‘सुखाच्या सरींनी हे मन बावरे’ मालिकेमधील अनु – सिद्धार्थची केमिस्ट्री पुन्हाएकदा नव्याने प्रेक्षकांना बघायला मिळत आहे. त्यांच निस्वार्थी नात, एकमेकांनमधील विश्वास आणि प्रेम, तसेच एकमेकांच्या मिळालेल्या खंबीर साथीमुळे संकटावर त्यांनी केलेली मात. हे सगळ एकदा पुन्हा अनुभवता येणार आहे नव्या घटनासोबत. अनु – सिद्धार्थच्या आयुष्यात गोड बातमी येता येता राहून गेली. अनुसमोर सत्य आले की ती कधीच आई होऊ शक्त नाही आणि यामध्ये आता अनुच्या मनात पुन्हा मातृत्वाची भावना जागवण्यासाठी सिद्धार्थ प्रयत्न करतो आहे. हे सगळं सुरू असतानाच आता तत्ववादी कुटुंबात अजून एका सदस्याची एंट्री झाली आहे आणि ती म्हणजे सम्राट तत्ववादी. सम्राटची भूमिका संग्राम समेळ साकारत आहे..

भूमिकेविषयी बोलताना संग्राम समेळ म्हणाला, “मला खूप वर्षांपासून मंदार देवस्थळी यांच्यासोबत काम करायची इच्छा होती… त्यांची काम करण्याची पध्दत अप्रतिम आहे. आणि ‘सुखाच्या सरींनी हे मन बावरे’ मालिकेद्वारे ती संधी मिळाली. लॉकडाउननंतर चांगली सुरुवात आहे, चांगल काम करण्याचा प्रयत्न आहे आणि आशा आहे रसिक प्रेक्षकांना ते आवडेल”.

‘Singing Star’ on Sony Marathi from 21st August
Each one of us have one song or the other on our lips. Sony Marathi have picked up such singers who are not professional singers but they love to sing songs. So, from 21st August they have decided to offer a platform to such selected singers, who will try to connect themselves with the audience through their singing performance. Young glamorous actress Ruta Durgule will anchor this show

Prominent personalities like multi talented Prashant Damle, National award winning singer Bela Shende and lyricist and singer Dr. Salil Kulkarni will be the judges for this show. To train these participants some experts from the field of music were engaged and they were paired along with the singer to offer some variety through this show. This will be the first reality singing show of Sony Marathi and therefore they are all set to make it a grand success from 21st August at 9 pm .
‘Zombivli’ directed by Aditya Sarpotdar launched with muhurat

At a time with certain restrictions on shootings of films, Marathi film industry seems to have taken up the challenge. Yoodle Films who are making a film ‘Zombivali’ presented by SaRe Ga Ma is being directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, who had earlier directed successful films like ‘Classmates’, ‘Mauli’ and ‘Faster Fene’. Recently, the muhurat of this film was performed with its first poster launch. ‘Zombivli’ which connects with Dombivali known for its Zombie connection, will be a Zom Com film.

So, the film promises Horror Comedy , which is new to Marathi cinema. Shooting of this film will soon begin at Latur and the film stars Youths like Amey Wagh, Lalit Prabhakar and Vaidehi Parshurami in lead roles. The film be targeted on youth viewers. With Lawrence D’Cunha as DOPthe music will be composed by AV Praful Chandra. Sainath Gunwad, Siddhesh Purkar, Mahesh Iyer, Yogesh Joshi have written the story of this film. The makers of this film plan to release this film next year i.e. 2021.
New Film ‘Phulrani’ inspired by George Bernard Shaw’s ‘Pygmalion’
We are all aware that based on renowned playwright George Bernanrd Shaw’s ‘Pygmilion’ an English musical film ‘My Fair Lady’ was made in 1964. We also saw a Marathi drama ‘Ti Phulrani’ starring Bhakti Barve and Satish Dubhashi in 70s. And now, director Vishwas Joshi will be presenting a film ‘Phulrani’ for Marathi film lovers. Vishwas has written the script along with Guru Thakur for this film which is inspired by ‘Pygmilion’.

Though the names of the star cast hasn’t been revealed, the director is confident that the subject of his film would appeal to Marathi film lovers. The name of the film has been inspired by Famous poet Balkavi’s poem ‘Phulrani’. And this poem will be reconstructed by Nilesh Moharir for this film. Fincraft Media and Entertainment who will be presenting this film propose to start the shooting of this film by end of this year and plan to release the film in 2021. Earlier Vishwas Joshi had presented the films like ‘Natasamrat‘, ‘What’s app Lagna’ and ‘Ghe Double’ which is ready for release.
‘Masuta’ a new Marathi film released on MX Player
During the lock down period MX Player offered variety on Digital platform for Marathi film lovers. Now, their new offering is in the form of ‘Masuta’, which is a new social film based on emotional tangle. Though our country has diversified culture with a strong bonding among each other, there still exists cast politics and orthodox thinking.

Based on this issue the film offers the story of a family which fights for the right of education to all. We do believe in observing all post death rituals, but don’t give importance to those who perform such rituals. Today, the children of such people are denied education in village schools. Even no one from the village wants to marry their daughters. They are not even considered eligible for any offerings under Government schemes.
So, in this film you will find a revolt against the existing practice, by one such father who wants give education to his son. Directed by Ajit Deole, the film stars Nagesh Bhosale, Hridaynath Rane, Anant Jog, Archana Mahadev, Riyaz Mulani, Kanchan Pagare, Vaishali Kendale, Yash Mane and others in lead roles.

‘Life begins at the end of ur comfort zone..’ that’s what Piyush Vibhas Ranade had said on his social networking page few days ago. But, last week he had created a suspense regarding announcement of his new Marathi film’s name. Today at 10 am he raised the curtain by disclosing the name of his next Marathi film as ‘Ajooni’ with a tagline ‘Not Bound by birth or death’. The poster of this film has also been uploaded by him.

Produced and directed by Sakar Raut, whose earlier films were ‘Shivya’ and ‘Sangharshyatra’, this film is supposed to be a film on a different subject. Piyush who has found this important role in the film ‘Ajuni’ is also excited about his character, having earlier played popular characters in Marathi TV serials. Therefore, for him this film is very important. The poster of this film also has to say a lot about the genre of this film. The film is Presented by Arth Studioz and Sara Motion Pictures .
Marathi actor Aashutosh Bhakre commits suicide
At a time when the suicide case of Hindi film actor Sushant Singh Rajput is still in the news over his mysterious death, one more actor Aashutosh Bhakre from Marathi film industry is found dead, allegedly by suicide. He was 32. The police have registered an accidental death case. This unfortunate incident happened yesterday at his Nanded residence, where he was presently staying during this ongoing lock down period. The exact reason of his death is not known, as no note was found at the site. But, it is understood that he was going through depression for the past few days.
Actor Aashutosh Bhakre
Ashutosh was married to actress Mayuri Deshmukh four years ago and has acted in films like ‘Bhakar’, ‘Ichaar Tharla Pakka’. His sudden death has sent shock waves among his friends and well wishers. Interestingly, a month ago Ashutosh had shared a video on his social networking page which was with reference to the subject of suicide . This video received more than 15,000 likes. Many artistes from Marathi film industry in Mumbai were trying to contact his wife Mayuri at Nanded , but could not establish contact with her over phone.
“Lockdown period was for Writing, health and family”- Adinath Kothare
During the lockdown restrictions due to spread of corona virus for the past 3- 4 months, many Marathi celebrities had to stay at home, spending time with their family members and trying to do something of their interest. Marathi Movie World spoke to young film maker and actor Adinath Kothare whose film ‘Paani’ won the best feature film award on environment conservation at the 66th national awards. The film is yet to see its theatre release due to closure of theatres for the past 4 months.

Adinath who is also playing lead role opposite Tejashree Pradhan in Madhuri Dixit’s Marathi film ‘Panchak’ which is being directed by Jayant Jathar is also held up after beginning its shooting in Konkan. At the same time his own web series shooting is also held up for the same reason. So, how did he spent time, while at home? And Adinath quickly responded that he found a lot of time for his writing work. More importantly, he also added that he found a lot of time for his family. And above all, took good care of his health with home cooked food, which according to him was a good diet food. We only wish that things will return to normal and Adinath is back to work to complete his ongoing projects. At the same time we look forward to watch his award winning film and his performance in ‘Paani’.
‘Shravanmasi Harsh Manasi’ launched on social media with a new look

‘Shraavanmaasi Harshamansi’ the popular Marathi poem describing the beautiful nature during the auspicious Month of Shravan was written by Poet Tryambak Bapuji Thombre alias Balkavi, many years ago. But, it is still fresh on the lips of young and old in Maharashtrian families.
Looking at the popularity of the song and coinciding with the holy month of Shravan , Sagarika Music have given a new look to this popular Marathi poem , through a song video in the voice of well known singer Swapnil Bandodkar, who will be seen singing this song on the music of Nilesh Moharir with chorus provided by child artistes from Kalangan.
This song album has now been released on social media . Earlier, Swapnil was associated with Sagarika music offering hit albums of popular Marathi songs. Now, this new song which is so timely with the ongoing month of Shravan spreading the beauty witnessed in the nature, is also expected to be another hit.
Ashish Ningurkar releases his book on Film Production
Ashish Ningurkar who has been associated with Marathi film industry as a writer, lyricist , screenplay writer and actor has released his book on Film Production, suitably titled ‘Te 14 Divas’ with a tagline Sukhad Swapnapoortiche’ on social media recently. Published by Pratibha Prakashan the writer has described his 14 days of hard work which he feels would help all those aspiring film makers to understand the film production. Right from pre production, actual shooting schedule with setting of camera angles , lighting etc. and post production work till release of film , he takes you on a journey of film production.

It may be recalled that Ashish was already completely associated with films like ‘Rairand’ and ‘Ek Hota Pani’ which received international acclaim. He had also translated Sunil Barve’s book ‘Herbarium’. He has written two sets of his poems. Now, through this book he would like to help all those who would like to know how a film is produced and what challenges one has to face in film making process. According to Ashish this book will inspire young aspiring film makers.
