‘Ananya’ poster released on Women’s day
The International Women’s day was considered to be the perfect day for the launch of poster of new Marathi film ‘Ananya’. So, Dhruv Das, Ravi Jadhav and Sanjay Chhabriya Producers of this film officially released the poster of their film on this day. The poster of this film clearly suggests the determination and hard work put in by a young girl while living her life happily in spite of being handicapped.

The tagline of this film ‘Sahkya Aahe, tumhi je tharwal te Shakya aahe’ ( ‘It’s possible, Whatever you decide is possible’) is very well suited to this film, which is written and directed by Pratap Phad. Speaking about her role, the lead actress of this film Hruta Durgule says, “Life is very beautiful. And one should live life to heart’s content. The film will offer you lots of energy with positive thinking.” Producer Ravi Jadhav feels that they picked up the right day to release the poster of their film to honour all brave women. The film will be released on 10th June 2022.
Poster of Hruta Durgule’s debut film ‘Ananya’ unveiled
Popular television actress Hruta Durgule is making her debut in Marathi films through forthcoming film ‘Ananya’ written and directed by Pratap Phad. The poster of this film was unveiled recently, which shows Ruta with challenge in her eyes. This film is produced by big names involving Ravi Jadhav, Sanjay Chabriya and Dhruv Das with music provided by Samir Saptiskar.
The film is based on super hit Marathi play written and directed by Pratap Phad and therefore there are big expectations from Hruta Durgule in this title role, for which she has already undergone training before the film’s shooting, which is now complete. The film is waiting for theatrical release soon. Speaking about her film , Hruta says, “Actually I was eagerly waiting for this film’s release. Now, when we find normalcy returning soon, like my entire team, I am also anxiously waiting for this film to release in theatre.”
‘Singing Star’ on Sony Marathi from 21st August
Each one of us have one song or the other on our lips. Sony Marathi have picked up such singers who are not professional singers but they love to sing songs. So, from 21st August they have decided to offer a platform to such selected singers, who will try to connect themselves with the audience through their singing performance. Young glamorous actress Ruta Durgule will anchor this show
Prominent personalities like multi talented Prashant Damle, National award winning singer Bela Shende and lyricist and singer Dr. Salil Kulkarni will be the judges for this show. To train these participants some experts from the field of music were engaged and they were paired along with the singer to offer some variety through this show. This will be the first reality singing show of Sony Marathi and therefore they are all set to make it a grand success from 21st August at 9 pm .
Brian & Reema keep Marathi celebrities fit and healthy during lockdown
The spread of Corona virus has brought the entire film Industry on a standstill. It’s been a month since the social events and shoots have come to a halt putting the celebrities locked down at their respective homes. This has resulted a lot lethargic and unhealthy feeling among all those who have been active with their busy work
schedule. And our Marathi celebrities are no exception. But there is a sign of relief for several Marathi celebs since the popular fitness instructor duo Brian D’Souza and Reema Vengurlekar are making sure with their virtual fitness classes that their Marathi celebrity clients stay fit and healthier during this lock down
period.
Because of the lock down all gyms and fitness studios are temporarily non functional. But Reema and Brian are taking virtual classes to motivate their students to be fitter during this social distancing time. Reema Vengurlekar, founder of WOD says, “It is very important to keep ourselves fitter mentally and physically in this difficult and testing time. Keeping this in mind, we have started group online classes for our students. In this quarantine time, we have kept these virtual classes open for all.”
Reema added, “Anybody can just contact us and take a few free trial classes in this stressful time. But for our Marathi celebs we have personal virtual training slots. The free times are now productive physically and mentally. With personalize training and diet plans we are solely concentrating on keeping them fit, healthy and
stress free. “
Brian has received a positive response. He concludes ,“We are content that celebrities like Deepti Ketkar, Prajakta Mali, Hruta Durgule, Snehalata, Spruha Joshi and 70 odd other students are positively transforming themselves during the lockdown. It’s been a month now for our virtual classes and these free of cost virtual classes are getting superlative response from fitness enthusiasts.
TV Star Hruta Durgule to play ‘Ananya’ on big screen
Sensational Marathi play ‘Ananyaa’ which received overwhelming response from Marathi stage audience in the recent past, will now be presented on the big screen. The play is still drawing good crowds, with Rutuja Bagwe playing the title role. Now, TV star Hruta Durgule has been selected to play this central role in this new film ‘Ananya’. Incidentally, she will be making her debut in Marathi films through this film. Produced by Dhruv Das and Ravi Jadhav the film is directed by Pratap Fad.
The muhurat of this film was performed in Pune recently, with the beginning of film’s shooting. Though the play on this subject received good response, the makers of this film will take some cinematic liberties to appeal and inspire the film audience. Other artistes of this film are still to be finalised. The film will be released this year only, according to the makers.

‘Phulpakharu’ has offered me a finest opportunity – Hruta Durgule
Today, every lead character of TV serial gets instant popularity. One such character is that of Vaidehi from the ongoing TV serial ‘Phulpakharu‘ on Zee Yuva channel. Hruta Durgule who plays this character was seen in the mega serial ‘Durva‘ on Star Pravah channel. Student of IES VN Sule Guruji English Medium School, Hruta Completed her bachelor’s degree of mass media in advertising from Ramnarain Reuia college.
In an exclusive interview to marathimovieworld, Hruta spoke about herself and her acting career.
Excerpts from the interview:
Q: During your school and college days, were you associated with acting ?
A: “No”, but before entering acting, I had done an acting workshop with Madhur and Prabhul Sir.
Q: Then, how did you get into serials?
A: I had given audition for Producer Nitin Vaidya’s serial ‘Durva‘. Rasika Deodhar was the casting director. Those days, I was doing internship for the serial ‘Pudhcha Paul‘ where being a Mass media student, I had to work as assistant director. After getting selected in ‘Durva‘ I did 1164 episodes and later gave audition for ‘Phulpakharu‘ and got selected here.
Q: We are watching your character of Vaidehi in ‘Phulpakharu‘. But, tell us how is Hruta in real life?
A: Vaidehi is very strong and thinks very practically. But, Hruta is very emotional and is not so strong .
Q: How has been your journey so far, as a television actress?
A: Very nice. And, I am getting very good response. Basically, this is a good opportunity for me. My serial ‘Durva‘ achieved grand success. And, within two months I found this role in ‘Phulpakharu‘. In ‘Durva‘ I played a politician and in ‘Phulpakharu‘ I am playing the character of my age. Therefore, enjoying a lot.
Q: Tell us something about ‘Phulpakharu‘.
A: It’s a love story. The theme is different and suited to modern times. In this serial there are two love stories. One is about young lovers and the other is about a couple, 10 years after their marriage, picturised on artistes Prasad Oak and Purva. My character of Vaidehi is of a college girl, who is very strong and is an atheist. Having lost her mother, her relationship with her father, her grandfather and younger Her maturity level is very high. In short, this serial is a well presented love story, with emotional touch.
Q: Is there anything else, besides love story, in this serial?
A: Yes, there is a major twist in this serial. There is still long time for it. But, at present, I don’t want to reveal anything about it.
Q: What are your hobbies and how you spend your free time?
A: I take interest in dancing, driving , reading and calligraphy. I read English books and very fond of Chetan Bhagat’s stories. Love to watch English and Marathi films. I want to develop my Marathi. Ever since, I got this serial ‘Phulpakharu’ I have taken interest in poems too.
Q: Last but not the least, what is your career goal ?
A: As an actress, I would like to do Drama theatre.
