‘Ambe Maa’ song to release timely for Navratri Festival
Every song has its timing for release to attain popularity. Keeping this mind, Pickle Music have brought a new song for the enthusiastic Marathi song lovers which coincides with the divine arrival of Navratri Festival. This song video is directed by Yogesh Bhosale, who has presented this song which is pictured on Vrushabh Shah and Ankita Raut, two rising artists in the Marathi entertainment world.
Filmed in a scenic and luxurious zone in the Wakad area of Pune, it has been performed by more than a hundred dancers and artists along with Vrushabh and Ankita. The song is written by Murad Tamboli and Shankaram has sung it and composed the music. Chini Chetan, Sagar Bhondwe have choreographed the song.
Speaking about this song director Yogesh feels that this song is a mixture of devotion to Mother Ambe and the joy of the devotees. According to him, apart from fun and entertainment, this song also sets out to generate devotion to the glory and power of Ambe Mata and makes everyone, including the youth, dance joyfully to its tunes.
Prathamesh and Ritika shrotri starrer ‘Darling’ to release on 10th December
Producers Amit Dhupe, Ajay Thakur, V.J. Shalaka and Nikhil Khazindar. Have announced the release date of their forthcoming Marathi film ‘Darling’ as 10th December 2021 all over Maharashtra in theatres. Since the announcement of this film directed by Sameer Asha Patil this film has been the subject of discussion among the Marathi film lovers. Prathamesh Parab, who plays the protagonist with co star Ritika shrotri, who was his co-star in the previous hit film ‘Takatak’. Now, she plays the role of his darling in this film.
In this film, apart from lead artistes Ritika Shrotri, Prathamesh Parab and Nikhil Chavan, actors like Anand Ingale and Mangesh Kadam will be seen in key roles. The music director duo Chinar-Mahesh have composed the music for the film. With Prathamesh and Rithika pair having already become popular through their previous hit, there are big expectations from this film too. Now, with lockdown being soon lifted, there is expected to be good turnout at cinema halls, which would benefit the makers of this film. The film will be distributed by Pickle Entertainment.
‘Free Hit Danka’ to be released on 17th December
After announcement of reopening of cinema halls soon in Maharashtra, Marathi film producers have started announcing the release dates of their films, after waiting for almost 20 months. Recently, makers of ‘Free Hit Danka’ besides releasing the new poster of their film also announced the release date as 17th December 2021. Produced by Aakash Alka Bapu Thombre, Meghnath Gurunath Sorkhade ,Sunil Magare this film is written and directed by Sunil Magare.
Highlight of this film is that renowned artistes from two award winning films namely ‘Fandry’ (Movie review) fame Somnath Avaghade and ‘Sairat’ (movie review) fame Arbaaz Sheikh (Salya) and Tanaji Galgunde (Langadya) will be seen together in this film in lead roles with Apoorva Shelgoankar.
Sanjay Navgire is known for his work on ‘Tattaad‘, ‘Redu’ (movie review) and ‘Maatangi’ has written the dialogues of this film. Music of this film is composed by Baban Adagale and Ashok kamble while Virdhawal Patil has handled the cinematography.
Team of ‘Yedyavani Kartay’ song shoot non stop 36 hours in rains
It is always challenging task to shoot a song during rainy season. Though the theme of the song needs a rainy atmosphere, sometimes the non stop heavy rains spoil the schedule. However, the team of director Abhijit Dani and artistes Shraddha pawar and Neel Chavan on whom ‘Yedyavani Kartay’ song is picturised this song video for non stop 36 hours, inspite of continuous rain. The director very much wanted to shoot in rainy atmosphere to suit the romantic mood and the artistes and entire team worked hard to make it possible.
This Gavran song presented by Nadkhula music has been released now, which is composed by Sanju Rathod and G Spark. Sanju Rathod and Sonali Sonavane have remndered their voices for this song picturised on Shraddha Pawar and Neel Chavan. This song presenting first love was shot in the lush green fields at Igatpuri. Speaking on this occasion, Producers Nikhi Namit and Prashant Nakti said that Nadkhula Music believes in giving an opportunity to new talent and accordingly they gave an opportunity to fresh singer and music director Sanju Rathod from Jalgaon through this music video.
Marathi actress Anuja Sathe steals the show in Hindi Web Series
Last week we had written about a big group of Marathi artistes inviting all the attention in a mega Hindi serial. Now, we have taken notice of one more Marathi actress who had made it big in Hindi Web series. Actually, Hindi web series have given ample scope to many talented Marathi artistes, but to bag a lead and title role is something creditable.
Prominent among the Marathi artistes bagging title role in Hindi web series is Anuja Sathe Gokhale. Anuja plays title role in ‘Ek Thi Begam’. She was already there in Season 1 of this web series, but now, in Season 2 she has much wider scope, playing an angry young woman who is in search of the Don responsible for her husband’s murder. In Season 2 you will see her handling a gun, for which she has taken proper training to present her character more realistically.
This is not the first time, Actress Anuja Sathe has been offered the lead role. Earlier she played the lead character of Dhara Solanki the main protagonist in Hindi serial ‘Tamanna’ , besides playing prominent role of Radhabai in ‘Peshwa bajirao’ serial and ‘Khoob Ladi Mardaani – Jhansi Ki Rani’, where she played a negative role of Jankibai. Marathi artistes grab attention in Hindi Serial ”Punyashlok Ahilyabai’
Over the years many Marathi artistes with their stage background have been able to display their acting skills through popular Hindi serials, thus reaching the viewers worldwide. Some names that come to our mind are Sulbha Deshpande, Ashok Saraf, Bharati Achrekar, Neena Kulkarni, Usha Nadkarni, Reema Lagoo, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Bhargavi Chirmule and many others who grabbed prominent roles in Hindi TV serials, besides also making it big in the Hindi film industry. But, have you noticed majority of Marathi artistes in one Hindi TV serial that too in a big budget period drama ?
We are talking about the ongoing popular Hindi TV serial ‘Punyashlok Ahilyabai’ a biographical period drama on the life of Ahilyabai Holkar the great female Sardar of the Maratha empire in Central India. This historical serial is being aired on Sony Television from Mon to Fri @ 7.30 pm. The serial has already completed 100 episodes successfully, with best screenplay supported by excellent performances by the artistes, majority of whom are from our Marathi stage, television and film industry.
The lead character of Malharrao Holkar is played by Rajesh Shringarpure known for his rich graceful voice in Marathi film industry followed by Aditi Jaltare who played Little Ahilya. And now, the grown up Ahilyabai is played by Aetasha Sansgiri, whom we earlier saw in few Marathi serials for the past three years, including ‘Chhoti Malkin’ in title role and ‘Dakkhancha Raja Jyotiba’ in which she played the key role of Yamai.
Snehalata Vasaikar who was seen playing an important character of Soyarabai in historical Marathi serial ‘Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji’ is now playing the key role of Gautamabai, Mother in law of ‘Ahilyabai’ . You will also notice Sukhada Khandkekar in a prominent role of Dwarkabai. Sukhada has performed earlier on Marathi stage and few Marathi serials besides playing the role of Anubai in popular 2015 Hindi film ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
There are many more Marathi artistes playing important roles in this serial like Varada Patil as Sitabai, Sameer Deshpande as Mankoji Shinde, Sanika Gadgil as Harkubai, Bhagyashree Nahvale as Banabai, Sulakshana Joglekar as Susheelabai, Abhay Harpale as Gangoba and so on. Muhurat of ‘Nibandh’ performed in FilmCity
‘Naal’ fame Shrinivas Pokale will be playing lead role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Nibandh’ which is written and directed by Sanjeev More. Muhurat of this film was performed recently at FilmCity , Goregaon in presence of all artistes and guests Meghraj Raje Bhosale and Anil V Kumar. Along with Shrinivas the film also stars Ajit Devle, Atharva Dewan, Arnav Nagpure, Sayali Dethe, Devendra Ghodke, Siddharth Badve, Prashant Kakkad, Abhay Deshmukh, Vatsala Polkamvar, Shekhar Dondre & K. Atmaram.

बिग बॉस मराठीमधे मीरा जगन्नाथ आणि सुरेखा कुडची समोरासमोर
बिग बॉस मराठीचे तीसरे पर्व सुरु झालेय , प्रत्येक पर्वासारखे ह्या पर्वात नविन काय बघायला मिळणार याची उत्सुकता प्रेक्षकांमधे आहे. पाहिल्याच दिवशी नॉमिनेशन टास्क पार पडला आणि सदस्यांनी त्यांच्या नजरेत कोण टिकाऊ आणि कोण टाकाऊ आहे हे सांगितले. बिग बॉस मराठीच्या घरामध्ये प्रत्येक सदस्याची दर दिवशी वेगवेगळी रूप बघायला मिळतात. कधी कधी जुन्या भेटीगाठी देखील समोर येतात. मीरा जगन्नाथ (Mira Jagannath)आणि सुरेखा कुडची (Surekha Kudachi) यांनी “नकळत सारे घडले” या मालिकेसाठी एकत्र काम केले होते आणि त्याचीच आठवण मीराला घरामध्ये त्यांना बघितल्यावर झाली. मीरा आज त्यांना हेच सांगताना दिसणार आहे.
