Teaser launch of Gradiente Infotainment’s Marathi film ‘Abhaya’
Marathi cinema has always been known for content based films. The teaser of Marathi film ‘Abhaya’, with such an exciting story, has been launched in Mumbai. This crime thriller is produced by Dr. Vimal Raj Mathur in association with Rupesh D Gohil (RDG Production Pvt. Ltd.) under his banner Gradiente Infotainment limited.
Producer of ‘Abhaya’ Dr. Vimal Raj Mathur said that many projects are coming under his banner Gradiente infotainment limited. He is also coming up with an OTT platform, business channel and music channel soon. Producer Rupesh D Gohil said that the shooting of the first schedule of the film has been completed while the second and final schedule will be shot next month. The film is planned to be released in Marathi, Hindi and South languages on the occasion of Vijaya Dashmi.
Story of ‘Abhaya’ is about Savitri, a rural housewife who is troubled by her crooked husband. You will have to watch the film to know how Savitri copes with these circumstances and what happens in the end. In this film, Drishyam fame Kamlesh Sawant has played the role of Constable Sawant, while Yogita Bhosle will be seen in the role of Savitri.
The film is written and directed by Yusuf Surti. Among the rest of the actors in the film, the names of Harsha Nikam, Shraddha Wagh and Aarohi Bhoir are notable. The music of the film is composed by R.P Soni and the cinematographer is Vimal Mishra.
Based on the issue of women empowerment, the film is about a woman troubled by domestic violence. It is said that do not scare anyone so much that fear disappears from his mind. The story of the film revolves around this subject. The writer-director of the film says that Abhaya is the story of a woman named Savitri, who is a fearless woman who takes the form of Durga.He is confident that the mystery and thrill in this film will keep the audience engaged.
Trailer of ‘Faas’ unveiled on social media
The dream of every father and mother is to see that their child achieves what they could not achieve. However, the makers of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Faas (फास)’ feel that the farmers are not able to dream big, as they are not able to provide the basic needs to their children. And this reality they would like to present through their film ‘Faas’ which is slated for release in all cinema houses in Maharashtra on 4th February 2022. The trailer of this film was unveiled recently on social media.
‘Faas’ has been presented by Maheshwari Patil Chakurkar of Maa Entertainmentand has been produced in collaboration with Naresh Patil, Pallavi Palkar, Dayanand Avrade, Basavraj Patil and Vaishali Paddevad jointly, with Avinash Kolte as the director. The film has already been appreciated at various national as well as international film festivals. The story as well as dialogues of ‘Faas’ have been penned by Maheshwari Patil Chakurkar, while Avinash Kolte has shouldered the responsibility of not only writing the screenplay but has also handling the direction of the film.
The national award winning versatile actor Upendra Limye will be seen playing a responsible police officer in the film which also stars Kamlesh Sawant as a farmer and Sayaji Shinde as a Doctor, besides actors like Pallavi Palkar, Ganesh Chandanshive, Namdeo Patil, Gyanesh Undgaonkar, Nilesh Bade, Umesh Rajhans, Sharad Kakde, Ishwar More, Pawan Vaidya, Vinay Joshi, Deva Pandey, Pooja Tayade, Tejaswini, Madhuri Bharti and Shrutika Londe. Ramani Ranjan Das is the D.O.P of the film while, Apoorva Motiwale and Aashish Mhatre have edited it. Art Direction by Santosh Samudre.’

The song is written by lyricist Amol Deshmukh and composer Alan K. P. and has been recorded by singers Avdhoot Gupte & Sheikh Nishant. Listening to the title of this song, ‘Shivnerivar Shivshakticha Tej Janmala Aaj…’ is memorable.
In this song, Maharaj’s Saffron flag is seen fluttering by Doula, but the beautiful idol of Shivaraya also attracts attention. This song has been filmed on prominent artist Kamlesh Sawant. At the beginning of the song, National Award winning actor Upendra Limaye also appears in khaki uniform, then the song starts. This song of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been filmed and recorded to the sound of dhol. Disciplined drumming and rhythmic dancing can be seen in this song. New Marathi film ‘Faas’ talks about the life of farmers
Marathi films have been inviting all the attention at various international film festivals, for handling many social issues connected with people from different sectors. Kamlesh Sawant to play Gomaji Patil in ‘Shaheed Bhai Kotwal’
Kamlesh Sawant has already established himself as an actor through variety of memorable roles in Hindi and Marathi films so far. Now, he will be seen playing an important role of a committed freedom fighter Shahid Gomaji Patil in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Shaheed Bhai Kotwal’, which is due for release on 24th January 2020.
Produced by Pravin Dattatray Patil and directed by Eknath Desale and Parag Sawant the story, screenplay and dialogues are penned by Eknath Desale. Besides the central character of Bhail Kotwal, the film also revolves around the brave father and son duo Gomaji Patil and Hiraji Patil. Shahid Bhai Kotwal formed his own army to fight British rulers and sacrificed his life at the young age of 31. Actor Kamalesh Swant who plays the character of Gomaji is confident that the characters in this film would inspire the audience.

Will ‘Morcha’ inspire people to question injustice ?
When we talk about ‘Morcha‘ in India, we imagine a huge gathering of crowd demanding something from their administrators. Generally, ‘Morcha‘ takes place to fight against injustice on a group of people. Saaz Entertainment presents one such ‘Morcha‘ through their film with the same title and this film has been released on Friday 23rd March 2018.
According to the director of this film Akhil Desai his cinema is itself is a fight against corrupt system. Elections are held to elect the candidates to represent section of people from different localities. But, after getting elected, these candidates take their voters for granted. He feels that this film is a fight against the system. “‘Morcha‘ is just not the solution, but the elected representatives should be questioned for not fulfilling their promises. The dictatorship of elected representatives will not be tolerated any more. This is what ‘Morcha‘ is all about,” he adds.

Editing expert Nikhil Bhosale turns director with new Marathi film ‘Jalu’
Marathi films are known for their extraordinary subjects. Many a times, such subjects are called the ‘hero’ of such films. Nikhil Bhosale who has experience of editing popular TV programmes like ‘CID‘, ‘Aahat‘, ‘Madhali Sutti‘ and ‘Comedy Express‘ will now be making his debut as a director through new Marathi film ‘Jalu‘ , shooting of which will begin soon.
Produced by Ajitkumar Dhule under his Sai Nakshatra Productions, the film’s choreography is to be handled by renowned choreographer Phulwa Khamkar. The director will himself be doing the editing work of this film. Versatile artistes like Jyoti Subhash and Kamlesh Sawant will be performing important roles in ‘Jalu‘ film, with other artistes to be finalized soon. According to the makers of this film, the film’s realistic subject would inspire women.
