Urmila Nmbalkar is a popular Marathi television actress for the past ten years who has also worked on Hindi television. But, in the recent past she has attained more popularity as a Youtuber. Today, she is the first actress from Marathi entertainment industry to be fashion influencer on youtube. Her subscribers on social media have reached 9.5 lakhs and is working with international brands.

Urmila started her Youtube channel in 2018 on the occasion of Gudhi Padwa. For the first two years she didn’t receive much response. But, when she focussed on technical issues and uncovered topics like Fashion, make –up and skin care, she started getting very good response. Soon, she launched Podcast show on Storytel audiobook app.

Speaking about her progress, Urmila says,  “I am thankful to Marathi viewers of Youtube. If you work hard and present what the people want, there is a good money received on youtube.”
