डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकरांच्या जयंतीनिमित कलर्स मराठीवर ‘जलसा महाराष्ट्राचा’
भारतात दरवर्षी १४ एप्रिलला भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांची जयंती मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरी केली जाते. याच दिनाचे औचित्य साधून कलर्स मराठीवरून ‘जलसा महाराष्ट्राचा‘ हा कार्यक्रम येत्या रविवारी १४ एप्रिलला दुपारी १२ वाजता आणि सायंकाळी ७ वाजता कलर्स मराठीवरून प्रसारित होणार आहे. वैचारिक जागर जलसा महाराष्ट्राचा या कार्यक्रमातून बघायला मिळणार आहे. या जलश्यामध्ये आनंद शिंदे, लोकशाहीर संभाजी भगत, विदर्भातील नामवंत गायक अनिरुद्ध वनकर, प्रसिद्ध गायिका वैशाली भैसने माडे, गायक प्रसेनजीत कोसंबी, कडूबाई खरात, कव्वालीचा सामना रंगवणाऱ्या सुषमा देवी, आपल्या गीतांच्या माध्यमातून महापुरुषांच्या वैचारिक क्रांतीची गोष्ट सांगणारे सचिन माळी, शीतल साठे, भीमस्पंदन बँड, धम्मरक्षक बँड, शिंदेशाहीचा आजच्या पिढीचा वारसा जपणारे डॉ. उत्कर्ष शिंदे आदी कलाकारांच्या गायनाची मेजवानी प्रेक्षकांना मिळणार आहे.
याशिवाय प्रायोगिक नाट्य चळवळीत अग्रगण्य असणाऱ्या आविष्कारच्या ‘संगीत बया दार उघड‘ चे काही प्रवेशही सादर होणार आहेत. डॉ. सुषमा देशपांडे यांचं ‘व्हय मी सावित्री‘ आता एका नव्या रुपात प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीस येत आहे. शुभांगी भुजबळ आणि शिल्पा साने या दोघींनी सादर केलेली या नव्या रूपाची झलकसुद्धा प्रेक्षकांना बघायला मिळणार आहे. ‘जलसा महाराष्ट्राचा‘ या कार्यक्रमाचं निवेदन केलं आहे संवेदनशील कवी आणि सामाजिक भान जपणाऱ्या अभिनेता जितेंद्र जोशी याने.
Siddharth Sonalee together in Marathi web series ‘Mantlya Manaat’
Siddharth Chandekar and Sonalee Kulkarni have shot for a web series ‘Manatlya Manaat’ which has been aired on Shemaroome app. The topic of this series is based on arranged marriage and the five meetings of the couple before their marriage. The film goes on to show their actual behavior and also their thought process which goes on simultaneously.
According to the makers, it is a simple story with a different approach to show the feelings of Abhishek and Shivani little before their marriage. Directed by Sandeep Navare and written by Shirish Latkar this web series in Marathi is expected to attract the young viewers. For Siddharth and Sonalee this has been a new experience of the web world.

Mohan Joshi to play a typical Punekar in Marathi film ’66 Sadashiv’
We are all aware of that Lord Ganesha is known as ‘God of Knowledge’ and there is a lot of curiosity among the people to know more about the knowledge and different art forms of this Lord. Based on this theme, Writer- director Yogesh Deshpande launched the poster of his forthcoming Marathi film ‘66 Sadashiv‘ on social media. And this poster has raised a lot of curiosity among the film lovers as it shows a particular book in the hands of actor Mohan Joshi, the title of which reads, ‘How to master the technique of the new art form’.
So, one thing is clear that veteran actor Mohan Joshi will lead the team of artistes in ‘66 Sadashiv‘ film. But, the names of other artistes are yet to be announced. According to the makers the film will present the typical attitude of Punekars through this film. ‘66 Sadashiv‘ will be the first production of Pune Talkies Pvt. Ltd. by producers Hemant Gujarathi, Vinay Vakalkar & Saurabh Chinchankar and music of this film is composed by Narendra Bhide. The film will be released soon all over Maharashtra.
‘Wedding Cha Shinema’ offers quality entertainment

Over the years, we have seen many film makers trying different ideas to entertain the audience with a message. If the film maker is able to keep the audience engaged into his presentation, the film attains success. Latest released Marathi film ‘Wedding Cha Shinema’ presented by Everest Entertainment and directed by debutant writer-director Dr. Saleel Kulkarni has met with all these requirements to offer quality entertainment.
The film‘s subject deals with the new trend of offering a contract to event management company for making a film on the pre-wedding rituals, which also include shooting of romantic scenes of couple and interviews of all those near and dear ones to the couple. Obviously, the Sangeet ceremony is also a part of such a film. We have had the glimpses of it in the past movies like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun‘ in Hindi and ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai-2‘ in Marathi. However, ‘Wedding Cha Shinema‘ presents the coming together of two well to do families from two different regions of Maharashtra with diverse lifestyles.
While the bride Pari (Rucha Inamdar) and her parents( Sunil Barve & Ashwini Kalsekar) belong to Mumbai and are high profile medical practitioners, bridegroom Prakash ( Shivraj Waichal) and his parents( Shivaji Satam & Alka Kubal) belong to rich farmer’s family owning acres of farmlands and a huge Mobile shop in Saswad in Pune district, known for large fruit plantations. Prakash and Pari first meet at Prakash’s mobile shop when Pari after passing her MBBS is posted as an intern in a hospital in Saswad. With subsequent meetings, love happens between them and it is Pari who takes the lead to propose Prakash after noticing his shyness to express his love.
When the families of both agree for their marriage, incomes Urvi( Mukta Barve) the creative director along with her two assistants a DOP (Bhau Kadam) and a choreographer (Tyagraj Khadilkar) to shoot the wedding film on behalf of the event manager Raja (Sunil Abhyankar). During the course of this shooting schedule at Saswad and Mumbai and during their journey Urvi captures some misunderstandings between the couple and she becomes very close to the bride Pari while capturing her emotions.
The entire film’s screenplay has turned entertaining with humour filled scenes and well-written dialogues. Besides the lead couple and above mentioned characters, there are others like Prakash’s elder brother ( Sankarshan Karhade) and his sister in law ( Yogini Pophale), sister ( Prajakta Hanamghar) brother in law from Baramati ( Pranit Kulkarni) and last but not the least his close friend Mac( Pravin Vitthal Tarde) who have filled in energy with their good performances into this film’s entertaining screenplay. Rucha Inamdar has succeeded in portraying the character of Pari with bubbling enthusiasm. In fact, she has perfectly fitted into that role.
The music director turned writer-director Dr. Saleel Kulkarni makes his presence felt through every important scene in this film, especially while showing the confusion and chaos sprinkled with emotional highs and lows in the minds of the couple, amidst preparations for the wedding. Very cleverly he has shown the contrast between the busy Mumbai lifestyle with less communication and the happy and friendly lifestyle of Saswad people. Technically it is a well-presented film with good music, with two nicely picturised songs. All in all ‘Wedding Cha Shinema‘ is certainly a good entertaining film for all.
अभिनेत्री पल्लवी पाटीलचे ग्लॅमरस फोटो शूट
सुंदर अभिनेत्री पल्लवी पाटील हिने ‘क्लासमेटस्‘, ‘शेंटीमेंटल‘, ‘सविता दामोदर परांजपे‘, ‘बॉइज-2‘, ‘तू तिथे असावे‘ अशा मराठी चित्रपटांमधून अभिनय साकारला आहे. अभिनेत्री पल्लवी पाटीलने नुकतेच एक ग्लॅमरस फोटोशूट केले आहे. ह्या फोटोशूटमधून तिचा इंडो-वेस्टर्न लूक तिच्या चाहत्यांसमोर रिविल झाला आहे. ह्या फोटोशूटचे वैशिष्ठ्य म्हणजे, ह्यात घातलेले सर्व कॉस्च्युम्स हे तिने स्वत: डिझाइन केलेले आहेत. आणि ते तिच्या आईच्या साड्यांचे बनलेले आहेत.
पल्लवी पाटील हिने फॅशन डिझाइनिंगचे कोणतेही तंत्रशुध्द प्रशिक्षण घेतलेले नाही. ती पूढे म्हणते, “अवॉर्ड फंक्शन्सच्या रेड कार्पेटवरही मला आता साड्यांचे डिझाइनर ड्रेस घातल्यावर चाहत्यांकडून आणि विशेष म्हणजे फिल्म इंडस्ट्रीतल्या डिझाइनर्सकडून माझ्या ह्या कलेसाठी कॉम्प्लिमेन्ट मिळायला लागल्या आहेत, त्यामूळे तर आता साड्यांचे ड्रेस बनवायची कला जोपासायचा अजून हुरूप आला आहे.”
Three Marathi films lined up for release coming Friday
The year 2019 doesn’t seem to be that good for Marathi films. During the first quarter, very few Marathi films saw audience response in theatres. And ‘Anandi Gopal‘ was one of them. But, after that during the past one month, there has been very low turn out in cinema halls for Marathi films.
Coming Friday, three Marathi films have lined up for release. Everest Entertainment’s multi-starrer ‘Wedding cha Shinema‘ which is a debut film for director Saleel Kulkarni has raised some expectations because of the hype created on social media and also because of the renowned artistes like Mukta Barve, Bhau Kadam, Shivaji Satam, Alka Kubal being part of this film. From the name of the film, it sounds like a comedy film.
With ‘Kahi Kshan Premache‘ Subodh Bhave will begin the year 2019 along with his lead star Bhargavi Chirmule. Written and directed by Dr.Raj Mane, it remains to be seen how this love story of two matured people will be accepted by the audience. Director Milind Patil is also ready with his film ‘H2O‘ for release this Friday with lots of youngsters to create awareness about a social cause highlighting the scarcity of water, which is so relevant today.
Subodh Bhave to begin 2019 with ‘Kahi Kshan Premache’
Last year, after appearing in five films namely, Shubh Lagna Savadhan’, ’Majha Agadbam’, Pushpak Vimaan’, ’Savita Damodar Paranjape’ & ‘Aani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’, popular Marathi actor Subodh Bhave was seen in ongoing Marathi serial ‘Tula Pahate Re’ in the role of Vikram Saranjame. Subodh did receive good response from home viewers, but due to sudden shift towards negativity noticed in his character, many of his admirers openly criticized him stating that he does not suit in that negative type of role.
But now, Subodh will be back on big screen to begin the year 2019 with ‘Kahi Kshan Premache’, which is all set for release on 12th april 2019. Presented by Jyoti Prakash Films, Produced by Harichandra Gupta and written & directed by Dr. Raj Mane this so-called love story stars Subodh along with Bhargavi Chirmule, Viju Khote, Jairaj Nair, Maithili Warang, Dr. Vilas Ujavane, Jyoti Nisal, Dr. Chhaya mane and others. Cinematography by Jitendra Achrekar and music by Ashok Patki are the other credits of this film.
रहस्यमय ‘मिरांडा हाऊस’ १७ एप्रिलला प्रदर्शित
राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कारप्राप्त दिग्दर्शक राजेंद्र तालक, आयरिस प्रॉडक्शन निर्मित,’मिरांडा हाऊस’ हा रहस्यमय चित्रपट घेऊन लवकरच प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येत आहेत. मिलिंद गुणाजी, साईंकित कामत आणि पल्लवी सुभाष यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका असलेला हा चित्रपट मराठी आणि कोकणी भाषेत सर्वत्र प्रदर्शित होणार आहे. चित्रपटाच्या ट्रेलरवरून यात काहीतरी मोठी गुंतागुंत असणार हे नक्की. त्यामुळे अनेक तर्कवितर्कही काढले जात आहेत.
अखेर, ‘मिरांडा हाऊस’चे हे रहस्य येत्या १७ एप्रिल रोजी उलगडणार आहे. इंग्रजी सबटायटलसह हा चित्रपट सर्वत्र प्रदर्शित होणार असून मोठ्या विकेंडचे औचित्य साधून हा चित्रपट दोन दिवस आधीच प्रदर्शित करण्याचे ठरवण्यात आले आहे.
या आधी राजेंद्र तालक यांनी ‘सावली’, ‘सावरिया.कॉम’, ‘अ रेनी डे’ यांसारखे पठडीबाहेरचे चित्रपट मराठी सिनेसृष्टीला दिले आहेत. त्यामुळे या चित्रपटातही प्रेक्षकांना काहीतरी नाविन्यपूर्ण पाहायला मिळेल.
