‘Makeup’ and ‘Mhorkya’ to release this Friday
‘Sairat’ fame young actress Rinku Rajguru’s next film ‘Makeup’ and National award winning children’s film ‘Mhorkya’ will be the Friday attraction for coming week. While ‘Makeup’ success will depend upon the popularity of Rinku and the type of character played by her, ‘Mhorkya’ will depend on sensible audience looking for something ‘Out of the box’ from Marathi film industry.
Both the films are debut films of respective directors Amar Deokar who makes his debut as writer director through ‘Mhorkya’, is also debut film of producer and artistes of this film. The film’s artistes Raman Deokar and Yashraj Karhade have also won national awards for acting , besides their film winning best children’s film National award. ‘Makeup’ which has Chinmay Udgirkar in the lead opposite Rinku, is directed by debutant Ganesh Pandit.
Now, it remains to be seen which film will attract the attention of audience at theatre windows?
National award winning film ‘Mhorkya’ to release on 24th January
During the 65th National awards Marathi film ‘Mhorkya’ won the best children’s film award. The film has also received appreciation at various national and international film festivals. Now, on 24th January 2020 this film will be released not only in India but also in different countries. Produced by Swastik Preeti Films and Aispais presentation, this film is written and directed by Amar Deokar.
Besides winning the best children’s film award, the two artistes in this film Raman Deokar and Yashraj Karhade have also received special appreciation national awards . Highlight of this film is that right from the producers, director and artistes all have made their debut through this film .
The film is not only about the efforts of a boy to take part in the Republic day parade , but it is the story of all those connected with it around the world. This is what renowned film maker Shekhar Kapoor expressed after watching this film. The film’s publicity campaign has already begun and the poster has also been released. Anand Shinde’s Marathi rap song used in this film has also popularised and this could be the USP of this film.
Besides child artistes Raman Deokar and Yashraj Karhade the film also stars Ramchandra Dhumal, Anil Kamble, Surekha Gavhane and writer director Amar Deokar himself. The film has been shot surrounding the township of Barshi in Solapur district.
