‘सरसेनापती हंबीरराव’ या ऐतिहासिक चित्रपटाचा मुहूर्त संपन्न
लेखक, दिग्दर्शक, अभिनेते प्रविण विठ्ठल तरडे यांनी आगामी ‘सरसेनापती हंबीरराव’ या भव्यदिव्य ऐतिहासिक चित्रपटाच्या मुहूर्त प्रसंगी एक आदर्श पायंडा निर्माण केला, कोणत्याही चित्रपटाचा मुहूर्त म्हटलं की तो एखाद्या नावाजलेल्या व्यक्तीच्या हस्ते करणे ही एक परंपरा आहे. मात्र आपल्या आगामी चित्रपटाच्या मुहूर्ताचा क्लॅप देण्याचा मान राज्याच्या विविध शहरातील चित्रपटगृहांच्या डोअर किपर्स, व्यवस्थापक आणि कर्मचारी यांना देण्यात आला.
यावेळी चित्रपटाचे लेखक, दिग्दर्शक प्रविण विठ्ठल तरडे, संदीप रघुनाथराव मोहिते पाटील, धर्मेंद्र सुभाष बोरा व सौजन्य सुर्यकांत निकम हे तीन निर्माते तसेच माजी खासदार रणजीतसिंह मोहिते पाटील, पोलिस अधीक्षक मिलिंद मोहिते पाटील, डीओपी महेश लिमये, ‘मुळशी पॅटर्न’ चित्रपटाचे निर्माते अभिजीत भोसले, सिटी प्राइड चित्रपटगृह समूहाचे व्यवस्थापक सुगत थोरात, क्रिएटिव्ह प्रोड्युसर रमेश परदेशी यांच्यासह औरंगाबाद, नाशिक, पुणे या शहरातील चित्रपटगृहांचे व्यवस्थापक, डोअर किपर्स, बुकिंग क्लार्क, प्रोजेक्टर ऑपरेटर्स आणि चित्रपटाचे कलाकार, तंत्रज्ञ उपस्थित होते.
शेतकर्यांच्या ज्वलंत प्रश्नावर भाष्य करणार्या ‘मुळशी पॅटर्न’ या चित्रपटाच्या यशानंतर प्रविण तरडे घेऊन येत असलेल्या या भव्य चित्रपटाची निर्मिती उर्विता प्रॉडक्शन्स यांची आहे. छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज आणि छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज या स्वराज्याच्या दोन्ही छत्रपतींचे सरसेनापती होण्याचा बहुमान हंबीरराव मोहिते यांनी मिळवला. अंदाजे ह्या वर्षाच्या अखेरीस हा चित्रपट प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीस येणार आहे .
Prasad Oak to direct Vishwas Patil’s creation ‘Chandramukhi’ on big screen
Vishwas Patil is renowned writer and his novel ‘Chandramukhi’ has received a very good response from Marathi readers. Now, his ‘Chandramukhi’ will see big screen. Planet Marathi’s Akshay Badlapurkar who had earlier produced films like ‘AB & CD’ and ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ will produce this film which will be directed by Prasd Oak, who recently directed ‘Hirakani’ which won popular awards.
However, it is not known as to who will play the title role in this film, which is based on the subject of politics and its link with Tamasha. And the beautiful Chandramukhi the central character obviously has prominent part in this film being an excellent dancer . To give justice to this novel written by a renowned writer, Prasad Oak seems to be the right choice as a director. Having proved his ability as a director in the recent past, he is now considered one of the talented directors the Marathi film industry has received of recent times. Moreover the writer- director combo has come together once again after the success of Hirakani.
Another highlight of this film is that the screenplay and dialogues of this film are penned by Chinmay Mandlekar. The teaser poster of this film has also been released on social media recently.
‘Bhaybheet’ will be TV star Poorva Gokhale’s debut Marathi film
Popular TV actress Poorva Gokhale who was seen in Marathi television serial ‘Kulvadhu’ in the past along with Subodh Bhave, will now be making her debut in Marathi films through forthcoming film ‘Bhaybheet’ which will be released on 28th February 2020. Incidentally, her co star in this film will also be Subodh Bhave.
Poorva has also done Hindi TV serials like ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’, ‘Koi Dil Mein hain’ and ongoing ‘Tujase Hai Rabata’. However,she had not done any Marathi film so far. With this debut film ‘Bhaybheet’, she found a fine role and a good script based on a suspense filled story and therefore accepted this role.
Directed by Deepak naidu, the film also stars Madhu Sharma, Girija Joshi, Mrunal Jadhav and Yatin Karyekar in prominent roles. The film’s music nd background music is by Nakash aziz while it is produced by Shankar Rohr and Deepak Narayani.
Release of ‘Shahid Bhai Kotwal’ to coincide with Republic day
Freedom Fighter Late Bhai Kotwal known for his famous slogan ‘Either freedom or heaven’ inspired others during the freedom struggle against the British rule in India. Now, a Marathi film (Shahid Bhai Kotwal) on his life is all set for release on 24th January 20120 which coincides with Republic Day of India. Recently, the exciting trailer of this film was launched on social media.
‘Shahid Bhai Kotwal’ is produced by Pravin Dattatray Patil and directed by Eknath Deslae and Parag Sawant , while Eknath Desle has written the story screenplay and dialogues of this film. Besides Bhai Kotwal, the film will also present the bravery act of father and son duo Gomaji Patil and Hiraji Patil.
The film presents the strong star cast comprising of Ashutosh Patki, Rutuja Bagwe, Nishigandha Wad, Madhavi Juvekar, Arun Nalawade, Ganesh Yadav, Pankaj Vishnu, Kamalesh Sawant , Milind Dastane, Siddheshwar Zadbuke, Shrirang Deshmukh, Abhay Rane, Paresh Hindurao, Prajakta Dighe in prominent roles. Tushar Vibhute has handled the camera, while music is composed by Ashok Patki, Rupesh Gondhali & Bharat Badekar with popular singers like Suresh Wadkar, Swapnil bandodkar , Aadarsh Shinde, Dnyaneshwar Meshram & Aishwarya Dele rendering their voice for the songs in this film.

Ever since the film ‘ Institute of Pavtology’ was launched its name has already generated a lot of curiosity among Marathi film lovers. Now, with the launch of teaser poster of this film, it has doubled their curiosity. One thing becomes clear that it will be a film with full of fun and entertainment. Also, this he film is due for release in April 2020.This film has been produced by Neha Gupta and Prasad Namjoshi with the help of Sanket Biyani, Sandesh Biyani, Vikas Vohra, Sushil Kanthed, Ritesh Chitlangia, with Prasad Namjoshi and Sagar Vanjari together directed this film.
Based on Environment friendly writer Santosh Shintre’s story, Prasad Namjoshi has written the screenplay and dialogues of this film. Highlight of this film is that actors Girish Kulkarni and Sayaji Shinde are playing lead roles in this film. But, who is this person sporting goggles in the poster and who utters all those dialogues scribbled on the poster with suitable caricatures? The film lovers will have to wait till further announcement or wait for the release of trailer.
Sai Tamhankar gets invite from her fans at Quatar
Popular Marathi actress Sai Tamhankar has made a good beginning during this new year with a superb performance in the film ‘Dhurala’. Even otherwise, her popularity has extended to overseas , wherever Marathi film lovers are spread. After its release in Maharashtra now ‘Dhurala’ is being released in Quatar. But, for this release her admirers want Sai to attend the premiere of this film and hence have extended a special invite to her to come to Quatar. And Sai has agreed to oblige them.
Speaking about this invite, Sai says, “Every artiste has a dream to reach out to audience all over the world. After receiving good response in Maharashtra our film is now reaching to people living in other countries. Therefore, every artiste in this film has been handed over the responsibility to release the film in different countries. So, it will be my responsibility to see my film’s release in Quatar. And I am excited about it to meet all those well wishers of ‘Dhurala’ and to know their reaction after watching the film.”

Poster unveiled for Sujay Dahake’s next film ‘Kesari’
National award winning director Sujay Dahake is now getting ready with his new film ‘Kesari’, which is produced by Santosh Ramchandani. Through this film Sujay will introduce a new hero Virat Madke. The film is set on the backdrop of Wrestling sport and revolves around a youngster from a poor family who makes all efforts to win the prestigious ‘Maharashtra Kesari’ Wrestling competition. In short it will be an inspiring tale of this youngster and his journey to achieve his ultimate goal.
Recently, the poster of this film was unveiled at the hands of former Union Minister and President of Maharashtra State Wrestling Federation Mr. Sharad Pawar, just before the final round of ‘Maharashtra Kesari’ competition, in presence of other dignitaries and unit members of Sujay’s team. So, after the thought provoking films like ‘Shala’, ‘Ajoba’ and ‘Phuntroo’, Sujay is all set to release ‘Kesari’ on 28th February 2020.
Poster of new Marathi film ‘Bonus’ Unveiled
The good news is that tall and stunning Marathi actress Pooja Sawant will be returning to Marathi films almost after two years. And for the first time she will share the screen with dashing Gashmeer Mahajani in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bonus’ which is produced by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartik D Nishandar in association with Lion Crown Entertainment. Written and Directed by Saurabh Bhave, this film is scheduled for release on 28th February 2020.
The poster of this film was released recently gives the Marathi film lovers a hint that it has a backdrop the vibrant and colourful Koliwada with the lead pair Gashmeer and Pooja sitting in a romantic pose with a suitcase next to them. And therefore, the poster has also raised curiosity about the film and the chemistry between Gashmeer and Pooja who are coming together for the first time.
Speaking about his film, Saurabh Bhave says “Bonus is that extra bit that we all deserve.. Extra bit of money, joy and happiness, But Unfortunately some people are too privileged and some are not.
