New Marathi film ‘Dharma-The AI Story’ is based on Artificial Intelligence
Our Marathi films are known for ‘out of the box’’ subjects. The forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dharma -The AI Story’, as the name suggests, is based on Artificial Intelligence. Pushkar Jog who is known for offering such different subjects, will be directing this film. This film stars Pushkar Jog, Deepti Lele and Smita Gondkar in lead roles.

‘Hoy Maharaja’ announced on auspicious Gudi Padwa day
New Marathi film Titled as ‘Hoy Maharaja’, aso called family entertainer was launched recently on the auspicious Gudi Padwa day hit the screens. To be made under the banner of LMS Films Pvt. Ltd. this film is directed by Shailesh L. S. Shetty. Popular actor Prathamesh Parab will appear in the lead title role of role ‘Hoy Maharaja’. Since the beginning of his career, Prathamesh has succeeded in entertaining the audience with the varied characters he has portrayed. So there is curiosity about the role Prathamesh will play in this film.
According to the makers, this film falls into the crime-comedy genre and has a unique concept. ‘Hoy Maharaja’ is an exciting story of how an ordinary young man fights for his love. Ankita Lande will be seen along with Prathamesh in this film. Apart from this, Abhijit Chavan, Sandeep Pathak, Vaibhav Mangle, Sameer Chougule will be seen in different roles in this film. The story, screenplay and dialogues of the movie ‘Hoy Maharaja’ have been written by Sanchit Bedre. Lyrics written by Guru Thakur. Music has been composed by Chinar- Mahesh.
First look of ‘Naad’ released on auspicious Gudi Padwa day
The first look of the upcoming Marathi film ‘Naad – The Hard Love’ was released on the occasion of Gudi padwa day. Produced by Shakuntala Creation Production and Jijau Creation Maker, ‘Naad – The Hard Love’ is produced by Sanjay Pagare and Rupesh Dinkar. Prakash Janardan Pawar, who has directed challenging films on various subjects like ‘Mithun‘, ‘Ranjan‘, ‘Baloch‘, has directed this film.
Actor Kiran Gaikwad, who has reached the homes of Maharashtra by playing the title role in the popular small screen Marathi serial ‘Devmanus’, is playing the lead role in the film. In the first look released on the occasion of Gudhi Padwa, Kiran was joined by debutant Sapna Mane and Yashraj Dimble.
According to the makers, This is a perfect love story. The audience will get to see a plot that sheds light on the happenings in the society besides the love story. Regarding the released first look, director Prakash Pawar said that the film ‘Naad – The Hard Love’ is really going to give something different to the audience. The tagline ‘The Hard Love’ speaks volumes.
Santosh Dabholkar and Deepak Pawar have written the story of this movie. Dr. Vinayak Pawar has written the screenplay and dialogues. Apart from this, Vinayak Pawar has also written lyrics for ‘Naad’ with Vaibhav Deshmukh. Music composer Pankaj Padghan has composed the music for these songs. Siddhesh Dalvi has choreographed these songs. DOP Amit Singh has done the cinematography and Satish Chipkar has done the art direction work. Nigar Shaikh has done the costumes and Ramesh Shetty is the casting director.

New Marathi serial ‘Sukh Kalale’ soon on Colors Marathi
After ‘Indrayani’ Colors Marathi TV Channel is getting ready with its new Marathi serial ‘Sukh Kalale’ (सुख कळले) starring Spruha Joshi and Sagar Deshmukh in lead roles. Recently, teaser of this serial was released, showing both Sagar and Spruha walking down the road and Pooja requiring immediate repairs for her sandals and Sagar offering his own chappals to her and walking barefoot carrying in hand Spruha’s broken sandals. This clearly indicating that it will be an interesting story of a middle class family.
This emotion filled teaser has already captured the attention of film lovers and they are curious to know the release date of this serial; which is yet to be announced. But, one thing is sure that both the lead artistes are strong enough to present their respective characters through this serial.

Trailer launch of Marathi & Hindi film ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’
The huge contribution of Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar is known to all during India’s freedom struggle. A Marathi and Hindi film on Savarkar’s life, namely ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ is all set to release on 22nd March 2024 coinciding with Hutatma Day, all over the world. This film presents his interesting journey and struggle for India’s freedom.
Recently, trailer of this film in Marathi version was launched in Fergusson College, Pune, where Veer Savarkar completed his college education. The entire team of the film was present on this occasion including lead actor Randeep Hooda, who plays the title role. Directed by Randeep Hooda, this film is presented by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Legend Studios,Avaak Films, Randeep Hooda Films and Zee Studios and produced by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Yogesh Rahar and Randeep Hooda.

Biopic ‘Swaragandharw Sudhir Phadke’ to release on 1st May
Known for his mesmerising voice and music, legendary Sudhir Phadke was an institution in himself. A biopic on this great personality will be released on Maharashtra Day i.e. 1st May 2024. Recently the teaser of this film was released which highlights his interesting life journey, which projects his personality.
Produced by Saurabh Gadgil and Yogesh Deshpande under the banner of Redefine Productions, this film is directed by Yogesh Deshpande, who has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues of this film. According to the makers, this will be the biggest musical biopic. This film stars Sunil Barve, Adish Vaidya, Sharad Ponkshe,Sagar Talashikar, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Apoorva Modak and Avinash Narkar in lead roles.
Speaking about his film, writer- director Yogesh Deshpande says, “ To make a biopic on a renowned person is not an easy job. You need a deep study about that person. ‘Babuji’ was very popular among music lovers and therefore we tried to get maximum information and unknown details about him from the people who were close to him.”
