Indian Idol fame Jagadish Chauhan to play lead role in ‘Vijayee Bhav’
The forthcoming Marathi film ‘Vijayee Bhav (विजयी भव)’, which is a combination of sports and politics, is all set to release soon. The popular Indian game of Kabaddi is portrayed on political grounds through this film. Jagdish Chauhan, who has made a name for himself in Indian Idol Marathi, will be the main attraction of this film.
‘Vijayee Bhav!’ is produced by Swastik Motion Pictures Productions and presented by Kenil Entertainment. The film is directed by Shailesh Patel and Atul Sonar. Singer-actor Jagdish Chauhan will be seen in the lead role and he will be paired with Pooja Jaiswal. Jagdish, who is skilled in singing, has reached every household in Maharashtra through the first episode of Indian Idol Marathi. He was the runner-up in this show which was a test of Jagdish’s singing style. Jagdish has earlier portrayed three personalities in the play ‘Jhala Mahar Pandharinath’. He has sung for the Marathi film ‘Jiddi’. Along with Jagdish and Pooja, the film also stars Sonali Dalvi, Vinayak Ketkar, Jagdish Pawar and Vikram Mehta, etc.
The story of this film is written by Jagdish Pawar and the screenplay is by Atul Sonar. Mukund Mahale has written dialogues with Atul Sonar. Songs are penned by lyricist Virendra Ratne and sung by Jagdish Chauhan, Kavita Ram, Manjima Goswami, Vaishali Made, Noora Singh Aade, Swapnil Chauhan. These songs have been composed by composer Kabir Shakya. Background Music by Swanil Nangi and Cinematography is done by DOP Lalji Beldar. Choreography by Vikrant Dev, Nadi Rasal, Ram Devan, Deepak Turi.
New Marathi film will present Jay Dudhane & Neha Mahajan together
New Marathi film ‘Gadad (गडद)‘ will present a unique experiment based on scuba diving, which will be for the first time in Marathi cinema. Renowned TV show MTV Splitsvilla X3 winner and ‘Marathi Bigg Boss’ fame Jay Dudhane and well known Marathi actress Neha Mahajan will be in the lead roles in ‘Gadad’. The motion poster of ‘Gadad’, which was released a few days ago, had already invited the attention of the film lovers and created curiosity.
‘Gadad’ is produced by Captain Awadhesh Singh and Varsha Singh under the banner of Elula Future Vision Pvt. Writer- director Pradnyesh Kadam has chosen this challenging subject like scuba diving in his directorial debut. The first shooting schedule of the film was completed recently in Maldives. The next halt of the two will be in Goa. Although this is the first time that the audience will get to see scuba diving in this movie, the mystery of what exactly is the plot has not been revealed yet.
Both Jay and Neha have had to work extremely hard for this film. They are learning new things and using them for the film Gadad. The duo will be seen in important roles in the film along with Shubhangi Tambale, Nitin Gawande and Aarti Shinde. DOP Venkatesh Prasad is doing the cinematography for the film. The lyrics have been penned by Abhishek Khankar and the music has been composed by singer-composer Rohit Shyam Raut.
Khandeshi Ahirani song used in film ‘Marathi Paul Padate Pudhe’
For the first time in Marathi film, Khandeshi Ahirani language has been used in the song of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Marathi Paul Padate Pudhe (मराठी पाऊल पडते पुढे)’. Khandeshi Ahirani Song with the title ‘Hou Porya Aner Kathnaa’ was officially launched at the Global Khandesh Festival held at Kalyan recently. It may be recalled that Ahirani language is spoken in Khandesh region of Maharashtra especially at places like Dhule, Jalgaon, Nandurbar and parts of Nashik.
During the launch of this song, lead pair of the film Chirag Patil and Siddhi Patne shaked their legs to entertain the invitees. Lyricist of the song and singer Pravin Mali, who has already been conferred with Jalgaon Bhushan Puraskar was present on this occasion. The song has picturised on Chirag Patil in this film. All the songs in this film have been composed by music director Sameer Khole.
Marathi film ‘Unaad’ selected for ZLIN Film Festival
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Ajit Arora, Chandresh J Bhanushali & Pritesh Thakkar , presented by Jio Studios and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar , the so called coming of age Marathi film ‘Unaad (उनाड)’ has been selected at the International Competition of Feature Films ,Youth Category at ZLIN Film Festival. This announcement has been made by director Aditya Sarpotdar on social media.
Based on the lives of three youths belonging to Koli community and their struggles in life, ‘Unaad’ stars Abhishek Bharate, Devika Daftardar, Ashutosh Gaikwad, Hemal Ingale, Avinash Khedekar, Pravin Prabhakar & Priyanka Tendolkar in lead roles. Written by Saurabh Bhave the screenplay of this film is written by Saurabh Bhave and Kalyani Pandit while dialogues are penned by Kalyani Pandit. Music by Gulraj Singh, cinematography by Lawrence D’cunha, Casting by Rohan Mapuskar, art by Mahesh Kudalkar , editing by Faisal Mahadik, Imran Mahadik and Bhavesh Todankar are the other credits of this film.
Manoj Bajpayee unveils trailer of a Marathi film

Trailer of Subodh Pawar’s film ‘Tarafa’ unveiled
The trailer of Director Subodh Pawar’s forthcoming Marathi film ‘Tarafa (तराफा )’ was unveiled recently. This film is all set to release all over Maharashtra on 6th May 2022. With the attraction of new pair of Ashwini Kasar and Pankaj Khamkar, this music based film has already raised the curiosity of film lovers. Moreover, besides directing, Subodh Pawar has also written the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics of ‘Tarafa’.
Along with Ashwini and Pankaj, the film also stars Dilip Dombe, Shravani Solaskar, Milind Dastane, Priyanka Kasle, Shashank Darane, Arvind Dhanu, Shivaji Redekar, Rajendra Jadhav, Narendra Jadhav, Pari Pimple, Anita Kulkarni, Kavita Chavan, Vijay Jadhav, Gajanan Karale, Babasaheb. Kate and Arjun Khatavkar have been paired with child actors Bhoomi Avinash Kudche and Gauri Avinash Kudche.

‘Tee Aani Shala’ Web series poster unveiled
The poster of forthcoming Marathi Web Series ‘Tee Aani Shala’ was unveiled by chief guest and popular Member of Parliament Mr. Udayanraje Bhosale recently in Pune. This also discloses that newcomer Anushree Mane will be playing the lead role in this series. Opposite her will be youth icon Adinath Jadhav as lead hero. The first episode of this web series will be released on the 3rd May, an auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, by Studio 09 Productions on Youtube channel.
Speaking on this occasion, the chief guest recalled memories of his schooldays and shared them with all those present on the occasion. He said that the happy memories of Schooldays has always played an important part in everybody’s life and therefore this series which deals with this subject, will surely be welcomed by all. Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali come face to face in ‘Chandramukhi’
Marathi film ‘Chandramukhi (चंद्रमुखी)’ which is all set for release on 29th April is the topic of discussion among Marathi film lovers, as the promotion of this film has already impressed them. Now, the fresh talk is about the Lavani in this film, which is pictured on Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali, who have come face to face for this musical jugalbandi.
This Lavani has lyrics by Guru Thakur with music composed by Ajay Atul. Singers like Madhura Datar, Priyanka Barve and Vishwajeet Borwankar have rendered their voices for this Lavani with choreography by Deepali Vichare. Speaking about the different forms of Lavanis in this film, director Prasad Oak says, “ We have tried to offer this traditional form of dance in different ways through this film.”
