Song Video ‘Deva Ganaraya’ with Chinmay and Rupali Bhosale released
The most popular Ganapati Festival in Maharashtra is just few days away. So, there is a big demand for songs on Ganapati Bappa. However, this year, due to lockdown restrictions, we haven’t seen new albums released during past few days for this happy occasion. But now we find Suman Entertainment and Media Pvt Ltd presenting a song video produced by Kedar Joshi and directed by Ashish Newalkar.
Swapnil Bandodkar has rendered his voice for this song on the lyrics of Sandeep Malvi and shot on newly wed couple played by popular artistes Chinmay Udgirkar and Rupali Bhosale. Chinar- Mahesh have composed music of this song video. This video shows how the newly wed couple coming for the darshan of Ganaraya in their modern day outfits are soon seen offering their prayers in traditional Maharashtrian attire for this festive occasion.
Madhuri Dixit launches Planet Marathi
The official launch of much talked about Planet Marathi OTT app was held today in presence of Madhuri Dixit in Mumbai. Present on this occasion were Head of Planet Marathi Mr. Akshay Bardapurkar along with Marathi celebrities Amruta Khanvilkar, Tejaswini Pandit, Siddharth jadhav, Sonalee Kulkarni, Prasad Oak, Sachit Patil, Prajakta Mali, Bhargavi Chirmule, Gayatri Datar, Sanjay Jadhav, Sonalee Khare, Sayali Sanjeev, Surbhi Hande, Nikhil Mahajan, Deepti Devi, Bhagyashree Milind, Resham Srivardhankar & Sushant Shelar.
At present Planet Marathi have 40 Marathi films / Web Series to choose from and have decided to offer more films in next three months. In next one year they have planned to offer 24 web series on different subjects, besides other entertaining programmes like talk shows , music videos , concerts and other content. Speaking on this occasion, Madhuri Dixit was all praise for this effort made by Planet Marathi to reach out to Marathi audience scattered all over the world. “ To be part of this big moment is itself a big honour,” she added.

From ‘Yedyanchi Jatra’ to ‘Takatak’ Milind Kavde’s journey for the past few years has been very interesting, while entertaining the Marathi film lovers. Now, Milind Kavde is all set to try his hand at making a mystery blended with comedy through his new film ‘Ek Number’. Motion poster of this film was released on social media recently. Produced by Mahesh Shivaji Dhumal, Jitendra Shivaji Dhumal and Milind Kavde himself under the banner of Dhumal Productions in association with Out of The Box Films, the story, screenplay and direction is by Milind Kavde.
Speaking about his new film Milind Kavde says, “It is essential to have a title for your film which sets out to do justice to the subject you want to handle. Since the title of my film is ‘Ek Number’, the audiences will realise that the title is apt when they watch the film. ‘Usasoon Aalay Man’ Song unveiled
The renowned music company Pickle Music have unveiled the music of the romantic melody ‘Usasoon Aalay Man’, the poster for which was released on the occasion of the Independence Day of our country a few days ago. Sameer Dixit and Rishikesh Bhirangi’s Pickle Music in association with Shashikant Pawar have made this offering with this romantic duet. The highlight of this song produced under the banner of M.A. Productions is that it is an attractive video supported by melodious audio.
The other plus points of the track are the mesmerizing beauty of actress Ashwini Bagal in the attire of a village belle and the new face Rohan Bhosle who has featured opposite her in the song. Though it is the first ever single of Ashwini who has been acting in films till date, it is for the first time that Rohan has faced the camera for this video.
The song which has been picturized at a location has not yet been explored in Satara and hence will lend a fresh experience to all the audience. According to Ashwini, This is the first single in her career. “I am excited to make my debut with a romantic duet with this album. The pure magic of this duet is that it has lyrics which are endearing to not only the youth but also listeners of all age groups coupled with the brilliant composition of the duet. ‘Usasoon Aaley Man’ has been penned and sung by the young lyricist Vaibhav Bhillare and composed by him with Vicky Saxena and is choreographed by Pankaj Chauhan. Editing has been handled by Rishiraj Joshi while Suryakant Ghorpade has cranked the camera. Anup Jagdale has specially assisted in the making of this video.
Trailer of ‘Parees’ released on social media
New web series ‘Parees’ is all set for release on 31st August on Planet Marathi OTT platform. Trailer of this series has been released on social media , which clearly indicates that the subject of this web series is based on superstition and has been shot on the backdrop of a village. The trailer also gives a hit that in search of Gold, the villagers are ready to perform any act based on superstition. The desperation of the characters in this series to achieve their ultimate desire is clearly noticed in this trailer.
The team of Mayur Karambalkar, Kuldeep Dangade and Vishal Sangle are behind the story, screenplay and direction respectively of this series and the series is presented by Planet Marathi and One Cam productions. Cinematography is by Sopan Purandare. According to the makers of this web series, they have tried to create awareness among the people about the damage caused due to belief in such superstitious thinking.

Sayli Kamble makes her debut as a singer through ‘Kolhapur Diaries’
Indian Idol Season 12 finalist Sayli Kamble will be making her debut as singer in Marathi films through Joe Rajan’s film ‘Kolhapur Diaries‘ Highly impressed by her melodious voice film maker Jo Rajan had signed her for his film ‘Kolhapur Diaries’ and has recorded her song on the music of Avadhoot Gupte. Sayli got this opportunity to sing this romantic duet along with popular Marathi singer Swapnil Bandodkar.

Poster of Hruta Durgule’s debut film ‘Ananya’ unveiled
Popular television actress Hruta Durgule is making her debut in Marathi films through forthcoming film ‘Ananya’ written and directed by Pratap Phad. The poster of this film was unveiled recently, which shows Ruta with challenge in her eyes. This film is produced by big names involving Ravi Jadhav, Sanjay Chabriya and Dhruv Das with music provided by Samir Saptiskar.
The film is based on super hit Marathi play written and directed by Pratap Phad and therefore there are big expectations from Hruta Durgule in this title role, for which she has already undergone training before the film’s shooting, which is now complete.
