‘Aali Mothi Shahani’ shooting begins in Goa
Few days ago , an official announcement of the film ‘Aali Mothi Shahani’ starring Sarang Sathe and Hruta Durgule was made. Now, the makers of this film have announced that the first shooting schedule of this film has begun in Goa. Presenting a fresh lead pair in the form of Hruta Durgule and Sarang Sathye , it remains to be seen how their on-screen chemistry would impress the audience.
While Hruta is known for aher sweet and impressive performances in the past, Sarang has also made his presence felt through variety of roles in the past. According to writer- director Anand Dilip Gokhale, the shooting of this film is already in progress and his film will offer an entertaining story.At the same time, he is confident that the lead pair of the film will impress the film lovers.
Yashoman and Rumani Khare to make their debut through ‘Lagali Paij’
Marathi theatre is known for offering new subjects and therefore new young talents are getting attracted to Marathi stage. One such Marathi play ‘Lagali Paij’ produced by Prabhat Theatres and directed by Ankur Arun Kakatkar will be staged with its inaugural show at Dinanath Natyagruh on 21st November 2025. This new play stars Yashoman Apte and Rumani Khare in lead roles. Through this play they are making their debut on Marathi stage.
Along with Yashoman and Rumani, the other lead stars of this play are, Supriya Vinod and Shantanu Ambadekar. Sandeep Khare has written the lyrics for this play, with music by Sai- Piyush. Kedar Shinde launches his new film with Zee Studios
After the success of his film ‘Baipan Bhari Devaa’, popular director Kedar Shinde has launched his new film ‘Aga Aga Sunbai ! Kaay Mhantay Sasubai’ together with Zee Studios. Recently, poster of this film was launched on social media, indicating that this film will be released during the new year i.e. on 16th January 2026. Kedar’s daughter Sana Shinde is the producer of this film, which will be her first film as a producer.
The poster of this film shows the back pose of Mother in law and daughter in law together. So, it is difficult to guess, who are playing these lead characters. But, Kedar Shinde says that film will present these two characters in a humorous and emotional way to indicate their strengths. “This is the story of Mother in law and daughter in law in present times.”

Teaser of forthcoming new Marathi film ‘Uttar’ was released recently. The teaser presents the emotion filled story of Mother and son in today’s time. This film produced by Zee Studios and Jackpot Entertainment is directed by writer turned director Kshitij Patwardhan.
In this film versatile actress Renuka Shahane is playing the role of Mother, while Abhinay Berde is playing the son. Hruta Durgule is also playing an important role in this film. Ravi Jadhav and Zee Studios announce ‘Phulwara’
Fifteen years after their super hit film ‘Natarang’, Ravi Jadhav and Zee Studios have come together for their new Marathi film titled ‘Fulwara,’ which is also a tamasha film. This announcement has come on the occasion of Diwali 2025. According to film maker Ravi Jadhav, “The film draws inspiration from the world of the tamasha folk art form and will feature the artists from the ‘Folk Aakhyan’ group. Ravi also stated that the film explores the lives of the artists behind the stage.
The concept and direction of ‘Phulwara’ is by Ravi Jadhav.The story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics are by Ishwar TarabaiAndhare while music is by Harsh- Vijay. This film is produced by Umeshkumar Bansal, Bavesh Janavlekar ( Zee Studios) and Meghana Jadhav ( Athansh Communication). The artistes of this film are not yet disclosed. But, the film will be released during next Diwali.
