Teaser of ‘Yek Number’ keeps audience guessing
Teaser of much talked about forthcoming big banner Marathi film ‘Yek Number’ has been released. And it has kept the audience guessing, about the subject of this film.

The teaser begins with a political meeting, where the speaker says, “To all my Hindu brothers, sisters, and mothers gathered.” Hearing this, the strong voices of the people from Maharashtra are seen responding enthusiastically. The next moment, riots and fights are seen, and the faint voice of Thackeray Saheb is heard. So, what do you gather from this teaser? Is it a biography on Balasaheb or inspiration received from his leadership?

‘Yek Number’ is being presented by Zee Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, produced by Sahyadri Films and is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. This film, which will be released on 10th October 2024, has music by Ajay- Atul. Speaking about this film director Rajesh Mapuskar says, “When I heard the story of this film, I thought this is the best opportunity for me to present it in my own way. Now, I am curious to know, how the audience will accept my presentation.”
‘Phullwanti’ title track released
The much awaited Marathi film ‘Phullwanti’ is getting ready for release on 11th October 2024 in theatres all over Maharashtra. In the meanwhile, the grand title track of this film was released for music lovers. Performing her dance skills in her own style gorgeous actress Prajaktta Mali will be the main attraction of this film.
The title track of the film will therefore present the rich culture of the dance art form of Phulwanti during the Peshwa period. This song which is penned by Vaibhav Joshi, Vishwajeet Joshi & Snehal tarde is rendered by singer Aryaa Ambekar on the music of Avinash Vishwajeet. Cinematography is by Umesh Jadhav, while cinematography is by Mahesh Limaye.

Since this film is a music based historical film more prominence is given to dances and music. Based on Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare’s creation ‘Phulwanti’, the story of this film is written by Pravin Vitthal Tarde and is directed by Snehal Pravin Tarde.
Grandma Vandana Gupte’s special song for Ganapati Bappa
Every year during Ganapati festival, new songs keep coming dedicated to Bappa. This time, popular Marathi actress Vandana Gupte along with renowned singer Uttara Kelkar has come up with a solo album dedicated to Lord Ganapati. Suitably titled ‘Parvati Vandana’ this album has been released by Aditya Nayar Productions. And produced by Guru Nayar Productions.

This song on grandma and grandson is rendered by singer Uttara Kelkar along with Child singer Aditya G Nayar. On the lyrics penned by Kautuk Shirodkar is composed by music director Praveen Kunwar. Through this song you will find Grandma telling the importance of Ganapati festival to ger grandson.”
After ‘Zimma 2′ Hemant Dhome announces ‘Fasclass Dabhade’
After uniting with T Series, Colour Yellow Productions and Chalchitra Mandali have bounced back with their new Marathi film ‘Fasclass Dabhade’. Recently, they made announcement of this new film to be directed by Hemant Dhome. Having experienced the success of ‘Zimma 2′, the film lovers are looking forward to watch his new cinematic entertainment. The makers of this film have already announced the release date of this film as 15th November 2024.

The producers of this film have already unveiled the first look of this film, which is a story of two crazy brothers. The poster of this film shows Amey wagh, Kshiti Jog and Siddharth Chandekar riding on a tractor. Their names are Sonu, Pappu and Tayadi, which shows their strong family bonding. Writer-director Hemant Dhome says that he has presented is own life experiences through this film and has shot this film at his native place and that too on his own fields to give a perfect local feel.
Gashmeer Mahajani to play Venkatesh Shastri in ‘Phullwanti’
Having made an announcement about their film ‘Phullwanti’ with Prajakta Mali in title role of a dancer during Peshwa period, Producers Mangesh Pawar & Co. & Shiv Om Creations Pvt. Ltd; have now disclosed the name of Gashmeer Mahajani, who will play the lead role opposite Prajakta Mali in this film. The film is directed by Snehal Pravin Tarde, who is making her debut as a director through this film.
Through the teaser of this film, the personality of Venkatshastri has been unveiled, which speaks about his presence during Peshwa era. Based on Late Babasaheb Purandare’s novel ‘Phulwanti’, the dialogues of this film are penned by Pravin Tarde. The film is all set to release on 11th October 2024.

Pushkar Jog & Anand Pandit ready with their next film ‘Taboo’
After making quality Marathi films like ‘Tee Aani Tee’, ‘Well Done Baby’, ‘Victoria’, ‘Baapmanus’ and ‘Musafira’ on variety of subjects, Anand Pandit Motion Pictures Pushkar Jog have once again come together, to present their new film ‘Taboo’. Shooting of this film has concluded recently and this film will be released early next year. This film is written and directed by Pushkar Jog.

Pushkar Jog himself is playing lead role in this film opposite Hemal Ingale. New actress Purvee Mundada will be making making her debut through this film. Dev Gill to make his debut in Marathi film ‘Aho Vikramarka’
South Superstar Dev Gill will be making his debut as an action hero in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Aho Vikramarka’ which is being made under his own Dev Gill production. After announcement of this film, there was curiosity among Dev’s fans about this film. So, his fans have made a 75 feet tall poster for their hero, which has become viral on social media. An action filled trailer of this film has also been released.

In this film Dev Gill plays a dashing Police Officer Speaking about this film, Dev says that he has produced this film for his mother and is confident that it will entertain audience. Dev respects Maharashtrian culture, as he originally belonged to Pune. Dev has received support from Marathi artistes Sayaji Shinde, Pravin Tarde, Tejaswini Pandit and Anil Nagarkar in this film. Three Big banners to release ‘Paani’ on 18th October 2024
Rajashree Entertainment, Priyanka Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures and Mahesh Kohare’s Kothare Vision Pvt. Ltd have come together to release forthcoming Marathi film ‘Paani’ on 18th October 2024. With this film Adinath Kothare will be making his debut as a director. The story of this film is written by Adinath Kothare along with Nitin Dixit.

The strong starcast of this film comprises of Adinath Kothare, Rucha Vaidya, Subodh Bhave, Rajit Kapoor, Kishore Kadam, Nitin Dixit, Sachin Goswami, Mohanabai, Shripad Joshi and Vikas Pandurang Patil . ‘Vaalvi’ bags National award for Best Marathi film
The 70th National best film awards have been announced recently. Paresh Mokashi’s film ‘Vaalvi’ has bagged the best Marathi film National award this year. This thrill-com film produced by Zee Studios and Maysabha Karmanook Mandali is directed by Paresh Mokashi. With story, screenplay and dialogues by Paresh Mokashi and Madugandha Kulkarni, this film stars Swapnil Joshi, Anita Date, Subodh Bhave and Shivani Surve in the lead roles.

‘Vaalvi’ being the first Marathi thrill-com film had received good response even from Non Marathi film lovers, because of its new subject. Reacting to this happy moment, Director Paresh Mokashi said, “This is a very happy moment. This award is not my individual award, but it is for my entire team. I am also grateful to the audience.
