मुंबापुरी प्रॉडक्शन निर्मित, उर्मिला मातोंडकर प्रस्तुत, स्वप्ना वाघमारे जोशी दिग्दर्शित आणि सोनाली कुलकर्णीची प्रमुख भूमिका असलेल्या ‘माधुरी‘ या चित्रपटात ट्रेलर नुकताच प्रदर्शित करण्यात आला.
ट्रेलरमध्ये पाहायला मिळते की सोनाली कुलकर्णी एका तरुणीची भूमिका साकारत असून सध्या तरुण पिढीवर उद्भवणारे अनेक चांगले आणि वाईट प्रसंग आणि त्या प्रसंगांना त्यांनी कसे सामोरे जाऊन त्याचे कशाप्रकारे निरसन करू शकतो ह्याचे प्रदर्शन ट्रेलर मध्ये होत आहे. सोनालीसोबत शरद केळकर, संहिता जोशी, अक्षय केळकर आणि विराजस कुलकर्णी यांनी साकारलेल्या पात्रांची झलक देखील ट्रेलरमध्ये पाहू शकतो.
मुंबापुरी प्रॉडक्शन आणि मोहसिन अख्तर यांचा पहिला मराठी चित्रपट ‘माधुरी‘, सोनाली कुलकर्णीचा हटके लूक, संपूर्ण स्टारकास्टचा तगडा अभिनय या सगळ्या गोष्टीने परिपूर्ण असा ‘माधुरी‘ चित्रपट ३० नोव्हेंबर रोजी प्रदर्शित होत आहे.
The title of the film ‘Sarva Line Vyasta Aahet’ is very familiar with our daily life, while using the phone. And therefore, the a Marathi film with this title has certainly raised curiosity among film lovers. Recently, music of this film was released in presence of some of the artistes from this film along with music director Pankaj Padghan , choreographer Umesh Jadhav, Dilip Mestry, editor Ashish Mhatre and DOP Sameer Athlye. There are total five songs in this film.
Presented by Amol Utekar, produced by Stelaria Studio and directed by Raghunath Mestry the film stars Mahesh Manjrekar, Siddharth Jadhav, Saurabh Gokhale, Sanskruti Balgude, Smita Shewale, Hemangi Kavi, Neetha Shetty Salvi, Kamlakar Satpute, Madhavi Soman, Priyanka Mungekar, Sandhya Kunte, Satish Agashe, Shivaji Redkar, Hitesh Sampat & Gaurav More. Screenplay and dialogues by Ganesh Pandit Shripad Joshi and lyrics by Shrikant Bojewar are the other credits of this film, which will be released early next year on 11th January 2019.
Actor Priyadarshan Jadhav, Marathi movie ‘Majhya Baikocha Priyakar’
Every individual is scared of something. Some people are scared of Lizards, cockroaches, while some are scared of darkness. But, do you know what actor Priyadarshan Jadhav is scared of ? He is scared of Darkness. Incidentally, Priyadarshan was shooting for a Marathi film ‘Majhya Baikocha Priyakar‘ directed by Rajeev S Ruia. During one such schedule, he was shooting a scene in darkness, where he was to picturise some scenes on ghosts.
Priyadarshan Jadhav who is part of this film was also present on the sets. But, as he noticed complete darkness, he started feeling scared. His reaction became the topic of discussion and the news spread out that Priyadarshan got scared of ghosts. Now, only Priyadarshan Jadhav himself can clarify on this episode. Others can very well watch his reaction during this scene, when the film will release on 23rd November 2018. The film’s music has been composed by Vivek Kar, Raju Sardar & Prabhakar Naravade.

Every Businessman wants his son to carry forward his business. Every Doctor wants his son to become a doctor . Similarly, every father into a job wants his son to take up a secured job. But, what if the son wants to do something else? This is a debatable issue. And, writer –director Lokesh Vijay Gupte deals with this subject of widening of generation gap between Father and son through his latest released film suitably titled ‘Ek Sangaychay- Unsaid Harmony‘.

The film begins with a raid carried out under the supervision of Senior Police Officer Malhar Raorane ( Kay Kay Menon) with his team at a rave party in Madh Island bungalow. In this raid they find drugs and liquor in plenty and therefore arrest all those present, including Malhar’s 22 year old son Kabir (Abhijit Aamkar) along with his close friends Dhruv( Shalv Kijavadekar) , Anhita Kapoor ( Harshita Sohal)& Angad ( Vibhav Rajadhyaksha) . Thereafter, how their respective lives get affected has been shown very cleverly by the writer –director through the film’s screenplay.
The film focuses more on the central character of Malhar Raorane and therefore we find most of the happenings taking place in his family. As the film progresses in the first half, we don’t find anything unusual. However, at the stroke of interval with the happening of an incident, changes the track of the film to give a different look. And then we find a lot of unanswered questions solved by the writer-director in the concluding part. The film does pass a social message to every family ..i.e. “Communication between parents and their children is imperative.”
Lokesh Gupte in multiple roles of writer of story, screenplay & dialogues has successfully shouldered his responsibility of direction on debut, besides handling the editing work. His seriousness for presenting this sensitive issue is clearly noticed through many important touching scenes, between Kay Kay Menon with his wife played by Rajeshwari Sachdev and also with his son Kabir played by young dashing television actor Abhijit Amkar. All three of them find plenty of scope to display their emotions very effectively. Director’s daughter Shubhavi who makes her debut in the role of Kay Kay Menon’s daughter in the film, has also performed her role confidently. Good support comes from supporting artistes like Padmawati Rao, Milind Phatak, Vineet Sharma, Shalv Kijavadekar , Harshita Sohal, Vibhav Rajadhyaksha and others and their selection has been done very appropriately for their respective characters.
The film ‘Ek Sangaychay- Unsaid Harmony‘ does have a drawback in the second half, as it keeps on hammering on the issues arising out of non communication between parents and their children. But, looking at the sincere efforts of the writer-director this can be ignored. Technically it is a well made film on a universal subject. Jitendra Joshi‘s meaningful lyrics, Shailendra Barve’s music, Pushpank Gavde’s cinematography, Resul Pookutty’s excellent sound design and Chaitrali Gupte‘s costumes are other plus points of this film on a timely subject. True lovers of sensible cinema will surely like ‘Ek Sangaychay- Unsaid Harmony‘ film.

‘टिळक आणि आगरकर‘ हे नाटक आज २०१८ मध्ये पुनश्च रंगभूमीवर येत आहे मात्र थोडं वेगळ्या स्वरुपात. त्याचे अभिवाचनाचे प्रयोग प्रथम होणार आहेत, त्यानंतर हे नाटक नव्या संचात संघातर्फे सादर केले जाणार आहे. लोकमान्य टिळक आणि गोपाळ गणेश आगरकर यांच्या मैत्रीच्या मर्मबंधावर आधारलेलं हे नाटक दिग्दर्शित करण्याचे शिवधनुष्य पेललं आहे ‘लोकमान्य एक युगपुरुष‘ या चित्रपटाचे संवादकार कौस्तुभ सावरकर यांनी. ‘टिळक आणि आगरकर’ नाटकाच्या अभिवाचनात सहभाग घेणाऱ्या कलावंतामध्ये गोपाळराव जोशी(उन्मन बाणकर), गोपाळराव आगरकर(अंगद म्हसकर), यशोदा आगरकर(मिथिला मुरकुटे), बळवंतराव टिळक(कौस्तुभ सावरकर) तसेच ‘श्री. नाट्यरंग कर्जत’च्या नवोदित गुणी कलावंतांचाही सहभाग आहे.
Marathi movies ‘Vanilla Strawberry and Chocolate’, ‘Naal’, ‘Ek Sangaychay’ and ‘Gat Mat’
Releasing three or four films together is not new to Marathi film industry. During the past few years we saw this happen and also witnessed how their business affected due to sharing of cinema halls and that too while competing with Hindi films. But that doesn’t seem to bother Marathi film makers. This Friday four Marathi films have announced their release simultaneously. So, only God knows what will be their fate in this competitive world.
‘Ek Sangaychay…Unsaid Harmony‘ starring Bollywood actor Kay Kay Menon and directed by Lokesh Gupte deals with a social issue, while writer director Girish Vishwanath presents an emotional bonding of a teenager with her pet dog through his film ‘Vanilla Strawberry and Chocolate‘. There is another film ‘Naal‘ on a sensible subject presented by National award winning film maker Nagraj Manjule , which is directed by Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti, while Avadhoot Gupte presented film ‘Gat Mat‘ directed by Nishit Shrivastava and based on youngsters also stands in the race.
Only last week we saw a Marathi biopic ‘Ani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar‘ drawing full house at many theatres and even scoring over a big banner Hindi film. Therefore, this film is expected to continue with its success this week too. So, it remains to be seen how these four films will succeed in inviting audience at the cinema halls where they are released.
Amitraj, Bappi Lahiri, Sanjay Jadhav, Vaishali Samant, Yogesh Phulphagar. ‘Lucky’ Marathi movie
Renowned Music director and singer of Bollywood Bappi Lahiri, popularly known as Bappida has completed 45 years in this film industry. During 70s , 80s and 90s he offered some of the best compositions through various films. It may be recalled that a Marathi director Raja Thakur offered Bappida his first chance as a music director through his film ‘Zakhmee’ in 1975. In 1990 he made his debut as a music director in Marathi with the film ‘Dokyala Taap Nahi’.
Now, Bappida is returning to Marathi films after long time as a singer through Sanjay jadhav’s forthcoming Marathi film ‘Lucky’ in which he has rendered a song along with Vaishali Samant. Composed by Amit Raj, recording of this song took place recently. Overwhelmed by this gesture, music director Amit Raj felt that it was a big blessing for him. Speaking on the occasion Bappida said that he always wanted to be part of Marathi films, but could not find time due to his busy schedule in Hindi. Now, at Sanjay Jadhav’s request, he has been part of this film.
