‘Baalaa’ set on Cricket backdrop releases timely
Cricket is considered to be the religion of people living in India. So, much is the craze of cricket. After we saw Cricket based films like ‘Iqbal’ and ‘Lagaan’ in Hindi, there were some films like ‘Well Done Bhalya’ and ‘Shikshanachya Aaichha Gho’ in Marathi too.
Presently, the IPL-20 Cricket matches are going on and the World Cup Cricket is just few days away. So, the timing is perfectly suited for a film based on cricket. Presented by Rakesh Singh and directed by Sachindra Sharma , new Marathi film ‘Baalaa ’ has been released this Friday.

Written by director Sachindra Sharma himself, the film stars Mihiresh Joshi in title role of a boy who is passionate about the game of cricket and who holds a dream of becoming a cricketer to his heart. The trailer of this film clearly indicates that his Police Inspector father wants his son to become a top police officer, but the boy is keen on playing cricket despite opposition from father. Whether the boy fulfils his dream ?
To find out, one has to watch this film, which also stars Upendra Limaye, Kranti Redkar, Vikram Gokhale, Suhasini Mulay, Kamlesh Sawant in lead roles. Former India Cricket Captain Late Ajit Wadekar will also be seen in this film as a cricket coach .
‘Baalaa’ gets ready for release on 3rd May
We are all aware that Cricket is also considered as the religion of our country. And our children are more attracted towards this game and are keen on making their career in this game. However, the parents are such children are opposed to their idea and would like their children to focus on their studies first. Upcoming Marathi film ‘Baalaa‘ produced by Rakesh Singh and written-directed by Sachhindra Sharma, presents the story of one such boy who is passionate about the game of cricket.

To fulfil his ambition, Bala runs away from his house and his Police Inspector father who is opposed to his son’s ‘love for cricket’ is unable to trace him. Whether Bala is able to fulfil his dream, the audience will have to watch this film. The film ‘Baalaa‘ presents newcomer Mihiresh Joshi in the lead role along with versatile artistes like Upendra Limaye, Kranti Redkar, Vikram Gokhale, Suhasini Mulye & Kamlesh Sawant in lead roles along with Yashwardhan-Rajwardhan, Ashish Gokhale, Jyoti Tayade, Apeksha Deshmukh & Hiya Singh in supporting roles. Former India Cricketer and captain of Indian Cricket team Late Ajit Wadekar will be seen as a cricket coach in this film. The film has music by Mahesh-Rakesh and cinematography by R.R. Prince. Costumes are designed by Chaitrali Dongare.

‘Me Shivaji Park’ promises a Big Dhamaka during Dushera

We are all aware that Shivaji Park is a renowned landmark of South Central Mumbai. Over the years, this place has witnessed many big memorable events and happenings. For Senior Citizens and especially the morning walkers this place is very much close to their hearts. It is at this place they spend their best time of the day, sharing their thoughts in their group. So, it will be interesting to watch one such happening which we presume a fiction, on Big screen coming Friday.
Incidentally, ‘Dushera‘ is also coinciding with the release of this film and hence the film promises a Big Dhamaka on this auspicious occasion. With the trailer of this film called ‘Me Shivaji Park‘ now unveiled, it gives some idea of an interesting theme of this film, which revolves around five friends played by Vikram Gokhale, Satish Alekar, Ashok Saraf, Shivaji Satam & Dilip Prabhavalkar who are all versatile actors and there are also other talented artistes like Sharad Ponkshe, Uday Tikekar forming the star cast of this film, which is directed by award winning film maker Mahesh Waman Manjrekar.
Time is just right for this film’s release . So it remains to be seen how the film lovers would respond at multiplexes and Single screen cinema halls all over Maharashtra.
The trailer of ‘Me Shivaji Park’ generates a lot of interest

Film maker Mahesh Manjrekar’s next Marathi film ‘Me Shivaji Park‘ has generated a lot of interest , ever since the trailer of this film was released on social networking sites. The name ‘Shivaji‘ has also proved lucky for the film maker, after making a hit film like ‘Me Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy‘.
Though the theme of this film ‘Me Shivaji Park‘ hasn’t been revealed, but the happenings shown in the trailer suggest a lot. With all big names like Vikram Gokhale, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Satish Alekar, Ashok Saraf and Shivaji Satam coming together, the film has already generated curiosity, since the day it was announced.
The shooting and post production of this film is now complete and it is all set to release on 18th October 2018. And this is certainly a good news for the month of October. With one Lavani already out on social sites, now we also come to know that Mr. Shivaji Satam is playing a Parsi gentleman . Moreover it is about some mystery involving these morning walk group of senior citizens. So, obviously it is the topic of interest.
