Muhurat of ‘Vitthala Shappath’ with song recording
In recent times television has been handling mythology based subjects, with some success through viewer’s support. Even otherwise, Lord Khandoba and Lord Vitthal have always found lot of importance in the scripts of few Marathi films.
Now, Guru Darshan films is coming up with a new marathi film ‘Vitthala Shapath’. The name of film sounds mythological, but the makers insist that the story is far from that. It’s a story about a strong devotee of Vitthal and his fight with society in general. The film does not indulge in special effects as in mythological films, but makers claim that the story is based on logic and science.
‘Vitthala Shappath’ is written and directed by Chandrakant Pawar and he has joined hands with Bhanudas Panmand, for screenplay and with Kaustubh Savarkar for dialogues while music is composed by Chinar-Mahesh. Kruttika Gaikwad, Mangesh Desai, Anuradha Rajadhyaksha, Ketan Pawar, Anshuman Vichare, Uday Sabnis, Vidhyadhar Joshi and Sanjay Khapre will be seen in important roles in the film.
Vitthala Shapath has been launched with a song recording, sung by Swapnil Bandodkar and Anandi Joshi in Mumbai, in the presence of producers Vinayak Kank, Praful Ajmera, Sukesh Sawardekar, John Nadar and co-producers Kutubuddin Dahiwala, Vakoji Patil and Moiz Bhabrawala.

‘Dot Com Mom’ launched with muhurat
The social networking media is nowadays the best source of communication between foreign based children and their parents living in India. Now, Bhoomi entertainment presents ‘Dot Com Mom’ a Marathi film on emotional relationship between a mother and her son. Dr.Meena Nerurkar, who has written the story of this film, will also be acting and directing it.
Recently, muhurat of this film was held in presence of special invitees, followed by the initial shooting schedule at Palghar. According to the makers of this film, 20% of the film’s shooting will be held in Palghar, followed by remaining 80%, which will be held in USA. Incidentally, this is the first Indo American Film, as claimed by the makers.
Veteran music director Ashok Patki will provide music to this film, while the DOP is Vinayak Radhakrishna. The star cast of the film comprise of Vikram Gokhale, Dr.Meena Nerurkar, Sai Gundewar, Vijay Chavan, Prashant Tapasvi, Deepti Lele, Asha Shelar, Ram Kolhatkar, , Abhay Dabhade, Ravindra Khare, Manasi Karandikar & Deven Gabale.
‘सिलसिला अमिताभ का’ ने केला विक्रम
‘बिग बी’ म्हणजेच सर्वांचे आवडते महानायक अमिताभ बच्चन ह्यांच्या चाहत्यांसाठी खास पर्वणी असलेला ‘सिलसिला अमिताभ का’ हा कार्यक्रम नुकताच पुण्यात आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. कार्यक्रमाचे उद्घाटन बाल कलाकार पार्थ भालेराव ह्याच्या हस्ते झाले.
पुण्यातील बालगंधर्व रंगमंदिर येथे, सकाळी ६ ते रात्री १२ अशा १८ तासात १५१ गाण्यांचे सादरीकरण ह्या कार्यक्रमात करण्यात आले. ‘ऑटीझम’ या दुर्मिळ आजाराच्या जागरुकतेसाठी हा विशेष सामाजिक उपक्रमाचे आयोजन संदीप पाटील ह्यांनी केले होते. कार्यक्रमाचे सादरीकरण सुरु असताना लाईव्ह पेंटिंग काढण्यात आली होती ; त्यास १५,५१५ रुपये किमत मिळाली . ती संपूर्ण रक्कम ऑटिझमच्या मुलांसाठी काम करणाऱ्या ‘प्रसन्न ऑटिझम’ शाळेला देण्यात आली.
सदर कार्यक्रमा दरम्यान आमदार गिरीश बापट यांनी सदिच्छा भेट दिली. ह्याच बरोबर अनेक मान्यवर आणि सेलीब्रीटीजने देखील आपली हजेरी लावली ; त्यात अभिनेत्री दिपाली सय्यद ह्यांच्या आपल्या नृत्याचे विशेष सादरीकरण केले. सुमारे ४० पेक्षा अधिक गायक, वादक आणि कलाकार सहभागी असलेल्या, १५ तासात १५१ गाण्यांचे सादरीकरणाच्या ह्या कार्यक्रमाची नोंद ‘लिम्का बुक ऑफ रेकॉर्ड’मध्ये करण्यात येणार आहे.
Sumeet’s debut Marathi film ‘Sandook’ to release on 5th June
For the past few years, Sumeet Raghavan has worked in Marathi theatre and Hindi serials & films, with big artistes. He has a big fan following. Therefore, his forthcoming debut Marathi film ‘Sandook’ has also generated a lot of interest among his well wishers. Now, it remains to be seen, how this film does at the box office? In the meanwhile, the music of this film, was released in a grand way, recently in Mumbai.
Director Atul Kale, whose recent film ‘Balkadu‘ did well at box office, has directed ‘Sandook‘, which is produced by Vishwajeet Gaikwad and Mandar Keni. The film which is a period comedy, is set on the backdrop of 1940 period. Speaking on the occasion, director Atul kale said that for the past 12 years, he has been trying to make the film on this subject and now his dream has come true. For Sumeet Raghvan, this was a special moment, as he had done a film with his childhood friend Atul Kale. Ajit Sameer have provided music of this film, on the lyrics of Guru Thakur. The film stars Sumeet Raghavan, Bhargavi Chirmule, Sharad Ponkshe, Arun Nalawade & Rahul Mehendale in lead roles.
‘Valya to Valmiki’ launched in Karjat
Producers Shrikant Shenoy and Shubhangi Shenoy launched their new Marathi film ‘Valya to Valmiki’ with mahurat, at beautiful natural locations of Karjat, off Mumbai. Story of this film written by Manish Kadam is about a boy called Mauli, who is a victim of circumstances. In his journey in life, he meets different people and his life is changed.
Directed by Sanjay Kasbekar & Pankaj Bhivaji, the film is being made under the banner of Varnan Pictures. The film stars Milind Shinde, Sanjay Khapre, Pankaj Vishnu, Mousami Tondwalkar, Sanjay kasbekar & Master Varun Damodar Baliga.
‘प्रेम रंगी रंगुनी’ लवकरच रंगभुमीवर

श्रीमती संध्या रोठे ह्याची निर्मिती असलेले ह्या नाटकाचे लेखन आनंद म्हसवेकर ह्यांनी केले असून; सुभाष मालेगावकर ह्यांनी संगीत संयोजन केले आहे. अभिनेता अमोल बावडेकर आणि अभिनेत्री दीप्ती भागवत ह्यांच्या ह्यात मुख्य भूमिका आहेत.
First look of ‘Carry on Maratha’ introduce Gashmeer and Kashmira
Till now, we had only heard about their names and their forthcoming film ‘Carry On Maratha’. But, yesterday evening filmmaker Sanjay Londhe raised the curtain, to introduce his lead pair, during the first look of his film ‘Carry On Maratha’ in a club in Mumbai. After doing the formalities of introducing the producers Ms. Nanda Thakur and Ms. Shashikala Kshirsagar , the lead pair of Gashmeer Mahajani and Kashmira Kulkarni gave a fine live performance, to give glimpse of their chemistry, in the intense love story of their film.
Incidentally, the story of this film is about a Maharashtrian boy and a girl from Karnataka, set on the backdrop of Maharashtra Karnataka border. Having assisted reputed directors from Bollywood like Abbas Mastan, Priyadarshan, Ashutosh Govarikar and Nikhil advani, for the last 15 years, director Sanjay Londhe has also engaged bollywood music directors Shail & Pritesh for his film’s music. For film’s cinematography, he has engaged his friend Arun Prasad from South. The other star cast of the film comprise of Arun Nalawade, Devika Daftardar, Usha naik, Shantanu Moghe, Sachin Deshpande, Kishore Chougule and others. The film will be released in July 2015.
‘मराठी बॉक्स क्रिकेट लीग’ मध्ये ‘रत्नागिरी टायगर्स’ ने मारली बाजी
गेले तीन दिवस पाचगणीत सुरू असलेल्या या मराठी सेलिब्रिटींच्या बॉक्स क्रिकेट लीगचा अंतिम सामना रविवारी पार पडला. ह्या सामन्यात ‘रत्नागिरी टायगर्स‘ या संघाने बाजी मारत ‘शिलेदार ठाणे’ संघाचा पराभव केला. ‘रत्नागिरी टायगर्स‘ संघाने प्रथम फलंदाजी करत ४५ धावा काढल्या. त्याचा पाठलाग करताना ‘शिलेदार ठाणे’ संघाचा डाव ३५धावांत आटोपला.
पारितोषिक समारंभाला श्री. नितेश राणे व अभिनेता सचिन पिळगावकर यांची उपस्थिती लाभली. त्याआधी झालेल्या अंतिम सामन्यात ‘रत्नागिरी टायगर्स‘ या संघाने बाजी मारत ‘शिलेदार ठाणे’ संघाचा पराभव केला. सिध्दार्थ जाधव यांना ‘मॅन ऑफ द मॅच’ पुरस्काराने गौरवण्यात आले. ‘मॅन ऑफ द सीरिज’ पुरस्कार नुपूर दुधवडकर यांना देण्यात आला. या लीगमध्ये सहभागी झालेल्या महिला खेळाडूंचा देखील सत्कार ही यावेळी करण्यात आला.
लवकरच या रंगतदार सामन्यांचे प्रक्षेपण वाहिनीवर पहायला मिळणार आहे. ‘मराठी ‘बॉक्स क्रिकेट लीग’ चे आगामी तिसरं पर्व कोल्हापूर मध्ये रंगणार असल्याची घोषणा ही याप्रसंगी करण्यात आली.
Writer Ashok Patole is no more
Writer, director, actor Ashok Patole is no more. He died today morning in Pune, after he succumbed to sudden ailment. His last wish was that he should neither be cremated nor any last rites be performed on his body after his death. Accordingly, after his death today morning , the concerned hospital took away his body, as per his wish for organ donations.
Ashok Patole was a banker who worked in Reserve Bank of India for many years, before he opted for voluntary retirement in 1993 to concentrate on creative writing. By then, he had made a name for himself, in the field of writing. Starting with short stories, he successfully wrote some one-act plays which fetched awards at various drama competitions. ‘Hasrate’ a hindi serial on TV brought him to the limelight. Marathi play ‘Aai Retire Hotey’ written by him was one of the favourite plays, in which late Bhakti Barve had performed.
After writing scripts, screenplay, dialogues for many TV serials and films, he got embroiled in controversy for his play, ‘Ek Chavat Sandhyakal’, for its content . He had also written the screenplay of Mahesh Kothare’s film ‘Zapatlela-2′ released 2 years ago.
