the artistes of this film, along with singers. And, the songs particularly ‘Move on…‘, ‘Aapla Romance…‘, ‘Dhoka Nahi Tar Hoil Dhoka…‘, & ‘Tujhya Savlila.. ‘ played on the occasion seemed to catch the attention of young audience.

Glam Girl Sonalee Kulkarni goes Bollywood way
After working as a model, Sonalee Kulkarni made her acting debut through Kedar Shinde‘s film ‘Bakula Namdeo Ghotale‘ exactly ten years ago. But, as an actress she shot into fame with her notable performance and brilliant dance skills through super hit Marathi film ‘Natarang’ in 2010. Till date, Sonalee has performed in about 22 films, including two Hindi films ‘Grand Masti‘ and ‘Singham Returns‘. Having played variety of roles in different films, she was at her best in films like ‘Mitwaa‘ and ‘Poshter Girl‘, when the directors of these two films exploited her potential.
No actress would admit that a particular role was her best, as she always waits for better and better roles. And, Sonalee Kulkarni is no exception. In the meanwhile, she is updating her social networking accounts, by regularly adding new photos in glamorous poses, on the lines of our Bollywood actresses. She not only releases her latest photos, but also writes suitable photo caption. At present, we find her as a judge in one popular comedy show on television, along with renowned film maker Mahesh Kothare. Is Subodh Bhave the most popular actor today ?
We had seen the best from Subodh Bhave as an actor and director through the film ‘Katyar Kaljaat Ghusali‘. But, later, his films like ‘Bandh Nylon Che‘, ‘Fugay‘ and ‘Karar‘ were below expectations. However, one should not forget that Subodh Bhave carried with him the success of films like ‘Lokmanya‘,’Balgandharva‘ and few others. Moreover, he has never let down his directors or his well wishers, when it was judging his individual performance. He has always been at his best giving his 100% with total involvement into his character. Best example was his negative character in ‘BhoBho‘, which he performed very effectively. No wonder, he is still in demand, when a particular film maker is looking for a lead actor with spontaneity.
Incidentally, Subodh has two simultaneous releases ‘Hrudayantar‘ and ‘Conditions Apply‘ on coming Friday, followed by Govind Nihalani’s Marathi film ‘Tee Ani Itar‘ after a few days. There are three more films he has in hand. And, with experience of ‘Aiyya‘ in Hindi and ‘Pinneyam‘ in Malyalam, he has certainly raised the expectations of Marathi film lovers. Fortunately for him, all his three films due for release, have different subjects. So, can we call Subodh Bhave, the most popular actor today, in Marathi film industry ?
Song dedicated to Lord Vitthal recorded for ‘Vitthala Shapath’
Come Ashadhi Ekadashi and all roads lead to holy town of Pandharpur in Maharashtra. Till now, all those films shot on the backdrop of Pandharpur have received good response from Marathi film lovers. Recently, writer-director Chandrakant Pawar recorded an important song dedicated to Lord Vitthal coinciding with the auspicious Ashadhi Ekadashi , for his forthcoming Marathi film ‘Vitthala Shapath’. Popular classical singer Rahul Deshpande rendered his voice for this devotional song written by Mahesh Kangane on the music of Chinar Mahesh.
Made under the banner of Gurudarshan Films and Pahel Productions’ LLP, the songs of this film will be released by Video Palace Music Company. Story and screenplay of this film are by Chandrakant Pawar, while the dialogues are penned by Chandrakant Pawar along with Kaustubh Savarkar & Bhanudas Panband. The wordings of this song, “Maal Tulshichi Tilaa Chandanacha Bhali ………. Thhai Thhai Majhi Vithaai” are expected to touch the hearts of devotees of Lord Vitthal. The film will be released soon.
Trailer of ‘Bhetali Tu Punha’ unveiled with music release
Love stories have always been the success formula for Marathi films, especially when they are about love at first sight. But, what if two youngsters getting attracted towards each other, meet for the second time. This is what is the theme of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bhetali Tu Punha‘, produced by Ganesh Hazare and directed by Chandrakant Kanse.
Trailer of ‘Bhetali Tu Punha‘ film was unveiled along with music release of the film in Mumbai recently. There are total five songs in this film, which are rendered by popular singers Swapnil Bandodkar, Anandi Joshi, Nikhil Modgi and young Siddharth Mahadevan. Music of this film is composed by Chinar- Mahesh, while the title song music is by Vivek Deulkar. The film stars Vaibhav Tatwawdi and Pooja Sawant in the lead and their love story is set on the backdrop of their Mumbai-Goa journey. The film ‘Bhetali Tu Punha‘ is all set to release on 28th July 2017.
