Grand Trailer launch of ‘Yek Number’ in presence of celebrities
The trailer of forthcoming much awaited Marathi film ‘Yek Number’ was unveiled in Mumbai in a grand way, in presence of celebrities like Aamir Khan, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Rajkumar Hirani, Sajid Nadiadwala & Abhijat Joshi. And they all came on an invitation from Mr. Raj Thackeray, who was personally present on this occasion, to thank each one of them.
The trailer of this film was full of action with more focus on sound, screenplay dialogues and music to keep the audience engaged to their seats. Music directors of the film Ajay- Atul were also present along with director of the film Rajesh Mapuskar, producers Tejaswini Pandit, Varda Nadiadwala and representatives of presenters of the film Zee Talkies.
When programme anchor Girija Oak questioned each one of the invitees, they all spoke good about this film. Aamir khan wished the team a grand success and expected this film to go worldwide. Mr. Raj Thackeray, as usual entertained the audience with his humour filled speech. He specially thanked Ashutosh Gowarikar and Rajkumar Hirani for their valuable guidance and thanked director Rajesh Mapuskar for successfully completing this film as desired by him. He also appreciated the efforts of Tejaswinini Pandit and lead actor Dhairya Gholap for presenting an unusual story of this film.
The film stars Dhairya Gholap, Sayali Patil, in lead roles along with other popular artistes and revolves around a dynamic youngster who is inspired by the leadership of Mr. Raj Thackeray. He promises his beloved to bring this leader to his village and moves to Mumbai to fulfil his promise. Whether, he succeeds in his mission and whether Mr. Raj Thackeray will be seen in this film, will however be known only on the release date of this film, i.e. 10th October 2024. But, one thing is sure that this film has invited the attention of all Marathi film lovers, as it has a timely message “Mee Maharashtracha, Maharashtra Majha”
Jui Bhagwat says ‘Upload Karun Tak…’ through a song picturised on her
After making her debut on small screen last year through ‘Tumchi Mulgi Kaay Karte‘ last year, young actress Jui Bhagwat is now all set to appear on big screen, through her forthcoming film ‘Like Aani Subscribe’. Recently, the makers of this film Nitin Vaidya Productions, S.N. Productions LLP, Abhishek Merukar Productions have released an unusual song ‘Upload Karun Tak…’ picturised on Jui Bhagwat.
In this song picturised on her, Jui has presented her dance, adventure and acting skills to invite the attention of Marathi filmlovers. Besides Jui Bhagwat, this film also stars Amey Wagh, Amruta Khanvilkar, Shubhankar Tawde & Vitthal Kale in lead roles. Speaking during the release of this song, director Abhishek Merukar says, “ The story of this film revolves around the words Like , share and subscribe; which relate to today’s young generation. But, this film is for all age groups.”
Ashok Saraf to make a comeback to small screen
Versatile actor Ashok Saraf, popularly known as Ashok Mama in Marathi entertainment industry, is making a comeback to small screen through forthcoming Marathi serial ‘Ashok Ma. Ma.'; which will soon be released on Colors Marathi channel. The first look of this TV serial was out recently, generating a lot of curiosity among home viewers. The name plate on his door indicates his name as ‘Ashok Ma. Ma.’ So, that’s his character name in this serial.
The presenters of this serial, haven’t disclosed other details like, co-artistes along with Ashok Saraf and when exactly this serial will be aired? However, they have assured that these details will be revealed shortly. According to lead star Ashok Saraf, this will be an entertaining serial. ” Chinmay Mandlekar has written the story of this serial very effectively. After ‘Tan Tana Tan’ I am making this comeback after a long time and I am enjoying the shooting of this serial.”
‘Ghaath’ to release on 27th September
Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Ghaath’ which was premiered at berlin International Film festival, is now all set for release all over Maharashtra on 27th September 2024. Produced by Shiladitya Bora and few others and directed by Chhatrapal Ninave, ‘Ghaath’ which is set on the backdrop of a village captured by Maoists , presents the the tense situation prevailing among the protagonists , common citizens and Police.

‘Gulaabi’ to unfold the Women’s dream world on 22nd November
Violet Flame Motion Pictures, who are presenting forthcoming Marathi film ‘Gulaabi’ have announced the release date of their film as 22nd November 2024. Directed by Abhyang Kuvalekar this film is produced by Sonali Shivnikar, Sheetal Shanbhag, Abhyang Kuvalekar, Swapnil Bhamre and stars Shruti Marathe, Mrunal Kulkarni & Ashwini Bhave in lead roles. A video of these three actresses deciding their meeting on 22nd December has also been released on social media.
The story of this film revolves around these three friends who come from different backgrounds. According to the makers of this film, it is a different story though it is a women oriented film. Director Abhyang Kuvalekar says that it is an entertaining film and is related to the life of every woman. And, this will inspire others.
‘Hashtag Tadev Lagnam’ to present unusual love story of husband & wife
Shubham Films Productions who are presenting their forthcoming Marathi film ‘Hashtag Tadev Lagnam’, recently released the poster of their film on social media, indicating the release date as 20th December 2024. The unusual poster and unique title of this film, has therefore raised the expectations of the Marathi film lovers.

Teaser of ‘Yek Number’ keeps audience guessing
Teaser of much talked about forthcoming big banner Marathi film ‘Yek Number’ has been released. And it has kept the audience guessing, about the subject of this film.
The teaser begins with a political meeting, where the speaker says, “To all my Hindu brothers, sisters, and mothers gathered.” Hearing this, the strong voices of the people from Maharashtra are seen responding enthusiastically. The next moment, riots and fights are seen, and the faint voice of Thackeray Saheb is heard. So, what do you gather from this teaser? Is it a biography on Balasaheb or inspiration received from his leadership?
‘Yek Number’ is being presented by Zee Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, produced by Sahyadri Films and is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. This film, which will be released on 10th October 2024, has music by Ajay- Atul. Speaking about this film director Rajesh Mapuskar says, “When I heard the story of this film, I thought this is the best opportunity for me to present it in my own way. ‘Phullwanti’ title track released
The much awaited Marathi film ‘Phullwanti’ is getting ready for release on 11th October 2024 in theatres all over Maharashtra. In the meanwhile, the grand title track of this film was released for music lovers. Performing her dance skills in her own style gorgeous actress Prajaktta Mali will be the main attraction of this film.
The title track of the film will therefore present the rich culture of the dance art form of Phulwanti during the Peshwa period. This song which is penned by Vaibhav Joshi, Vishwajeet Joshi & Snehal tarde is rendered by singer Aryaa Ambekar on the music of Avinash Vishwajeet. Cinematography is by Umesh Jadhav, while cinematography is by Mahesh Limaye.
Since this film is a music based historical film more prominence is given to dances and music. Based on Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare’s creation ‘Phulwanti’, the story of this film is written by Pravin Vitthal Tarde and is directed by Snehal Pravin Tarde.
