Fakta Marathi channel to present Ashok Saraf Film Festival
Known for his perfect timing for comedy, actor Ashok Saraf has entertained Marathi and Hindi film lovers for almost more than four decades. Apart from comedy, he has also performed negative and variety of character roles till date. Fakta Marathi channel, which has been offering variety to home viewers, will be presenting Film festival of Ashok Saraf films next week.
From Monday 22nd May 2017, they will be presenting one film of this comedy King Ashok Saraf daily at prime time 7 pm. The films which will be shown between 22nd and 27th May , daily at 7 pm. The names of these films are, ‘ Aamchyasarkhe Aamhich’,’Aabaa Zindabad’,’Gammat Jammat’,’ Galli Te Delhi’,’Bhannat Bhanu’,’ & ‘Most Wanted’.

Zee Marathi’s New Serial ‘Lagira Jhala Ji’ – will be a tribute to Brave soldiers
Maharashtra is a land of brave soldiers, who have fought for India’s freedom. Therefore, all parents feel that their child should be another Shivaji. Satara district in Maharashtra is known for offering brave soldiers to Indian Army. One such village in Satara district is Chandavadi village. Set on the backdrop of this village is the story of new serial ‘Lagira Jhala Ji’, which will be aired on Zee Marathi channel from Monday 1st May 2017.
The lead hero of this serial Ajinkya has been brought up by his maternal uncle and aunty, after the sad demise of his parents during his childhood days. Ajinkya’s only ambition is to join Indian Army and serve his nation. But, his uncle and aunty are against his wish, as they want Ajinkya to live with them and marry their daughter Jayashree. But, there comes another girl Sheetal in his life from the same village. Initially, they don’t get along well with each other. But, they soon fall in love with each other. This serial presents the story of their love.
The serial stars Nitish Chavan in the role of Ajinkya, while Shivani Baokar plays Sheetal. Most of the artistes of this serial are locals. Directed by Sanjay Kamble, the serial is produced by Shweta Shinde and Sanjay kamble.
Zee Yuva to present Ruta Durgule in ‘Fulpakharu’
Zee Yuva channel offering entertainment with a difference, with variety of serials like ‘Bun Maska’, ‘Freshers’, ‘Love lagna Locha’, ‘Ithech Taka Tambu’,’ Shravanbal’, ‘Yuvagiri’, ‘Shaurya’ and latest programmes like ‘Prem He’ and’Sargam’. Their sincere effort has been to offer something new to the viewers. Frankly speaking, these programs don’t offer routine style of entertainment.
Now, Zee Yuva have now offered their new serial ‘Fulpakharu’ and the promo of this serial has become popular on social networking sites among youngsters. The lead character of Vaidehi around whom the story revolves, is played by actress Ruta Durgule. In this part is not known who is love with Vaidehi, but, according to makers of this serial, this suspense will be revealed through the next few episodes of this film. The serial has been aired from 24th April 2017 and is being shown at prime time 7.20 pm from Monday to Friday.
New TV show ‘Toofan Aalaya’ to fight drought situation
Fighting draught situation has always been a big challenge before the Government & administration, especially at some villages in Maharashtra. But, today more and more experts are coming forward through the efforts of NGO’s to fight this grave situation. PAANI Foundation is one of them, founded by actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran along with Satyajit Bhatkal & Dr. Avinash Pol to tackle this situation with their Water Cup project. Maharashtra Government also came forward with their support, when last year a competition was organized in three Talukas of Maharashtra,covering 116 villages.
Now, from 8 April every Saturday at 9.30 pm, Zee Marathi will present a show to cover this competition , involving many Marathi celebrities in pairs , who will lead some of the regions. Prominent among them are, Girish Kulkarni & Pratiksha Lonkar, Sunil Barve & Sai Tamhankar,Bharat Ganeshpure & Anita Date. The show will be anchored by Jitendra Joshi and will run for eight weeks, offering prizes of Rs.50 Lakhs, 30 Lakhs & 20 Lakhs respectively.
Fakta Marathi channel to celebrate ‘Fool to April Fool’ Dhamaka
April Fools’ Day , which is also called All Fools’ Day, is celebrated every year on April 1, when people play practical jokes or spread hoaxes. The jokes and the victims who are fooled are called April fools. Keeping this humour in mind, Fakta Marathi channel will be celebrating the week starting from 1st April to 7th April 2017, with the theme ‘Fool to April Fool’ Dhamaka.
During this period, every day at 11 am entertaining films will be presented for the fun loving home viewers. The names of these films are, ‘Topi Ghal Re’, ‘Galli Te Dilhi’, ‘Ena Meena Dika’, ‘Sali Ne Kela Ghotala’, ‘Buundalbaaz’, ‘Dum Dum Diga Diga’ & ‘Dhumakul’. Fakta Marathi channel has always been offering variety through different types of films shown on their channel. Now, on the occasion of Women’s day scheduled on 8th March, Fakta Marathi channel is all set to salute the women power by presenting women oriented films between the period 4th March and 10th March 2017.

‘Prem He’ on Zee Yuva from 27th February
Love has no barrier of language, caste or religion. It is just an emotion, around which the life of young lovers keeps revolving. From 27th February every Monday and Tuesday at 9 pm prime time, starts a new serial on this subject suitably titled ‘Prem He’. But, this love story has rural backdrop, to show how love is expressed in this region.
The story of ‘Prem He‘ serial revolves around Sunil and Radhika played by lead pair Vaibbhav Tatwawdi and Tejashree Pradhan. The first story of this serial is ‘Ruperi Valut’ which also has a song with the same title blossoming their love. The story is written by Sachin Tadakhe and the direction is by Santosh Manjrekar. The music of this serial is by Nilesh Moharir, with Hrishikesh Ranade and Ketaki Mategaonkar rendering their voices for the title song.
‘Dil Dosti…’ stars to return with ‘Dil Dosti Dobara’
The popular serial ‘Dil Dosti Duniyadari’ is still fresh in the memory of many home viewers and the young artistes from this serial were missed by many of them for past several months. But, the wait is over for them now. Ashu, Sujay,Kaivalya, Meenal, Reshma and Aana will be returning to entertain their fans once again through new serial on Zee Marathi, suitably titled ‘Dil Dostii Dobara’. However, this time, they will play new characters Sahil,Gaurav, Papya, Mukta, Anandi & Pari.
So, Amey Wagh, Pushkaraj Chirputkar,Suvrat Joshi, Pooja Thombre, Sakhi Gokhale & Swanandi Tikekar are all set to return on 18th18th February at 10.30 pm , when the home viewers will witness their new journey of ‘Khayali Pulaav Restaurant’ . This new season of ‘Dosti…’ will be produced by Santosh kanekar under the banner of his Atharva Theatres and it will be director by Adwait Dadarkar and Swapnil Murkar.
