‘Miss You Miss’ will be a tribute to Ashwini Ekbote
Talented stage, television and film actress Ashwini Ekbote is no more. But, her last film ‘Miss you Miss’ will certainly pay tributes to her. Directed by Shyam Nimbalkar this will is all set for release on 17th January 2010 and the second poster of this film recently released on social media, clearly shows her photo prominently along with veteran actor Mohan Joshi and other lead artistes Bhagyesh Desai & Tejaswi Patil. The entire team of this film has paid tributes to Ashwini Ekbote, as clearly noticed on this poster.
In this film Ashwini Ekbote will be seen playing the mother of lead actress Tejaswi Patil. But, it is not known, who is playing the title role in this film. While speaking about his experience of working with Ashwini, director Shyam Nimbalkar says, “Ashwini always used to tell me on the sets of this film that she would like to be part of my next film too. Unfortunately, that did not happen. But, the show must go on. So, we decided to pay her tributes through this film.”
Produced by Sunil Raghunath Mahadik, Kshama Hippergekar and Rohandeep Singh, the film stars Mohan Joshi, Tejaswi Patil, Bhagyesh Desai and Kishore Nandalskar in lead roles.
Colourful Poster of ‘Tattaad’ launched
The colourful poster of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Tattaad’ which was launched on social media recently, has been inviting the attention of many film lovers. Clearly displaying the photo of a brass band player in uniform the poster also prominently displays the names of the new lead pair Chetan DK and Manasi Phatak. The film is expected to offer the story of a young brass band player .
PrimeFlix who have already earned a name in web streaming have presented this film. Written and directed by Rahul Gautam Ovhal the film is produced by Rakesh Bhogale and Pritam Mhetre.
Besides the lead pair of Chetan and Manasi, the film also stars Jyoti Subhash, Anil Nagarkar, Rahul Belapurkar, Sagar Pawar Prafulkumar kamble, Akshada Katkar, Sudarshan Kale, Rohit Jadhav, Rajesh More, Sharad Dhikule, Swapnil Dhongade, Prasad Ozarkar & Girija Jhad, The film will be released all over Maharashtra on 21st February 2020.
‘युवा डान्सिंग क्वीन’मधील ‘गंगा’चा हटके स्वैग

रिंकू राजगुरु बघतीये लग्नासाठी मुले
गणेश पंडित दिग्दर्शित ‘मेकअप’ चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलरमध्ये एकीकडे लग्नासाठी मुले बघत, त्यांचा नकार पचवणारी रिंकू राजगुरू अर्थात पूर्वी दुसरीकडे मात्र बिनधास्त, स्वच्छंदी आयुष्य जगताना दिसतेय. त्यामुळे यातील खरी पूर्वी कोण, ‘मेकअप’वाली पूर्वी कोण आणि मुळात पूर्वीचा हा मेकअप कशासाठी आहे, हे जरा प्रेक्षकांना विचार करायला लावणारे आहे.
प्रेक्षकांसाठी मनोरंजनाचे पॅकेज असणाऱ्या या चित्रपटात प्रतीक्षा लोणकर, मिलिंद सफई, राजन ताम्हाणे, सुमुखी पेंडसे, स्वाती बोवलेकर, तेजपाल वाघ आदी चेहरेही झळकणार असून ट्रेलर पाहता हा चित्रपट फूल टू धमाल दिसत आहे मात्र यात काही ट्विस्टही दिसत आहेत. हे ट्विस्ट नेमके कोणते आणि स्वप्नातल्या राजकुमाराची आतुरतेने वाट पाहणाऱ्या पूर्वीच्या आयुष्यात तिचा ‘हॉट’ राजकुमार येणार का, हे चित्रपट आल्यावरच कळेल. या चित्रपटाच्या निमित्ताने रिंकू राजगुरू आणि चिन्मय उदगीरकर यांची फ्रेश जोडी प्रेक्षकांना पाहायला मिळणार आहे. चिन्मय या सिनेमात पहिल्यांदाच डॉक्टरच्या भूमिकेतून प्रेक्षकांसमोर येत आहे. हा चित्रपट लवकरच प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येणार आहे.
‘Dhurala’ shows how Power game can split the family

In the past there have been many films on power games played by Politicians when it was for gaining or retaining power. Films like ‘Samana’, ‘Sinhasan’, ‘Sarkarnama’, ‘Zenda’, ‘Aajcha Diwas Majha’ and few others have presented different subjects on the backdrop of this power game in politics. Now, latest released film written by Kshitij Patwardhan and Directed by Sameer Vidwans shows how the power game can split the family of a popular Village Sarpanch Nivrrutti Anna Ubhe, after his sad demise.
Set on the backdrop of a Village-Ambegaon in rural Maharashtra, the film has shown how the selfish people including MLA of the district try to prevent the eldest son Navnath ( Ankush Chaudhari) from contesting the election to carry forward the family tradition. But, he finds the clever game played by MLA( Sabnis) to declare the constituency reserved for women and suggesting the name of his step mother (Alka Kubal) by supporting her for his own political gains. If this is not enough, his otherwise ambitious sister in law Monica (Sonalee) is also convinced to contest by their family’s rival Gadhve( Prasad Oak) . Navnath has no other option but to request his obedient wife Harshada ( Sai Tamhankar) to jump into the fray , making it a triangular contest within the family.
So, the real fight which begins, is witnessed only in the second half of this about 169 minutes long film, when all the interesting happenings take place one after the other. A lot of time has thus been wasted in the first half to show how the outsiders get involved with their dirty political games to split the family. What is remarkable to see, is the strong bonding in spite of the split noticed through some of the emotion filled scenes. There are few twists and turns in the film, including the climax, but what appeals the most are the dialogues exchanged between them by the important characters at different situations.
Veteran actress Alka Kubal is at her best . Ankush Choudhari displays his commitment to social work through his powerful character. Sai Tamhankar does very well , especially when she presents ‘Bharud’ during her election campaign. Sonalee has played the ambitious woman taking it as a challenge. Siddharth does well in his role of a lazy and happy go lucky husband, while Amey Wagh gets his share to show his skills through his ‘not so easy’ character. In the role of family’s opponents Prasad Oak dos well, while Umesh Kamat has very little to his share.
There is no scope for music in this film, but the clever cinematography captures the perfect village atmosphere and close up expressions of every important character very well. Full marks to all the artistes for their wonderful performances and to director Sameer for handling all those important scenes with the help of writer Khsitij . All in all, it is good political based timely film, but should have been shortened lengthwise, especially in the first half.

प्रेक्षकांना मनमुराद हसवायला भाग पडणारा ‘वाजवूया बँड बाजा’ हा चित्रपट येत्या २० मार्च २०२० ला महाराष्ट्रात सर्वत्र प्रदर्शित होत असून राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेते दिग्दर्शक शिवाजी लोटन पाटील यांच्या ह्या चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन केले आहे .
अमोल लक्ष्मण कागणे प्रस्तुत लक्ष्मण एकनाथराव कागणे,अमोल कागणे निर्मित ह्या चित्रपटाची खास झलक नुकतीच पुण्याच्या दगडूशेठ हलवाई गणपतीच्या चरणी वाहिली. निर्माते आणि दिग्दर्शक यांच्यासमवेत चित्रपटातील मुख्य कलाकार मंगेश देसाई ,प्रकाश गायकवाड डी.सी.पी पुणे, चिन्मय उदगीरकर आणि अभिनेत्री प्रीतम कागणे यांनी देखील या प्रसंगी उपस्थिती लावली.
तीन भावांच्या आयुष्यातल्या गमती-जमतींवर आधारलेली ‘वाजवुया बँड बाजा’ची मजेशीर कथा संदीप नाईक यांनी लिहिली आहे तर प्रसंगानुरूप हास्याची कारंजे उडवणारी पटकथा तसेच संवाद निशांत नाथराम धापसे यांनी लिहिली आहेत. निसर्गरम्य असा कॅनव्हास चितारला आहे छायाचित्रकार नागराज दिवाकर यांनी. शिवाय या प्रेमकथेला खरा साज चढवलाय तो ‘वाजवूया बँड बाजा’या चित्रपटातील गाण्यांनी. विजय गटलेवार आणि राहुल मिश्रा यांच्या संगीत लहरींवर गायक-आदर्श शिंदे यांच्या स्वरांनी तर चारचाँदच लावलेत.
Shweta Shinde to return to small screen with Zee Yuva’s new serial
Having made her presence felt through her performances in past serials like ‘Avantika’, ‘Avaghachi Sansaar’, & ‘Vadalvaat’, popular actress Shweta Shinde had switched over to produce successful serials like ‘Lagira Jhala Ji’ and ongoing ‘Mrs. Mukhyamantri’. But now, she has decided to return to acting field once again on small screen with Zee Yuva’s forthcoming Marathi serial. This will certainly make happy her admirers.
Shweta who is originally from Satara came to Mumbai for her college education and because of her beautiful looks , soon received modelling offers. In spite of opposition from home, she accepted these offers to earn name and fame . Thereafter never looked back as she received offers from serials and films. Now, after experiencing the role of a producer, she wants to make a comeback in acting through this new forthcoming serial on Zee Yuva, which stars ‘Jai Malhar’ fame Devdutt Nage in the lead opposite her.
Their photo together has already become viral on social media. From the poster it clearly indicates that Devdatt is in a different get up with Police trying to catch him, while Shweta on the other side is pulling the muffler tied around his neck.
Multi starrer ‘Medium Spicy’ has raised big expectations
Some films become the topic of discussion, after announcement of the film’s title. One such name is ‘Medium Spicy’ the forthcoming multi starrer Marathi film, which received a good response on social media, ever since the film was launched. Produced by Vidhi Kasliwal and presented by Landmark Films, this film is directed by Mohit Takalkar on the story from Irawati Karnik.
Set on the backdrop of Love, relationship it throws light especially on the marriage relationship and stars renowned artistes like Sai Tamhankar, Parna Pethe, Lalit Prabhakar, Neha Joshi, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Sagar Dshmukh, Ipshita, Neena Kulkarni, Ravindra Mankani in lead roles. The film has been shot in Mumbai and Pune and therefore obviously focused on the lifestyle of youngsters in these regions. The film is all set to release in coming new year 2020.
Chunky Pandey to make his debut in Marathi films through ‘Vikun Taak’
In the recent past we have seen many popular artistes from Bollywood making their debut in Marathi films. Some of them made guest appearance, while others found suitable important roles to make their presence felt. Now, Popular Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey is all set to make his debut in Marathi through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Vikun Taak’ which is all set to release exactly after a month, i.e. on 31st January 2020.
Produced by Uttung Hitendra Thakur , who produced films like ‘Yellow’ & ‘Balak Palak’ and directed by ‘Poster Boyz’ and ‘Poster Girl’ fame Sameer Patil, the film presents Chunky Pandey in an important character representing a wealthy Arab. This is indicated through the poster of this film released recently. He is shown holding the neck of two Marathi artistes Shivraj Waichal and Rohit Mane. The other lead artistes of this film are, Rutuja Deshmukh, Sameer Chaugule, Hrishikesh Joshi and Varsha Dandale.
Speaking about his debut in Marathi film, Chunky said that being a Mumbaikar he speaks Marathi and respects the language. “I have been watching Marathi films and always wanted to make my debut in Marathi, but was looking for a good script. The story of this film and my character appealed to me and I said ‘Yes'”. Chunky has always appreciated the humour in Marathi films.
What is Subodh Bhave really scared of?
The first poster of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bhaybheet’ was released recently and clearly shows Subodh Bhave in a scared look. What is he scared of ? Is the movie scary ? All these questions come to the mind of Marathi film lovers. But, to answer these questions, the film lovers will have to wait till 28th February next year, when this film will be released.
In the meanwhile, we have come to know that Subodh Bhave plays the lead role in this film ‘Bhaybheet’ which is produced by Shankar Rohra and Deepak Narayani and is directed by Deepak Naidu. The other lead artistes of this film are, Poorva Gokhale, Girija Joshi, Madhu Sharma, Mrunal Jadhav and Yatin karyekar.
