Rutwikk Kendre opts for South films
Rutwikk Kendre who began his acting career on small screen with ‘Manasicha Chitrakar’ later made his presence felt in Marathi stage and films. Only last month his film ‘Dry Day’ was released. Rutwik is presently shooting for his next film ‘Sargam’ But, besides this Marathi film, Rutwik who is the son of Marathi plays’ director Waman Kendre, is also opting for South films. According to reliable sources close to him, Rutwik is all set to make his debut in south films.
Rutwik is working very hard for his entry in south films. He is also being trained in martial arts, besides looking well after his fitness. Till now, no details are available about this film’s title etc. But, one thing is sure that his admirers are keen to know more about this film. Having received training at home since his childhood , Rutwik looks very confident while moving in all the three fields of acting, i.e. cinema, television and stage.
4 Marathi films to compete with each other this week
Simultaneous release of four Marathi films is not new to Marathi film industry, which has witnessed as many as five to six films released on the same day. This week will witness four Marathi films namely, ‘Lathe Joshi‘, ‘Dry Day‘, ‘Mithun‘ and ‘Ipitar‘. Known for their unusual subjects, Marathi films are also watched by many non Marathi film lovers. Among these four films, ‘Dry Day‘ has managed maximum theatre screens in Mumbai & other parts of Maharashtra, while ‘Farzand‘ which is in its 7th week , is still running in about 23 cinema halls in Mumbai and Thane regions So, it remains to be seen, which film would attract crowds at the cinema halls.By the way, three more Marathi films are set for release simultaneously, next Friday.
‘Lathe Joshi‘ as indicated through its title, is about a person working on Lathe machine and not ready to accept the change in technology. Whereas his son who is into hardware engineering has a different view. The film stars Chittaranjan Giri, Ashwini Giri & Om Bhutkar. The film is directed by Mangesh Joshi, who has already received compliments from many known personalities from Marathi film industry, for handling this subject.
The second film ‘Dry Day‘ is about a break up between Ajay and his girlfriend and how his friends help him to overcome the depression. Written and directed by Pandurang Jadhav the film stars Rutwik Kendre, Monalisa Bagal and Kailash Waghmare in lead roles. Now, talking about the other two films, ‘Mithun‘ is a coming of age love story, ‘Ipitar‘ presents the tale of three mischievous collegians who always run into trouble and are underestimated by their parents. ‘Mithun‘ is directed by Prakash Janardhan Pawar and stars Vishal Nikam, Amruta Dhongde, Jayant Wadkar & Sanjay Khapre, while ‘Ipitar‘ directed Datta Tarde stars Bharat Ganeshpure, Milind Shinde, Prakash Dhotre, Vijay Gite and others.

Songs of Marathi films have always turned out to be a successful formula in making the film hit. But, for that you need good meaningful lyrics and good music. Some of the old Marathi poems penned by well known poets are still on the lips of Marathi language lovers. And one of them is the poem ‘Gori Gori Paan, Phulasarkhi Chhaan...’. There were many albums of children’s music, where this song finds its place.
Now, in the forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dry Day‘ you will find the remix of this song among the other songs composed by music director Ashwin Srinivasan. Besides this song another song which is romantic song ‘Ashi kasha..‘ is also popularising among the listeners on radio and social networking sites, especially the young generation. ‘Dry Day‘ is getting ready for release all over Maharashtra in July 2018. ‘Dry Day’ music launched in presence of Vishal Bharadwaj
Anand Sagar production House Pvt. Ltd. Presented and Pandurang Jadhav directed Marathi film ‘Dry Day‘ is getting ready for release. Recently, music of this film was launched at Kohinoor Hotel, Andheri, at the hands of well Known music director and Bollywood film maker Vishal Bharadwaj. Produced by Sanjay Patil with music by Ashwin Srinivasan, the two songs of this film, rendered by popular singers like Jonita Gandhi & Ash King and Vishal Dadlani were released on this occasion.
The songs of ‘Dry Day‘ film are expected to popularize among young generation. The film’s story which revolves around youngsters is written by director Pandurang Jadhav himself, with screenplay and dialogues by Nitin Dixit. DOP Nagraj Divakar has captured the film through his camera. जोनिता गांधी, अॅश किंग यांनी ‘ड्राय डे’ चित्रपटासाठी गायलं ड्युएट गाणं
गेल्या काही वर्षांत मराठी चित्रपटांततली गाणी बॉलिवूडमधील गायक गात असल्याचं सातत्यानं दिसू लागलं आहे. हा ट्रेंड आता वाढत असल्याचं पहायला मिळत आहे. वेगळ्या नावामुळे अवघ्या महाराष्ट्रात चर्चेत असलेल्या ‘ड्राय डे‘ या चित्रपटासाठी जोनिता गांधी आणि अॅश किंग या मातब्बर गायकांनी ड्युएट गायलं आहे. या चित्रपटातून या दोघांनी मराठीत पदार्पण केलं आहे.
आनंद सागर प्रॉडक्शन्सच्या संजय पाटील यांनी चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली आहे. तर, ऑस्कर विजेत्या ए. आर. रेहमान यांचे सहकारी असलेल्या अश्विन श्रीनिवासन यांनी चित्रपटाचं संगीत दिग्दर्शन केलं आहे. या चित्रपटाद्वारे अश्विन यांचाही मराठी चित्रपट संगीतातला प्रवास सुरू झाला आहे. जोनिता आणि अॅश यांनी जय अत्रे लिखित ‘गार गार कोळशात उठावी ही आग कशी‘ हे ड्युएट गाणं गायलं आहे. पांडुरंग जाधव यांनी या चित्रपटाचं दिग्दर्शन केलं असून येत्या ८ सप्टेंबरला हा चित्रपट प्रदर्शित होत आहे.
हिंदी आणि दाक्षिणात्य चित्रपटांमध्ये जोनिता गांधी हे मोठं नाव आहे. जोतिनानं ओके कन्मनी चित्रपटातलं मेंटल मनधिल, दंगल चित्रपटातलं ‘गिलहारियाँ‘, हायवे चित्रपटातलं ‘कहाँ हुँ मैं‘ अशी गाजलेली गाणी गायली आहेत. तर अॅश किंगनं ‘आएशा सुनो आएशा‘, हाफ गर्लफ्रेंड चित्रपटातलं ‘बारिश‘, ऐ दिल है मुश्किल चित्रपटातलं ‘अलीझेह‘ अशी गाणी गायली आहेत.
