Most awaited ‘Follower’ to be released on 21st March
The most awaited Marathi film ‘Follower’ which was premiered at the prestigious Rotterdam International film festival, is now all set to release on 21st March 2025. Recently, the poster of this film was released on social media. This film will throw light on the Belgaum border issue and will be a story of three friends which has a unique combination of Marathi, Kannada and Hindi languages together. This film will be released in Maharashtra, Belgaum and Bengaluru simultaneously.
Produced by a big group of eight producers and three co producers this film is written and directed by Harshad Nalawade. Besides being one of the producers and director Harshad has also played the lead role in this film along with other artistes like Raghu Basarimarad and Dona Munshi. Cinematography by Saket Gyani, editing by Maulik Sharma, lyrics and playback singer Samyak Singh and music byAbhigyan Arora are the other credits of this film.
Rajdutt releases poster of ‘April May 99′
93 year old renowned director of Marathi films Rajdutt recently released the poster of forthcoming Marathi film ‘April May 99′. This film is being made by two brothers Rajesh Mapuskar and Rohan Mapuskar, who have come together for the first time to make this film. We are all aware that Rajesh and Rohan have already established themselves in Hindi film industry with their work. Now, their coming together for a Marathi film has generated a lot of curiosity among the filmlovers.
This film which is all set for release on 16th May 2025 coinciding with summer vacation, talks about friendship and dreams of youth and will connect with their memories during summer vacation. The poster of this film shows four youngsters with their bicycles on the backdrop of the blue sky. Speaking on this occasion of poster release, writer–director Rohan Mapuskar said that it was their privilege to have respected Rajdutt ji, as chief guest; because during their childhood, they watched all films of Rajdutt ji in their mini theatre at Srivardhan.
Pushkar Jog releases romantic song ‘O Bavari’ from ‘Hardik Shubhechcha’

Title poster of new Marathi film ‘Aata Thambaycha Naay’ produced jointly by Zee Studios, Chalk & Cheese Films and Fil Jazz was recently. Zee Studios Marathi section Business Head Bavesh Janvalkar made official announcement of this film. This film will be directed by actor Shivraj Waichal.
Based on an inspiring true story, this film stars Bharat Jadhav, Siddharth Jadhav, Om Bhutkar, Shrikant Yadav, Parn Pethe, Praveenkumar Dalimbkar, Prajakta Hanamghar, Kiran Khoje in lead roles.
