सुबोध भावे लिखित ‘पुष्पक विमान’ येत्या ३ ऑगस्टला प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला
वर्षाच्या सुरुवातीला ह्या वर्षात ये रे ये रे पैसा, गुलाबजाम आणि न्यूड सारखे चित्रपट देणाऱ्या झी स्टुडिओज् ची प्रस्तुती असलेल्या सुबोध भावे लिखित आणि वैभव चिंचाळकर दिग्दर्शित चित्रपट ‘पुष्पक विमान‘, ३ ऑगस्टला प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीसाठी सज्ज झाला असून या चित्रपटाच्या निमित्ताने सुबोध भावे आणि मोहन जोशी हे कलाकार रुपेरी पडद्यावर एकत्र झळकणार आहेत. तसेच अभिनेत्री गौरी किरण या चित्रपटाच्या निमित्ताने मराठी चित्रपटसृष्टीत अभिनय क्षेत्रात पदार्पण करत आहेत हे विशेष. या चित्रपटाची पत्रकार परिषद नुकतीच पुण्यात पार पडली यावेळी चित्रपटातील सर्व कलाकार, झी स्टुडिओज् चे शारिक पटेल, मंगेश कुलकर्णी उपस्थित होते.
मंजिरी सुबोध भावे, अरुण जोशी, मीनल श्रीपत इंदुलकर, सुनिल फडतरे आणि वर्षा पाटील यांनी चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली असून झी स्टुडिओज् ची प्रस्तुती आहे. चित्रपटातील संवाद आणि पटकथा चेतन सैंदाणे यांचे असून, कथा सुबोध भावे यांची आहे. पटकथा व दिग्दर्शन वैभव रा. चिंचाळकर यांचे आहे. चित्रपटाचं संकलन केलंय आशिष म्हात्रे आणि अपूर्वा मोतीवाले सहाय यांनी. संतोष फुटाणे यांचे कला दिग्दर्शन असून चित्रपटाला संतोष मुळेकरयांचे पार्श्वसंगीत आहे. नरेंद्र भिडे आणि संतोष मुळेकर यांची संगीतबद्ध केली असून शौनक अभिषेकी, आनंद भाटे, जयतीर्थ मेवुंडी, विनय मांडके आणिनकाश अझीझ यांनी स्वरबद्ध केली आहेत तर समीर सामंत आणि चेतन सैंदाणे यांनी शब्दबद्ध केली आहेत. कार्यकारी निर्मात्याची धुरा रत्नकांत जगताप यांनी सांभाळली आहे.
‘Adam Tadam’ wins ‘E Natyashodh’ one act play competition
The second ‘E – Natyashodh Multilingual One Act Play competition‘ was dominated by Marathi plays. The first prize was won by ‘Adam Tadam‘ presented by Dombivali’s Swami Natyagan and written- directed by Rajesh Shinde, while the second prize was won by ‘Anaesthesia‘ written by Dr. Chandrashekhar and directed by Srinivas Narvekar. The special Jury award went to Bangalore’s Hindi play ‘Panchi‘, while the Critics award went to Marathi one act play ‘Dehasakta‘ directed by Nashik’s Poonam Patil.
The competition was held in four languages, Marathi, English, Hindi and Gujarathi and 24 entries were technically eligible out of which 9 one act plays were shortlisted for the final round. According to Ravi Mishra , head of Astitva, the intention of this competition is to preserve the one act plays and to enlighten the new generation with the technical aspects.
4 Marathi films to compete with each other this week
Simultaneous release of four Marathi films is not new to Marathi film industry, which has witnessed as many as five to six films released on the same day. This week will witness four Marathi films namely, ‘Lathe Joshi‘, ‘Dry Day‘, ‘Mithun‘ and ‘Ipitar‘. Known for their unusual subjects, Marathi films are also watched by many non Marathi film lovers. Among these four films, ‘Dry Day‘ has managed maximum theatre screens in Mumbai & other parts of Maharashtra, while ‘Farzand‘ which is in its 7th week , is still running in about 23 cinema halls in Mumbai and Thane regions So, it remains to be seen, which film would attract crowds at the cinema halls.By the way, three more Marathi films are set for release simultaneously, next Friday.
‘Lathe Joshi‘ as indicated through its title, is about a person working on Lathe machine and not ready to accept the change in technology. Whereas his son who is into hardware engineering has a different view. The film stars Chittaranjan Giri, Ashwini Giri & Om Bhutkar. The film is directed by Mangesh Joshi, who has already received compliments from many known personalities from Marathi film industry, for handling this subject.
The second film ‘Dry Day‘ is about a break up between Ajay and his girlfriend and how his friends help him to overcome the depression. Written and directed by Pandurang Jadhav the film stars Rutwik Kendre, Monalisa Bagal and Kailash Waghmare in lead roles. Now, talking about the other two films, ‘Mithun‘ is a coming of age love story, ‘Ipitar‘ presents the tale of three mischievous collegians who always run into trouble and are underestimated by their parents. ‘Mithun‘ is directed by Prakash Janardhan Pawar and stars Vishal Nikam, Amruta Dhongde, Jayant Wadkar & Sanjay Khapre, while ‘Ipitar‘ directed Datta Tarde stars Bharat Ganeshpure, Milind Shinde, Prakash Dhotre, Vijay Gite and others.
First look of ‘Aakrandan’ unveiled
Atrocities on women are on the rise in our country, who have become target of sexual abuse. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Aakrandan‘ will not only highlight such crimes, but will also remind one and all about their social responsibility to stop such crimes. The first look of this film was unveiled recently at the hands of Mr. Ramdas Atrhavale, Minister of Social Justice, Government of India, in presence of dignitaries like Rajkumar santoshi, Al Haj Hajrat Zahid Hussain Chisti and others. The film will be released all over Maharashtra on 7th September 2018.
Produced by Govind Aher and presented by Vivek Pandit this film is written and directed by Shashikant Deshpande , who has also written the screenplay and dialogues along with Milind Inamdar. The strong star cast of this film comprises of Upendra Limaye, Sharad Ponkshe, Milind Inamdar, Ganesh Yadav, Bal Dhuri along with Vikram Gokhale, Smita Talwalkar, Amita Khopkar, Pradeep velankar, Uday Tikekar, Bharat Ganeshpure, Tejashree Pradhan, Vilas Ujavane, Pallavi Wagh & Sneha Biranje. Cinematography by Damodar Naidu and editing by Manoj Sankla are the other credits.
‘Kay Zala Kalana’ to present newcomers Swapnil-Girija on 20th July
Swapnil and Girija are popular names in Marathi film industry. But now, newcomers Swapnil Kale and Girija Prabhu are also joining this Marathi film industry through their debut film ‘Kay Zala Kalana‘ , which is all set to release on 20th July 2018. Produced by Pankaj Gupta under the banner of Shree Dhanalaxmi Productions this film based on a love story is directed by Suchita Shabbir. According to the director, the story of ‘Kay Zala Kalana‘ film demanded young collegians and the new lead pair perfectly suited in their requirement. They are playing the characters of Sharya and Pallavi in this film.
Director Suchita has herself written the story of this film, with screenplay written by Kiran Kulkarni and Pallavi karkera. The dialogues are also penned by Suchita along with Rahul More. Besides Swapnil and Girija, the film also stars Arun Nalwade, Sanjay Khapre, Vandana vaknis, Kalpana Jagtap, Shraddha Surve, Hemali karekar, Suyash Jhunjharke, Ravi Phaltankar in supporting lead roles. With prominent singers having rendered the songs in this film, the music is provided by Pankaj Padghan. Editing by Rajesh Rao and cinematography by Suresh Deshmane are the other credits.
‘परी हुँ मैं’ या मराठी चित्रपटातून ग्लॅमरस विश्वाची सफर
टिव्ही जगताच्या ग्लॅमरस आणि टीआरपीच्या विश्वाची सफर घडवणारा ‘परी हुँ मै‘ हा मराठी चित्रपट लवकरच प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येत आहे. स्वरूप रिक्रीएशन्स अँड मिडिया प्रा. लि. प्रस्तुत आणि योगायतन फिल्मस निर्मित ‘परी हुँ मैं‘ या चित्रपटाची निर्मिती डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रताप सिंग आणि शिला सिंग यांनी केली असून संजय गुजर हे चित्रपटाचे सहनिर्माते आहेत तर रोहित दास शिलवंत यांनी चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन केले आहे. चंदेरी दुनियेचा हाच विषय लेखिका इरावती कर्णिक यांनी ‘वेगे वेगे धावू‘ या एकांकिकेमधून मांडला होता, त्यावर आधारीत हा चित्रपट आहे. आधी एकांकिका, मग दीर्घांक म्हणूनही याचे सादरीकरण झाले असून त्याचे दिग्दर्शनही रोहित दास शिलवंत यांनीच केले होते.
अभिनेते नंदू माधव, देविका दफ्तरदार, श्रुती निगडे, फ्लोरा सैनी यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका असलेल्या ‘परी हुँ मै‘ या चित्रपटाची पटकथा मच्छिंद्र बुगडे, रोहित दास शिलवंत आणि संकेत माने यांची असून संवाद योगेश मार्कंडे यांचे आहेत. अभिषेक खणकर आणि सचिन पाठक यांच्या गीतांना संगीतकार समीर सप्तीसकर यांनी स्वरबद्ध केले तर शंकर महादेवन, अमृता फडणवीस, जिया वाडकर आणि मंदार पिलवळकर यांचा आवाज गीतांना लाभला आहे. चित्रपटाला पार्श्वसंगीत अनुराग गोडबोले यांनी दिले आहे, तर संकलन नितीन राठोड, कलादिग्दर्शन नरेंद्र भगत, डीओपी रोहन मडकइकर आणि प्रोजेक्ट हेड भूषण सावळे, हर्षदा सावे आहेत. अत्यंत हटके विषयामुळे चर्चेत असलेला ‘परी हुँ मैं‘ येत्या ७ सप्टेंबर रोजी संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात प्रदर्शित होणार आहे.
Music of forthcoming film ‘Be Eke Be’ unveiled
The music of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Be Eke Be‘ was unveiled in Mumbai recently. Present on the occasion were the producers Vikas Bhageria, Poornima Vawhal-Yadav, Mahendra Kabra and Anita Maheshwari of Hema Foundation, Director Sanchit Yadav, Music director Vilas Gurav, Singers Hrishikesh Ranade, Sagar Sawarkar, Rahul Suhas. Jeetendra Singh, actors Sanjay Khapre, Santosh Ambre and other dignitaries from the Marathi film fraternity.
The film talks about the state of education and the attitude of society. Sanchit Yadav has not only directed the film but also written the story as well as the screenplay too. In all, there are five songs in the film. Out of these, the prayer song Yam Vaidika Mantra and the song ‘Janseva Hi Ishwar Bhakti‘ are rendered by Hrishikesh Ranade. Sagar Sawarkar has sung the song ‘Kaav Kaav Chiv Chiv‘ and ‘Hututucha Khel‘ , which is about the sports of Hututu. All the three songs have been penned by Sanchit Yadav. The powada is penned by Abhijeet Kulkarni has been sung by Rahul Suhas. Abhijeet Kulkarni has also penned the title track which has been crooned by Jitendra Singh. All the five songs have been composed by music director Vilas Gurav.
The story of ‘Be Eke Be‘ revolves around a teacher who imparts knowledge selflessly to his students. It talks about the travails of a teacher who chooses to spread his knowledge honestly. According to Director Sanchit Yadav, the story of the film is very realistic and he has tried to infuse color into it with lyrics and music.
The key roles in this film are played by Sanjay Khapre, Jaywant Wadjkar, Sanchit Yadav, Poornima Wavhal Yadav, Santrosh Ambre, Atul Merchande, Arun Nalawade along with big team of child artistes like Saahil Sitare, Pratham Sitare, Vaidehi Ovhal, Snehal Bhatade, Sagar Gurav, Sanchit Nirmale, Parth Deshpande, Arthav Kharvarkar, Sairaj Kametkar, Swapna Jadhav, Samisha Slape, Prachi Mestry, Pooja Photfade, Neha Pawaskar, Avishkar Shetye etc. Dialogues by Abhijeet Kulkarni, choreography by Santosh Ambre and camera work by Atul Jhagdale are the other credits.
Shital Upare is also member of ‘Monsoon Football’ team
Miss india heritage International Shital Upare who made her acting debut through Marathi film ‘IPL- Indian Premacha Lafada‘ four years ago, is making a comeback through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Monsoon Football‘ directed by Milind Uke, who had directed Hindi film ‘Pathshala‘ in the past. Incidentally, Shital was busy with her modeling assignments besides doing a film from South.
Shital Upare herself has made announcement about being a member of the ‘Monsoon Football‘ team, in which she plays the role of Babli a housewife who is passionate about the game of football like her other housewives played by ‘Chak De India‘ fame Sagarika Ghatge, Vidya Malavade & Chitrashi Rawat. Award winning ‘Halal‘ fame actress Pritam kagne is also part of this film in parallel role.
