After experiencing good response in Maharashtra, ‘Lochya Jhala Re’ is ready for release in USA, UAE and other foreign countries soon. Presented by Mumbai Movie Studios and produced by Naveen Chandra, Nitin Keni, Paritosh Painter, Shantaram Manve and directed by Paritosh Painter and Ravi Adhikari this film has been shot in London. It is understood that this entertaining Marathi film has received a big demand from the Marathi film lovers in foreign countries.
Director Paritosh Painter is happy that his film has received good response in Maharashtra and now there is a request from overseas audience to release this film in their country. Shiv Jayanti celebrated on the sets of ‘Swarajya Saudamini Tararani’

The makers Jagadamb Creations and Dr. Amol Kolhe of ongoing popular Marathi serial ‘Swarajya Saudamini Tararani’ which is based on the bravery acts of his son Rajaram and his daughter in law Tararani, also remembered Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his birth anniversary by paying homage to him.
The lead stars of this film Sangram Samel and Swarada Thigale along with director Kartik Kendhe and other artistes and technicians present on the sets, celebrated the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by organizing acrobatics and demonstrating some bravery acts with the help of little artistes. ‘Pondicherry’ is the first Marathi film shot on smartphone
Directed by Sachin Kundalkar ‘Pondecherry (पांडिचेरी)’ is the first Marathi film shot on a smartphone. Shot at the picturesque Pondicherry the film is all set for release on 25th February 2022. Recently, the poster and teaser of this film was unveiled on social media. The film stars Sai Tamhankar, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Amruta Khanvilkar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Neena Kulkarni, Gaurav Ghatnekar and Tanmay Kulkarni in lead roles.

Presented by Akshay Bardapurkat, Planet Marathi, Vistas Media Capital Company and Creative Vibe Productions , in this film Sachin Kundalkar besides directing this film has also written the story of this film, besides producing the film along with Neel Patel. ‘Pondicherry’ has been shot with limited star cast in a period of one month. According to the writer- director, though the film indicates through its poster that it will be love triangle, it is actually an emotion filled journey . “With this film many versatile artistes have come together. Shooting this film on smartphone was challenging, but photographer Milind Jog has shown his skills. I am sure, the audience would love this film,” he said.
Prathamesh performs with Armenian dancer Elena Durgarian in ‘Ek Number’
The steps of Armenian dancer Elena Durgarian, who is trying to establish herself in Hindi cinema has also turned towards Marathi. In her debut film ‘Ek Number (एक नंबर), she has performed a rocking dance song along with Prathamesh Parab. ‘Ek Number’ is directed by Milind Kavde and is produced by Mahesh Shivaji Dhumal, Jitendra Shivaji Dhumal and Milind Kavde in association with Out of the Box Films under the banner of Dhumal Productions.

The song is titled ‘Majhe Tukade Tukade Whatil Ga…’ and choreographed by Rahul Sanjeer. Director Milind Kavde has managed to bring Elena in Marathi. The song, which was shot on Elena-Prathamesh, is written by lyricist Jay Atre and sung by Varun Likhate, Mugdha Karhade and Kavita Ram. Varun has also composed this song. Milind Kavde, who is in charge of direction, has also written the story and screenplay of the film and Sanjay Navgire has penned the dialogues.

Along with Prathamesh, Milind Shinde, Ganesh Yadav, Nisha Parulekar, Abhilasha Patil, Aily Ghiya, Rishikesh Dhamapurkar, Akshata Padgaonkar, Pranali Sanghamitra Dhaware, Sumit Bhokse, Sunil Magare, Harish Thorat, Akash Koli and others have performed in this film. The background music is composed by Abhinay Jagtap and edited by Pranav Patel. Writing of the screenplay has also been assisted by Sanjay Navgire and Sunil Magre. Prasad Oak arriving with his next film ‘Chandramukhi’ on 29th April

Actor turned director Prasad Oak who offered quality films like ‘Kachha Limbu’ and ‘Hirakani’ is now arriving with his next big project ‘Chandramukhi’ on 29th April 2022. Teaser of this film was released recently, which indicated that it was a love story happening between An experienced politician and a glamorous Tamasha dancer. Surprisingly, the star cast of this film has been kept in abeyance till now.

Ajay Gogavale gives a new touch to the song from ‘Gulher’

The music lovers will soon experience a somewhat new style of voice from playback singer Ajay Gogavale who has satisfied the ears of music lovers with his magical voice along with his music. Ajay has sung a beautiful song for the upcoming Marathi movie ‘Gulhar’. The film has already won Best Jury Mention Award at Noida International Film Festival 2022, Best Film at South Indian Film Festival 2022, Best Jury Award at Marathwada International Film Festival and was Official Selection in Berlin Life of Film Festival 2022
Produced under the banner of Ideal Venture and R. K. films launched by Shantaram (Appa) Medage, Shivaji Bhintade, Anup Shinde and Abid Syed. ‘Gulhar’ is directed by Ramesh Chaudhari, who directed a somewhat different style of film, ‘Baabo’, after entering the field of direction. The title song of this movie ‘Lahar Aali, Lahar Aali Ga…’ will play an important role in the story. This song is beautifully rendered by Ajay Gogavale and Apoorva Nishad. The song is written by lyricist Vaibhav Kulkarni and composed by Padmanabh Gaikwad.
This song was recorded at Yashraj Studios in Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Gogavale said that the title of the film ‘Gulhar’ is bound to catch the attention of all and also the song ‘Lahar Aali, Lahar Aali Ga…’. “It is my opinion that melodious music has been added to the wonderful n of this song. This song is very special to me as I got a different kind of lyrics and received spiritual satisfaction while recording the song. The audience will definitely experience it while listening to this song,” he added.
The story of the film is written by Mohan Padwal and the screenplay and dialogues are done by Sanjay Navagire. The story of this film revolves around an 11 year old boy. According to the makers, the artistes like Vinayak Poddar, Ravi Kale, Bhargavi Chiramule, Suresh Vishwakarma, Madhav Abhyankar, Kishor Chaugule, Rukmini Sutar, Shivani Bavkar, Shivaji Bhintade, Anup Shinde, Manjiri Yashwant and others have done justice to the story of ‘Gulhar’ through their performances.
Abhinay Berde joins the cast of ‘Dishabhool’ in Goa

Sanavi Productions first Marathi film ‘Dishabhool’ produced by Aarti Chavan and directed by Ashish Kailas Jain had already announced the lead cast of their film comprising of Tejas Barve, Amruta Ghongade and Madhuri Pawar. And now, they have made a surprise inclusion of actor Abhinay Berde in the lead cast of this film. Abhinay has joined the lead cast of this film, while shooting in Goa.The film revolves around collegians and the remaining shooting of this film will be held in Pune and Konkan.

Marathi short film ‘Pandemic – The Bright side’ wins many awards

Journalist Nandu Dhurandhar’s Marathi short film ‘Pandemic – The Bright Side’ has received good response at different international short film festivals in India and abroad. In Bangalore Chalchitra Rolling Award ‘ festival this film has bagged ‘The Best Dramatic film’ and The Best Production’ award. For Italy Film Festival, this film has been selected for the final round.
At the Great Indian Short film festival in Kolkatta, this film has found official entry. The film was shot last year during Corona Pandemic and this is the first film made by Gama Foundation on family relationship. The makers of this film Producer Mahesh kalekar, director Nandu Dhurandhar, Concept designer and actress Amruta Deodhar and co producer Nikhil Katare are confident that their film will be appreciated at all the prestigious International film festivals this year too.
Nikhil Katare has written the screenplay and dialogues of this film besides being the assistant director, story and concept is by Amruta Deodhar while cinematography is by Makarand Panchal. Besides Amruta Deodhar, artistes from Soortaal , Vile Parle Group, namely Mahesh Arur, Shalaka Arur, Ulka Kamat and Pallavi Nerurkar have performed in this film.
