Trailer of ‘Babu’ launched
Trailer of forthcoming action filled Marathi film ‘Babu’ was launched recently. On this occasion, the artistes of this film dressed up in the costumes of their respective characters, performed Koli style dance on the tunes of Aagari Benjo. Lead star Ankit Mohan who is playing the title role, made a stylish entry on motorbike and joined his co-artistes in the dance. A huge 20 feet poster was also released on this occasion.
Trailer of this film has raised the curiosity of action film lovers, as it also presents the dialogues in typical Aagari-Koli accent. According to writer- director Mayur Shinde, this film is on the backdrop of 90s period and is a complete package of entertainment highlighting love, friendship, enmity, revenge and action. This film is presented by Samarth Krupa Production and is produced by Sunita Babu Bhoir. Besides Ankit Mohan, the film stars Neha Mahajan, Ruchira Jadhav, Smita Tambe, Sanjay Khapare, Shrikant Yadav in lead roles. And it will be released on 2nd August 2024.
‘Fake Marriage’ World Digital Premiere on Ultra Jhakaas Marathi OTT

‘Dariya, Dariya…’ song from ‘Gadad Andhar’ released
Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Gadad Andhar’ is in the limelight for the past few days, having tried a different experiment in Marathi for the first time. The curiosity of this film has increased since the release of its teaser. Now, a new song from this movie has been released for the audience. The song ‘Dariya, Dariya…’ gives a glimpse of this film, which takes us on a journey of a unique underwater world.
Made under the banner of Elula Feature Vision Pvt. Ltd., by producers Captain Avadesh Singh and Varsha Singh , ‘Gadad Andhar’ is directed by Pradnyesh Ramesh Kadam. ‘Dariya, Dariya…’ song has been penned by lyricist Abhishek Khankar, sung and composed by singer-composer Rohit Shyam Raut himself. ‘Mujor mana re, tu sod kinare, haravlelya suranna tu shodh punha re…’ the starting of the song ‘Dariya, Dariya…’ tells a lot about the song choreographed by Shafi Shaikh.

Makers of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Gadad Andhar’, who have shown that Marathi films are nowhere behind in underwater shooting technology, released the exciting teaser of their film on social media recently. Made by Elula Future Vision Pvt. Ltd. under the banner of producers Capt. Avadesh Singh and Varsha Singh, this film is directed by Pradnyesh Ramesh Kadam.
According to the makers, ‘Gadad Andhar’ is going to shed light on a never-seen-before story line and supernatural universe. Director Pradnyesh Kadam says that this film will be a truly different experience for Marathi film lovers. The winner of ‘MTV Splitsvilla X3′ and ‘Bigg Boss’ fame Jai Dudhane, Neha Mahajan, Shubhangi Tambale, Akash Kumbhar and others have played important roles in this film. The film has been written by Pradnyesh Kadam, Laukeek and Chetan Mule, and playback singer and music composer Rohit Raut has has shouldered the responsibility of giving music to the songs in ‘Gadad Andhar’. New Marathi film will present Jay Dudhane & Neha Mahajan together
New Marathi film ‘Gadad (गडद)‘ will present a unique experiment based on scuba diving, which will be for the first time in Marathi cinema. Renowned TV show MTV Splitsvilla X3 winner and ‘Marathi Bigg Boss’ fame Jay Dudhane and well known Marathi actress Neha Mahajan will be in the lead roles in ‘Gadad’. The motion poster of ‘Gadad’, which was released a few days ago, had already invited the attention of the film lovers and created curiosity.
‘Gadad’ is produced by Captain Awadhesh Singh and Varsha Singh under the banner of Elula Future Vision Pvt. Writer- director Pradnyesh Kadam has chosen this challenging subject like scuba diving in his directorial debut. The first shooting schedule of the film was completed recently in Maldives. The next halt of the two will be in Goa. Although this is the first time that the audience will get to see scuba diving in this movie, the mystery of what exactly is the plot has not been revealed yet.
Both Jay and Neha have had to work extremely hard for this film. They are learning new things and using them for the film Gadad. The duo will be seen in important roles in the film along with Shubhangi Tambale, Nitin Gawande and Aarti Shinde. DOP Venkatesh Prasad is doing the cinematography for the film. The lyrics have been penned by Abhishek Khankar and the music has been composed by singer-composer Rohit Shyam Raut.

The action scenes of Ankit in this film had also become viral on social media , soon thereafter, clearly indicating that this will be an action filled film. .Produced by Babu K Bhoir and Directed by Mayur Madhukar Shinde the shooting of this film is presently in progress.

Swatantra Goel making his Directorial Debut with Marathi film ‘Contract Marriage’
After making a foray into production with the films ‘Ashley’, ‘Dessa Dhimmari’ and ‘Pension’ which is ready to release in next week on Eros now OTT Platform, Swatantra Goel popularly known as Savi Goel completed the post production of yet another Marathi film ‘Kaalich Lagn’. Now, Producer Mr. Savi Goel is set to venture into Direction with Marathi film ‘Contract Marriage’ starring Bhushan Pradhan, Neha Mahajan, Dipti Dhotre, Swati karnekar, Prasad Ozarkar music by Dushyant Dubey and Kirti Kiledar. The story, Screenplay & dialogues also written by Mr. Goel under the Banner of Saveena Creation.
Actress Neha Mahajan
Producer-Director Savi Goel completed the shooting of ‘Contract Marriage’ and the film is now in the post production stage. However, other details about the film are still unclear. He is the only producer in Bollywood who made five films in just five-year span.
Mr. Goel was born and raised in Patiala, Punjab. He started his career as a Bank officer with State Bank of India. Then immigrated to the USA in 1996 for better prospects, after resigning from lucrative Bank job. He got instant success there in the petroleum business, owning a bunch of petrol stations/convenience stores.
Since Mr. Savi Goel was active and interested in theatre from his college days, he decided to fulfil his dream to associate with Bollywood in 2014. Now he is actively working in cinema industry.
Marathi artistes are very hopeful about this new year
We have seen the worst time during the lock down during corona pandemic for the past several months. But, as the new year has arrived we see lot of hopes especially from young Marathi Artistes who are waiting for their respective projects to see the light. Newcomer Uday Jankar who is eagerly waiting for his debut film ‘Law of Love’ to release, is very positive about the coming days during this new year. He has himself planned to achieve what he has aspired, with complete focus on his goal with determination.

‘TTMM – Tujha Tu Majha Mi’ – Making youngsters understand the value of marriage

It seems that now a days modern Marathi film makers have set a new trend of ‘youngsters getting confused, when it actually comes to marriage’. In short, it is all about their mindset in understanding marriage. So, after ‘Chi Va Sou Ka‘ and ‘Muramba‘, we find another Marathi film ‘Tujha Tu Majha Mi’ (TTMM) presenting a young couple, confused about the term ‘marriage’. While Jay (Lalit Prabhakar) a young man from a rich family runs away from his house, because his parents feel that it is right time for their son to marry a girl known to him and his family, Rajashri (Neha Mahajan) a girl from a middle class family also runs away from her house, as her demanding mother wants her to marry a boy, whom she feels is suitable to her daughter, who is already overdue for marriage.
So, the destination for all such youngsters being Goa, both of them coincidentally board the same bus bound for Goa. They occupy seats next to each other only to fight over petty things and finally start liking each other, following the traditional formula of films based on love stories. Only difference is that this couple agree with mutual consent to marry each other, to escape their arrest by a Police Officer ( Bharat Ganeshpure). Being convinced that they are true lovers and treating Rajashri has his sister, the Police Officer being more than generous, offers the couple four day honeymoon package, inclusive of an escort. Both spend good time with each other, only to be traced by their parents. Having come to know about their marriage, Jay’s parents welcome Rajashri to their house. But, the film’s story takes a new twist, to show their separation. Finally, the film concludes with a predictable climax.
Good thing about this film is its music by Pankaj Padghan provided for few songs played in the background. Also, wonderful cinematography by Mayur Hardas adds that extra flavor to this film. But, in the role of editor of this film, he has created some confusion, with sudden shift of scenes, taxing the audience. Also, inclusion of the character of Sagar ( a small time cable operator and an eve teaser) played by Sagar karande fails to convince, as Rajashri is shown cheating him with a promise for marriage first and later agreeing to marry him, after separating from Jay. This certainly does not send a good message. The director has however presented some emotion filled scenes very well, particularly the one with Vidyadhar Joshi and Lalit Prabhakar in the second half of the film.
Nevertheless, the performances by lead pair are good. Neha Mahajan in particular , is very impressive. Good support comes from Vidyadhar Joshi, Savita Prabhune, Satish Pulekar, Seema Deshmukh, Bharat Ganeshpure and others. Among them, Bharat Ganeshpure through his limited role of a Police Officer offers some humour. Kadambari Kadam is seen after a long time in guest appearance.
All in all, ‘TMM – Tujha Tu Majha Mi’ offers light entertainment and is targeted at youngsters. The film does send across a message for youngsters, i.e. to understand the value of marriage. However, it could have been still better, if it was presented with convincing theme.
