‘Hashtag Prem’ready with trailer, to be released on 19th March

In today’s age of social media, the language employed by the youth has also undergone a rapid change radically. The language symbols as well as words in social media have gained a lot of currency and accordingly even love has embraced the touch of social media and it is greatly reflected on the large screen these days. No wonder, that a film with a unique title like ‘Hashtag Prem’ is all set to be released on March 19. There is increased curiosity about the film ever since the eye catchy trailer of the film has been released in the social media recently.
The title of the film makes it very clear that this film is a love story. It also reveals that rose is the symbol of love today. The USP of the film is that the palpable and pulsating chemistry between the leading love pair Mitali Mayekar and Suyash Tilak . The trailer sets out to tell about the love and friendship between the two lovers of the film. Produced by Anil Govind Patil under the banner of his film production called Mauli Film Productions and Distributed by Sameer Dixit and Rishikesh Bhirangi under the aegis of their concern Pickle Entertainment, this film is directed by Rajesh Balkrishna Jadhav .
Director Rajesh Balkrishna Patil says that the film needed the casting of a fresh new pair and that was the reason that he had opted to cast talented actors like Mitali Mayekar and Suyash Tilak for his film. As the film has been targeted towards the youth and as the title itself reveals, the plus point of the film is its young new pair. Nikhil Katare has written the story as well as the screenplay. Pravin kuwar has composed the songs which have been crooned by Rohit Raut, who has also scored the background music for the film. Raja Phadtare is the DOP. “Hashtag Prem” is slated for release all over Maharashtra on March 19th, 2021.
New Marathi film ‘Mangalashtak Return’ highlights Divorce ceremony

Recently, a video about a divorce ceremony being performed had become viral on social media. There was a big discussion going on among the viewers as to giving so much of importance to this kind of ceremony. But, it turned out to be a clipping of the shooting of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Mangalashtak Return’, which is in progress after there was relaxation on the long period of lockdown .
This film is being produced by Veerkumar Shah under his banner Sharda Productions and is directed by Yogesh Bhosale who had earlier directed a Marathi film ‘Bazaar’ which had won 16 different awards. Shooting of this film is presently in progress at Hinjawadi, Pune and the film stars Prasad Oak, Anand Ingale, Saksham Kulkarni, Vrushabh Shah, Shweta Kharat, Prasanna Ketkar, Sheetal Ahirrao, Sunil Godbole, Kamlesh Sawant, Sameer Poulaste, Prajakta Nevale, Sonal Pawar, Bhakti Chavan and Sheetal Oswal
Grand Premier of Marathi film ‘Kaanbhatt’

With the constant uncertainty and fear around the current situation, Marathi film producers are looking forward to a friendly distraction. And therefore, Rash production had organised grand premiere of Marathi film ‘Kaanbhatt’. The artistes present at the event were Bhavya Shinde, Rughved Mule, Sanjeev Tandel, Vipin Borate, Anil Chhatre, Manisha Joshi and others.

Incidentally, film ‘Kaanbhatt is creating an impact on its audience. The film has received a very good response from the audience and is being praised by critics too. Producer& Director Aparana S Hosing has given her fans a perfect new year gift.
The film is about a small boy and his dreams & desires where he is forced to follow others’ word but destiny has something else for him, for which he goes on a different path. The story depicts the relationship between Ved and Science.
This period drama is now running in theatres.
Swatantra Goel making his Directorial Debut with Marathi film ‘Contract Marriage’

After making a foray into production with the films ‘Ashley’, ‘Dessa Dhimmari’ and ‘Pension’ which is ready to release in next week on Eros now OTT Platform, Swatantra Goel popularly known as Savi Goel completed the post production of yet another Marathi film ‘Kaalich Lagn’. Now, Producer Mr. Savi Goel is set to venture into Direction with Marathi film ‘Contract Marriage’ starring Bhushan Pradhan, Neha Mahajan, Dipti Dhotre, Swati karnekar, Prasad Ozarkar music by Dushyant Dubey and Kirti Kiledar. The story, Screenplay & dialogues also written by Mr. Goel under the Banner of Saveena Creation.

Producer-Director Savi Goel completed the shooting of ‘Contract Marriage’ and the film is now in the post production stage. However, other details about the film are still unclear. He is the only producer in Bollywood who made five films in just five-year span.
Mr. Goel was born and raised in Patiala, Punjab. He started his career as a Bank officer with State Bank of India. Then immigrated to the USA in 1996 for better prospects, after resigning from lucrative Bank job. He got instant success there in the petroleum business, owning a bunch of petrol stations/convenience stores.
Since Mr. Savi Goel was active and interested in theatre from his college days, he decided to fulfil his dream to associate with Bollywood in 2014. Now he is actively working in cinema industry.
‘Hashtag Prem’ title track unveiled
The past success stories of hit films suggest that a love story supported by good music has always been appreciated by Marathi film lovers, especially the youngsters. Perhaps, keeping in mind this aspect, the makers of new Marathi film ‘Hashtag Prem’ are making all the efforts to see that their film boasts of catchy songs, when it comes to love stories, they always go the extra mile to see to it that they are embellished with melodious music. The title track of this film was unveiled recently, which has been receiving good response on social media.

Directed by Balkrishna Jadhav this film is produced by Anil Govind Patil, under the banner of Mauli Film Productions. The film will be distributed by Sameer Dixit and Hrishikesh Bhirangi of Pickle Entertainment.The title track is penned by Kautuk Shirodkar and composed by Pravin Kuwar in the voice of Rupali Moghe. Aashish Patil has choreographed the dance number. Music director Pravin Kuwar feels that the reason the song has clicked tremendously is for the rich and catchy lyrics coupled with melody at its best.
The new pair of Mitali Mayekar and Suyash Tilak lead the star cast of the film are the main attraction of this film The story and the screenplay have been written by Nikhil Katare . Cinematography is by Raja Phadtare and Art Direction by Keshav Thakur are the other credits of the of the film. ‘Hashtag Prem’ is slated for release very soon.
Shrikant Moghe, Jyoti Chandekar, V.N.Mayekar to be honoured at AMFF

The nominations for the 6th Ambernath Marathi Film Festival 2020 have been announced and at the same time few declared awards have also been announced as decided by the Jury appointed by the hosts Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal and Amber Bharati. 47 films had participated in this film festival and 28 films have found place in the list of nominations in different categories.Prominent among them are films like ‘Pravaas’, ’Fanaral’,’Pritam’,’ Anya’,’ Kali Mati’,’Nibar’ and ’Email Female’.

Digpal Lanjekar announces another film of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Writer-director-actor Digpal Lanjekar, inspired by the different episodes in the life of brave Maratha King Shiv Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj , has offered two grand Marathi films ‘Farzand’ read review and ‘Fatfeshikast‘ read review and his third film ‘Jangjouhar’ which is complete, is due for release in theatres shortly. In the meanwhile, he has announced his fourth Marathi film ‘Sher Shivraj Hai’. The title of this film is inspired by the poem penned by Poet Bhushan, in praise of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
At present Digpal is busy giving finishing touches to the script of ‘Sher Shivraj Hai’, where he is paying a lot of attention on Shivaji Maharaj’s mind set and his planning and execution while fighting the battles. He will also present the highly respected character of this King who was well versed in geographical knowledge. The first poster and teaser of this film will be released soon, but in the meanwhile this film too has generated a lot of curiosity in the minds of Marathi film lovers.
New Poster of ‘Hari Om’ unveils the identity of Hari and Om

On the past two occasions makers of the film ‘Hari Om’ had released two different types of posters. The inaugural poster was dedicated to Shiv Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj , which indicated the subject of an action packed film. The second poster released on the occasion of Valentines day, gave an impression that it could be a romantic film, as the lead pair was seen behind a heart shaped balloon. And hence there was a curiosity about their identity.
Only details available about this film was that it is being produced by Hari Om Ghadge and directed by Ashish Newalkar . However, now with the unveiling of third poster of this film, it has come to notice that two strong men Hari Om Ghadge, who also happens to be the producer of this film and Gaurav Kadam are playing two brothers Hari and Om respectively, in the lead roles in this film. Both of them have really worked very hard towards their fitness, taking commando training, and working on Kick boxing and Gymnastics, for their roles. Though the exact date of release of this film has not been disclosed, the film is expected to release in May 2021.
‘Kali Mati’ spreads its fragrance at Film Fests across the world

The success story of Renowned progressive National award winning farmer Dnyaneshwar Bodke has inspired many people in Maharashtra. Based on his success story is new Marathi film ‘Kali Mati’ produced and directed by Hemantkumar Mahale. The film has been inviting all the attention, prior to its release, for winning 52 various awards in different categories 42 of which have been for best film, 7 for best direction and one each for best actor, best music and best cinematography respectively, at the national and international film festivals.
The film has very well presented the role of Government and banking sector in helping the farmer to prosper in his business. Well known television actor Omprakash Shinde has played the lead character of Dnyaneshwar Bodke in this film, while the other important characters are played by Bhagwan Pachore, Poonam Patil, newcomer Etasha Sanzgiri and Disha Bhor.Screenplay by Mayur Aadkar, dialogues by Anil Raut, cinematography by Suresh Suvarna, music by Avinash Vishwajeet are the other credits of this film. ‘Kali Mati’ will be released soon in theatres.
Amey, Vaidehi, Lalit starrer ‘Zombivli ‘ teaser launched
Aditya Sarpotdar, who directed films like ‘Uladhaal’, ‘Classmates’, ‘Faster Fene’ and ‘Mauli’ is ready with his next Marathi film ‘Zombivli ‘ starring Amey Wagh, Vaidehi Parshurami and Lalit Prabhakar in lead roles. Recently, the teaser of this film was launched, besides announcing the release date of this film in theatres, as 30th April 2021.
Due to lock down shootings of all the Marathi films had come to standstill. But, immediately after the unlock was declared, ‘Zombivali’ was the first Marathi film to begin shooting at places like Mumbai and Latur. Now, with completion of shooting, ‘Zombivali’ will be the first Marathi film to announce its release in theatres. The teaser of this film gives an idea that this film will be a combination of horror and comedy. The film is based on a Zombie who controls a popular part of Suburban Mumbai.

According to Aditya Sarpotdar, this will be the first big film in Marathi on Zombie, with a new subject. He has appealed to the Marathi film lovers to watch this film in theatres.
