अतुल गोगावले दिसणार सूत्रसंचालकाच्या भूमिकेत
आपल्या संगीतातून संपूर्ण संगीतप्रेमींना वेड लावणाऱ्या ‘अजय-अतुल’ या प्रख्यात संगीतकार जोडीतील अतुल गोगावले आता एका नव्या भूमिकेत दिसणार आहेत.अतुल आता छोट्या पडद्यावर सूत्रसंचालकाच्या भूमिकेतून महाराष्ट्रातील भारतरत्नांची यशोगाथा उलगडणार आहेत. ‘एबीपी माझा’ या वृत्तवाहिनी वर प्रजासत्ताक दिनापासून ‘आपले भारतरत्न’ हा कार्यक्रम प्रसारित होणार आहे. या कार्यक्रमातून महाराष्ट्र जन्मभूमी किंवा कर्मभूमी असलेल्या ९ भारतरत्नांची यशोगाथा महाराष्ट्रातील जनतेसमोर घेऊन येणार आहे.
डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर, आचार्य विनोबा भावे, महर्षी धोंडो केशव कर्वे, जेआरडी टाटा, स्वरभास्कर पं. भीमसेन जोशी, गानकोकिळा लता मंगेशकर, सचिन तेंडुलकर, नानाजी देशमुख, पांडुरंग काणे या सर्वांची नावं माहित असली तरी त्यांच्या कार्याची संपूर्ण माहिती अनेकांना नाही, ती देण्याचा प्रयत्न ‘आपले भारतरत्न’ या मालिकेतून करण्यात आला आहे. “भारतरत्न या सर्वोच्च नागरी पुरस्काराने सन्मानीत झालेल्या अभिवंदनीय व्यक्तीमत्त्वात महाराष्ट्रातील व्यक्तींची संख्या सर्वाधिक आहे, त्यांची माहिती संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्राला देणाऱ्या कार्यक्रमाचा भाग मला होता आले याचा खूप आनंद वाटतो” असे अतुल गोगावले यांनी सांगितले.
Padmini Kolhapure finds a suitable role in ‘Prawaas’ to display her hobby
Besides acting many artistes are also good at something else. But, they pursue it as their hobby. Some are good at sports, some are good singers , photographers and so on. However, not all of them get an opportunity to display their hobby through the roles they portray in films. Popular Bollywood and Marathi film actress Padmini Kolhapure is an exception. She has found a suitable role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Prawaas’, which is due for release shortly.
Padmini is very good at painting and in this film she has found a lead role of a painting artist that too another versatile Marathi actor Ashok Saraf. When this role was offered to her by director Shashank Udapurkar, Padmini was in tears, after hearing the script. So much she was moved after hearing the story. More than that she was happy that she could do lot of paintings during the shooting schedule of this film.
The film also stars Vikram Gokhale, Rajit Kapoor & Shashank Udapurkar. The shooting of this film has taken place in America and Manali and the music has been scored by Bollywood music directors Salim Suleman, with lyrics by Guru Thakur. Popular singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Sukhvinder Singh and Hariharan have rendered their voices for the songs in this film.
Kamlesh Sawant to play Gomaji Patil in ‘Shaheed Bhai Kotwal’
Kamlesh Sawant has already established himself as an actor through variety of memorable roles in Hindi and Marathi films so far. Now, he will be seen playing an important role of a committed freedom fighter Shahid Gomaji Patil in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Shaheed Bhai Kotwal’, which is due for release on 24th January 2020.
Produced by Pravin Dattatray Patil and directed by Eknath Desale and Parag Sawant the story, screenplay and dialogues are penned by Eknath Desale. Besides the central character of Bhail Kotwal, the film also revolves around the brave father and son duo Gomaji Patil and Hiraji Patil. Shahid Bhai Kotwal formed his own army to fight British rulers and sacrificed his life at the young age of 31. Actor Kamalesh Swant who plays the character of Gomaji is confident that the characters in this film would inspire the audience.
The film also stars Ashutosh Patki,Rujuta bagwe, Nishigandha Wad, Madhavi Juvekar, Arun Nalawade, Ganesh Yadav, Pankaj Vishnu, Milind dastane, Siddheshwar Zadbuke, Srirang Deshmukh, Abhay Rane, Paresh Hindurao & Prajakta Dighe.
Marathi film ‘Mann Fakiraa’ to be released this ‘Valentine’s Day’
First teaser of the Marathi film ‘Mann Fakiraa’ was recently unveiled on the Social media by the producer S N Productions and Smita Vinay Ganu, Nitin Prakash Vaidya, Om Prakash Bhatt, Sanjay Shankarwar and Kishor Patel. This film , which is a romantic drama is being released on the Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2020. This film will be the directorial debut of leading Marathi actress Mrunmayee Pratibha Deshpande.
Suvrat Joshi, Sayali Sanjeev, Anjali Patil and Ankit Mohan will be in the lead roles in the film. It’s a story of a dilemma between newly married couple and their past life. ‘They love each other or not…? Yes, they do…no, perhaps not…,’ the tagline of the films waves on these lines. The teaser reveals more facts about the film and the story which revolves around very delicate relationship between the two. The teaser also throws light on the fact that it deals with the subject which would be very close to the hearts of today’s youth.
Suvrat Joshi is playing Bhushan while Sayali Sanjeev is in the role of Ria. Anjali Patil and Ankit Mohan are in similarly key roles in the film and are featured in the teaser too. Bhusha-Ria tie the knot through arranged marriage tradition. They are happily married for quite some time, before they come across their pasts and their affairs they had before the marriage. रुपेरी पडद्यावर दिसणार शिवरायांचा ‘शिवप्रताप’
नाटक व मालिकांच्या माध्यमातून इतिहासाची पाने उलगडल्यानंतर अभिनेता खासदार डॉ. अमोल कोल्हे आता छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या जीवनचरित्रातील तेजोमय घटनांचे महान पर्व ‘शिवप्रताप’ या तीन चित्रपटांच्या मालिकेतून रुपेरी पडद्यावर आणण्यासाठी सज्ज झाले आहेत. ‘जगदंब क्रिएशन्स’ या संस्थेतर्फे तीन मराठी चित्रपटांची घोषणा नुकतीच करण्यात आली. रुपेरी पडद्यावर यानिमित्ताने शिवशाही अनुभवायला मिळणार आहे.

Much awaited Marathi horror film ‘Kaaal’ to be released in Russia
Set to hit the screens all over the Maharashtra on January 24 2020, much awaited Marathi horror film ‘Kaaal’ is also to be premiered on the opening day of 4th Bollywood Film Festival in Moscow. One of its kind of horror film in Marathi, Kaal has already created buzz in the film industry after it was announced and the trailer of this film became hit on the social media. Incidentally, ‘Kaaal’ would be first Marathi film to release in Russia. After its release in Maharashtra on January 24, the film will be released on 100 screens in 30 cities in Russia.
After watching the trailer of the film, the organisers of the Festival and the company involved in the organisation approached the producers Hemant Ruparel and Ranjit Thakur of Frames Productions. “The organisers were so impressed by the story of the film and its treatment that they wanted to release the film in Russia. The subject around which the film revolves has huge demands in film industry. After initial interaction, the release of the film in Russia was finalised. It is a proud moment for us as producers as the first Marathi film to be released in Russia is ours.” said Hemant Ruparel and Ranjit Thakur of Frames Productions
‘Kaaal’, which is written, directed and edited by D Sandeep, has been produced by Hemant Ruparel and Ranjit Thakur of Frames Production, Nitin Prakash Vaidya and D Sandeep. The film features Satish Gejage, Sanket Vishwasrao, Shreyas Behere, Rajkumar Jarange, Vaibhavi Chavan and Gayatri Chighlikar in pivotal roles.
According to the makers, The film revolves around the concept of Paranormal Activities and makes it different from other horror films as none has handled this topic so far. Russia and CIS has huge following of such content and proved one of the reasons why the Kaaal was picked for the Festival.
‘Jai Malhar’ fame Devdatta Nage turns ‘Doctor Don’
Devdatta Nage who played an important character of Khanderaya in popular mythological TV serial (Jai Malhar) will now be playing a contrasting title character of ‘Doctor Don’ in forthcoming Marathi serial on Zee Yuva. This serial is all set to be telecast soon. Though the title of this serial sounds strong, it will be a comedy subject according to the makers. With this serial Devdatta Nage will be making his comeback on television after two years.
It may be recalled that Zee Yuva channel has been presenting variety of subjects through various serial to entertain the home viewers. Some of the popular serials have been ‘Freshers’, ‘Bunmaska’, ‘Love Lagna Locha’, ‘Girls Hostel’ , ‘Ek Ghar Mantarlela’ besides offering reality shows like ‘Yuva Singer Ek Number’ , ‘Sangeet Samraat’ and ‘Yuva Dancing Queen’. TV Star Hruta Durgule to play ‘Ananya’ on big screen
Sensational Marathi play ‘Ananyaa’ which received overwhelming response from Marathi stage audience in the recent past, will now be presented on the big screen. The play is still drawing good crowds, with Rutuja Bagwe playing the title role. Now, TV star Hruta Durgule has been selected to play this central role in this new film ‘Ananya’. Incidentally, she will be making her debut in Marathi films through this film. Produced by Dhruv Das and Ravi Jadhav the film is directed by Pratap Fad.
The muhurat of this film was performed in Pune recently, with the beginning of film’s shooting. Though the play on this subject received good response, the makers of this film will take some cinematic liberties to appeal and inspire the film audience. Other artistes of this film are still to be finalised. The film will be released this year only, according to the makers.
National award winning film ‘Mhorkya’ to release on 24th January
During the 65th National awards Marathi film ‘Mhorkya’ won the best children’s film award. The film has also received appreciation at various national and international film festivals. Now, on 24th January 2020 this film will be released not only in India but also in different countries. Produced by Swastik Preeti Films and Aispais presentation, this film is written and directed by Amar Deokar.
