Shreyas Talpade returns to small screen with ‘Gulmohar’ on Zee Yuva

Ever since its launch Zee Yuva Marathi television channel has been offering some quality programmes with new subjects. And, the recently concluded limited episode serial ‘Rudram’ is the best example. In this serial we saw Mukta Barve & Kiran Karmarkar in different roles besides many talented artistes in the supporting cast. Even otherwise, this channel has presented serials with variety of subjects, to invite the attention of all age groups. Now, from 22nd January 2018 at 9.30 pm prime time, Zee Yuva will present a new serial ‘Gulmohur’ with series of stories revolving around love, relationship and emotions.
In the very first episode, there is surprise for the home viewers, as Former Marathi actor and present Bollywood star Shreyas Talpade will return to small screen through the first story in this serial. Along with him will be seen Girija Godbole in the lead role. Speaking about his return to small screen, Shreyas Talpade said that when director Mandar Deosthali approached him with this offer, he liked the story and immediately said ‘Yes’ to him. Now, it remains to be seen how the home viewers would respond to welcome Shreyas, who will be opening the innings for ‘Gulmohar’.
Trailer of ‘Aapla Manus’ launched

After receiving overwhelming response for the first look of their film ‘Aapla Manus‘, Viacom18 Motion Pictures & Ajay Devgn along with director Satish Rajwade launched the trailer of their film in presence of lead artistes of this film comprising of Nana Patekar, Sumeet Raghavan and Irawati Harshe. From the first look, this film gives an indication that it is a cinematic presentation of a Gujarathi and Hindi play of Paresh Rawal, the play itself is an adaptation of Marathi play ‘Katkone Trikon‘ , which had won several popular awards few years ago.
The trailer gives a glimpse about the lives of a young urban couple Rahul and Bhakti Gokhale, played by Sumeet Raghavan and Irawati Harshe and the complexity of the relationship with the father. The unexpected death of the father marks the entry of Senior investigating Inspector, Maruti Nagargoje, played by Nana Patekar into

their lives. Maruti Nagargoje turns their world upside down interrogating their beliefs about life and family.
‘Aapla Manus‘ film does have a stellar cast comprising of versatile artistes like Nana Patekar, Sumeet Raghavan & Irawati Harshe, who have worked under the captaincy of Satish Rajwade, which has raised expectations of the Marathi film lovers. For Nana Patekar his role in this film is a big challenge, after his superb performance in ‘Natasamrat‘.
Satyajit Prabhu – A Multi-talented musician and a versatile orchestra conductor

Sachin Khedekar to chat live during 8th Yashwant Int. Film Fest

Every International film festival has its own identity and Yashwant Film Festival too is known for its distinctiveness. This year it will be their 8th year and the festival is all set to start from Thursday 19th January 2018 at the Y.B.Chavan Centre , Mumbai. The highlight of this year’s Film festival will be the live chat with versatile actor Sachin Khedekar in the special programme held in memory of Late Smita Patil and it will be held on Saturday 20th January 2018 at 5 pm.
The festival will be hosted jointly by Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan and Pune Film Foundation, with the presence of former Agriculture Minister of India Mr. Sharad Pawar and M.P. Ms. Supriya Sule. The other dignitaries who are expected to be present on this occasion will be Jabbar Patel, Sharad Kale, Hemant Takle, Nitin Pai, Mahendra Teredesai & Sanjay Bansode This year, Veteran Film maker Mr. Ramesh Sippy will be felicitated for his contribution to Indian film industry. The festival will go on till 25th January 2018 with the screening of 85 films selected from different countries.
‘College Journey’ music launched in a big way

Music of forthcoming Marathi film ‘College Journey’ was launched in a big way by special guests popular actor Vijay Kadam and renowned director Deepak Kadam in presence of dignitaries like Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal President Meghraj Bhosale, Vijay Khochikar, Ramesh Salgaonkar, Avinash Tupe, Dr. Rajendra Padole and artistes of the film.

Top Television celebrity Shilpa Shinde wants to do a Marathi film

There is no doubt that Today’s top television celebrity Shilpa Shinde is the most talented TV actresses, who had became a household name with her performance in popular TV serials ‘Chidiya Ghar‘ and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai‘. But, her entry in the Bigg Boss 11 (2017) show brought her name as well as fame. No wonder, she was judged the winner of this show, when Bollywood celebrity and presenter of the show Salman Khan declared her name, in presence of her mother.

39 year old actress actually wanted to become a film star, but ten years ago she In 2007, she turned a TV actress with her appearance in a serial called ‘Maayka‘. According to reliable sources, Shilpa did try to get into Marathi and Hindi films, but didn’t succeed much. However, after winning the Big Boss 11 Contest, Shilpa Shinde has expressed her wish to do a Marathi film, if the script offered to her was good. Today, Marathi films are story based and when senior artistes like Nana Patekar, Sachin Khedekar, Sonali Kulkarni ( Sr.) can find lead roles, suited to them, it is possible that Shilpa may also find a suitable role in Marathi film, based on her present popularity.
‘Yuntum’ promises unusual music

Ever since the launch of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Yuntum‘ there has been a lot of curiosity about the unusual title of this film. But, recently during the music launch of this film, the makers of this film have promised unusual music , as new experiments have been tried by music directors Chinar – Mahesh . Highlight of this film is that ‘Sa Re Ga Ma‘ TV programme finalist Yogesh Ranmale is making his debut as a film playback singer through this film. Another highlight is that renowned film maker Ravi Jadhav has turned presenter of this film. Ravi was impressed with the voice of Yogesh, during this musical TV programme and suggested his name for this film.
There are four songs in ‘Yuntum‘ film and the other playback singers are Harshawardhan Wavare, Anandi Joshi and Chhagan Chougule. But, for Yogesh Ranmale it was an amazing experience while singing the title song of this film. Produced by Amol Kale and directed by Sameer Asha Patil, this film stars Sayaji Shinde, Vaibhav Kadam, Apurva Shelgaonkar, Aishwarya Patil, Akshay Thorat and Hrishikesh Zagade in lead roles. The film is all set to release on 2nd February 2018 all over Maharashtra.

हृदया सिनेक्राफ्टचे डॉ. श्रीयांश कपाले आणि ओम्स आर्ट्सच्या डॉ. संतोष पोटे यांनी ब्लिंग मोशन पिक्चर्सचे सागर वंजारी यांच्या सहकार्याने ‘व्हिडिओ पार्लर‘ या चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली आहे. अभिनेता संदीप पाठक, ओंकार गोवर्धन, कल्याणी मुळे, गौरी कोंगे, पार्थ भालेराव, रितेश तिवारी यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत. चित्रपटाचं लेखन दिग्दर्शन प्रसाद नामजोशी यांनी केलं आहे.
चित्रपट करण्यासाठी विषय शोधत दिग्दर्शक असलेला विक्रम त्याच्या मूळ गावी जातो. तिथं गेल्यानंतर त्याला त्याच्या बालपणीच्या आठवणी जाग्या होतात. व्हिडिओ पार्लरमध्ये तो ज्याच्याबरोबर चित्रपट पहायचा, त्या बालमित्रालाला वीस वर्षांमध्ये भेटलेला नाही. त्याचं यशापयश, प्रेम, अपमान, मित्राचं आयुष्य या सगळ्यातून त्याला मिळालेला चित्रपटासाठी विषय असं या चित्रपटाचं कथासूत्र आहे.
Amol Gole’s debut directorial film ‘Nashibvaan’ selected for PIFF

Renowned cinematographer of Marathi and Hindi films Amol Gole is making his debut as director with his forthcoming Marathi film ‘Nashibvaan’. And the good news for him during this new year is that this film has been selected for screening at the prestigious Pune International Film festival ( PIFF) . Amol himself has made announcement of this news on his social networking page.
It may be recalled that as a cinematographer Amol Gole made his debut as an independent cinematographer with Hindi film ‘Stanley Ka Dabba’ which was directed by Amol Gupte. Thereafter he shot films like Hawaa Hawaai, Elizabeth Ekadashi, Touring Talkies, Investment, Gajar and ‘Ranga Patanga’. Amol has also shot the internationally acclaimed documentary ‘Nero’s Guests’ based on Journalist Palagummi Sainath’s work in Vidarbha on issues related to the agrarian crisis.
Pune Film Festival has been lucky for Amol Gole, as in the past at this film festival he has won awards for best cinematography for the film ‘Elizabeth Akadashi’. Also, the Best International Marathi Film Award was received by film ’Rangaa Patangaa’ which was shot by him as a cinematographer. Therefore, there are big expectations from his film ‘Nashibvaan’ too, where he has used his creativity in the role of director.
First Teaser of ‘Aamhi Doghi’ Released

The first teaser of ‘Aamhi Doghi‘ is now out.media persons had an opportunity to witness the same on big screen, during the press show of the film ‘Hostel Days‘. And, it was nice to see two talented actresses playing close friends in this teaser. ‘Aamhi Doghi‘, as the name depicts, is the story of two girls who despite different mindsets and yet inseparable, follow diverse paths with the same goal. The story is about Amala, played by Mukta Barve, and Savitri Sardeshmukh played by Priya Bapat who are all set to meet you on February 16 at theatres near you in Maharashtra.
‘Aamhi Doghi‘ is a Directional debut by Pratima Joshi- an actress & Costume designer turned director. In the past, she had assisted in direction for films like ‘Bindhast‘,’Dayaraa‘ and ‘Bangarwadi‘. ‘Aamhi Doghi‘ revolves around the story close to the heart of today’s young women in all types of relationships including that of mother-daughter, father-daughter or friends. According to Pratima, the subject of this film is emotively related to every young girl and hence, will help the young audience to think around sensitively. Sanjay Chhabria, Director of Everest Entertainment has shouldered the responsibility of production and presentation of this film.
