Renowned film director Mahesh Manjrekar’s much awaited latest Marathi film ‘Bandkhor’ is all set for release on 22^nd September 2026. Recently, teaser of this film, which was released on social media has also raised the expectations from this film, which revolves around six women protagonists who come together to fight injustice.

The six lead characters of this film are played by Chhaya Kadam, Priyadarshini Indalkar, Mrunal Kulkarni, Pooja Katurde, Titiksha Tawde and Nityashree Mahalaxmi. It is not very clear from the teaser, as to what which particular cause they are all fighting for, but, according to director Mahesh Manjrekar, these six characters played by the artistes are reflection of women in this society.

Mahesh also feels that every man should watch this film with his mother, sister , wife, daughter or his friend. This film is produced by Sanjay Shetye, Winson Graphics and presented by Satyasai films. Dialogues are penned by Irawati Karnik.
