‘Tujha Majha Break Up’ to be telecast from 18th Sept on Zee Marathi
Subjects of today’s TV Modern day serials are generally connected with the present lifestyle of Maharashtrian people. And, the title of forthcoming Marathi serial ‘Tujha Majha Break Up‘ clearly hints at the rising number of break ups, either before or after marriage among youngsters. Especially, among the young married adults , it leads to divorce. ‘Tujha Majha Break Up‘ actually presents the story of youngsters Sameer and Meera who fall in love with each other from their college days and their friendship turns into love marriage.
While Sameer is a happy go lucky boy from a well to do family, Meera belongs to a typical middle class family. Initially, their love blossoms understanding each other; but after marriage, both try to find faults in each other over petty issues, which results in break up. However, after separation for a year, both start liking each other and there is scope of their reunion. Based on the story of Shekhar Dhavklikar , the screenplay is written by Chinmay Mandlekar, while dialogues are penned by Mugdha Godbole. The lead pair is played by Sayankit Kamat and Ketaki Chitale in the company of versatile artistes like Rohini Hattangadi, Uday Tikekar, Vijay Nikam, Radhika Harshe, Sanyogita Bhave, Reshma Ramchandra, Umesh Jagtap & Madhugandha Kulkarni.
Directed by Hemant Deodhar, this serial will be telecast on Zee Marathi from September 18th between Monday to Saturday at 8.30 pm.
Amol Kolhe to portray Sambhaji Raja on small screen
Known for his memorable role of Raja Shivaji in the past serial ‘Raja Shiv Chhatrapati‘, Amol Kolhe is now all set to portray the character of Sambhaji Raja in forthcoming history based Marathi serial ‘Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji‘. This serial will go on air on Zee Marathi channel , with inaugural 2 hour long episode to be telecast at 7 pm onwards on 24th September 2017. Thereafter from 25th September onwards, this serial will be telecast from Monday to Saturday at prime time 9:00 pm on the same channel and also on Zee Marathi HD.
Mr. Nilesh Mayekar Zee Marathi Business head made this official announcement recently, at a special function to introduce Dr.Amol Kolhe in the get up of Sambhaji Raje. It will be interesting to watch this serial, as not many are aware of his bravery and success achieved by Sambhaji Raje during his rule for 9 years. Produced by Pinku Biswas and directed by Kartik Kendhe , this serial also stars Pratiksha Lonkar in the role of Jijamata, Shantanu Moghe as Raja Shiv Chhatrapati and Amit Bahl as Aurangajeb. Camera by Nirmal Jani and action by Ravi Diwan are the other credits.
Mukta Barve grabs all the attention in ongoing TV serial ‘Rudram’
Many a times the selection of a particular artiste for an important role makes a big difference in popularizing a TV serial. And, if that artiste is a popular star, the viewership of the serial certainly goes up. At present, popular actress Mukta Barve is grabbing all the attention in Zee Yuva‘s ongoing suspense filled TV serial ‘Rudram‘. Playing the role of Ragini, a young widow who has lost her family except her mother in a car accident, Mukta perfectly fits into the character of an angry young woman.
But, what is important is that the character penned by the writer Girish Jayant Joshi is tailor made for talented actress like Mukta and she has given full justice to that character in few initial episodes telecast so far, since its beginning three weeks ago. In every scene she appeared, she seemed totally involved into this character of Ragini, who doesn’t think anything else than revenge against all those evil people, behind the murder of her family members. Girish Jayant Joshi who has written the story has also penned the screenplay and dialogues of this serial directed by Bhimrao Mude.
Besides Mukta Barve, there are renowned artistes like Dr.Mohan Agashe, Vandana Gupte, Mitali Jagtap, Sandeep Pathak, Sagar Talashikar and above all Suhas Palshikar in equally important roles. Looking at the instant popularity of ‘Rudram‘ serial, the makers had telecast 3 hours special show, covering all the past happenings on 27th August 2017 and that gave an impression of a suspense filled murder mystery. However, when we watch a particular episode, we find very little happenings in that half an hour long episode, with commercial breaks. Why can’t the makers think of playing one hour long episode? Even otherwise, this serial is limited to 60 episodes and some more actors like Kiran Karmarkar are yet to appear.

‘Jadubai Jorat’ to capture afternoon TV Viewers
There has been a big competition to capture the attention of television viewers during prime time. But, when these serials are played in repeat telecast during afternoòn hours they also find good viewership. Staring veteran actresses Nirmiti Sawant and Kishori Shahane in lead roles, this serial presents the story of a middle class woman Jai and her fitness lover neighbour Mallika.
