‘Bhetali Tu Punha 2′ announced with new director Jayant Pawar
On 28th July ‘Bhetali Tu Punha’ completed four years of its release. On this occasion, the producers of this film Girish Parab, Aakash Pendharkar, Sachin Narkar and Vikas Pawar have announced on social media the sequel of this film ‘Bhetali Tu Punha 2′ with new director Jayant Pawar. Actor Vaibhav Tatwavadi and actress Pooja Sawant will be seen together once again in this sequel.
As a director Jayant Pawar had directed many TV serials but in films he will be making his debut as a director through this film. The previous film was known for excellent performances by the lead pair and supporting artistes besides good music and best technical presentation. Now, the Marathi film lovers will be keen to know the progress of the love story of this couple . But, they will have to wait for some time, till the release date is announced.

Mukta Barve and Umesh Kamat are popular stars today, as their TV serial ‘Ajunahi Barsaat Aahe’ has invited all the attention of the home viewers. Now, this popular pair has performed in an audio drama titled ’61 minutes’ which is a original thriller specially made for Storytel Marathi. Along with Mukta and Umesh the other main artistes of this audio drama are Omkar Govardhan, Samir Patil and Rohit Kokate. We are all aware that audiobook format has popularized among the entertainment lovers and Storytel have picked up the right artistes for this audio drama written and directed by Tushar Gunjal who had earlier written audio series like ‘Ipsita’, ‘Dharna’ and ‘Affair’ for Storytel.
’61 Minutes’ revolves around four different characters Mayur, Nisha, Swanand and Aaware who have been kidnapped by a kidnapper and kept in a dark room, for the reason not known to four of them. They listen to an announcement on loud speaker wherein they are asked to solve a puzzle which is relevant to their past life. How are 61 minutes important to them is what this audio drama is all about. It’s a new experiment tried by these artistes, which the makers feel that will be appreciated by their fans. Motion Poster of ‘Yaari Dosti 2′ unveiled
Films based on friendship have always been favourite of cinema lovers. And every film maker tries to present this subject in a different way. After the grand success of their previous film ‘Yari Dosti’ the makers of this film have now unveiled the poster of the sequel of this film ‘Yaari Dosti 2′ recently on social media. Shantanu Anant Tambe, who had written and directed the earlier version ‘Yaari Dosti’ will also write and direct this sequel . Shantanu is confident that the sequel also will garner a lot of love as well as appreciation looking at the immense number of views 8.2 million as well as likes (52,000) on youtube.
As suggested by the title, this film is also set out to revolve around the intricacies of the intriguing world of undying friendship and undiluted loyalty towards one another. According to the makers, ‘ Yaari Dosti 2’ is expected to astonish the audience by setting out to present yet another hitherto unexplored facet of friendship which will stir the consciousness of the audiences on the whole. Singer and Music director Amruta Natu has so far presented variety of songs through her Single Music videos. Now, with her new Music video ‘Zimmaad’ she offers a refreshing experience to music lovers. Prajakta Mali releases her collection of Poems ‘Prajaktaprabha’
As an actress, dancer and anchor Prajakta Mali has already established herself in Marathi film and television industry. Now, she will be seen in a new role as a poet. Granthali have published collection of her poems and the same has been released at the hands of renowned poet and lyricist Praveen Davane. Present on this occasion as guests of honour were Amruta Khanvilkar, Pushkar Shrotri, Abhijit Panse and Akshay Bardapurkar.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Pravin Davane said, “The reason behind Prajakta to turn as a poet is hidden in her collection of poems. You will notice her sensitivity and softness of mind while reading her poems.” He also wished her all the success in her new journey as a poet. Reacting herself Prajakta said, “I was writing these poems not with the intention of posting them on social media or getting them published but was writing for myself. Never expected that it would turn into a collection and get published. So, it is a big surprise for me and I am happy that they found a publisher. “
This collection is of Marathi, English and Hindi poems written in simple language.

The third battle of Panipat which took place in January 1761 between Maratha Empire and the invading Afghan army was one of the largest and most eventful battle fought in the 18th century. This battle reported largest number of fatalities in a single between two armies. Marathas fought this battle bravely but due to this defeat, they were taken as slaves to Balochistan. Based on this big event in the history will be the forthcoming Marathi film ‘Baloch’ which is produced by Vishwgunj Pictures and Gulab Productions.
‘Baloch’ is written and directed by Prakash Janardan Pawar and stars Pravin Vitthal Tarde in the lead role.
