Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali come face to face in ‘Chandramukhi’

Marathi film ‘Chandramukhi (चंद्रमुखी)’ which is all set for release on 29th April is the topic of discussion among Marathi film lovers, as the promotion of this film has already impressed them. Now, the fresh talk is about the Lavani in this film, which is pictured on Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali, who have come face to face for this musical jugalbandi.

This Lavani has lyrics by Guru Thakur with music composed by Ajay Atul. Singers like Madhura Datar, Priyanka Barve and Vishwajeet Borwankar have rendered their voices for this Lavani with choreography by Deepali Vichare. Speaking about the different forms of Lavanis in this film, director Prasad Oak says, “ We have tried to offer this traditional form of dance in different ways through this film.”

Written by Chinmay Mandlekar and produced by Akshay Bardapurkar, Planet Marathi and Golden Resho films , this film stars Amruta Khanvilkar, Adinath Kothare, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Dr. Mohan Agashe, Rajendra Shisatkar, Sameer Chougule, Ashok Shinde, Neha Dandale, Radha Sagar and others . अंकुश चौधरी आणि प्राजक्तानी घातलाय ‘चायनीज गोंधळ’

अंकुश चौधरी आणि प्राजक्ता माळी ह्यांच्या मुख्य भमिका असलेल्या आगामी ‘लकडाऊन (Luckdown)’ या चित्रपटांतील ‘च्यावम्याव’ हे पहिल गाण नुकतच प्रदर्शित करण्यात आल. चीनच्या एका चुकीमुळे संपूर्ण जगाला त्याचे परिणाम भोगावे लागले आणि भविष्यात अशी चूक पुन्हा होऊ नये म्हणून त्यांना संदेश देणारा असा हा पहिला ‘इंटरनॅशनल गोंधळ’ आहे. आदर्श शिंदे, विश्वजित जोशी आणि मैथिली पानसे जोशी या गायकाच्या सुरांनी हा गोंधळ सजला असून रविंद्र मठाधिकारी याने शब्दात उतरवला असून त्याला अविनाश विश्वजित या जोडीने संगीतबद्ध केलंय.

Mahesh Manjrekar unveils the poster of ‘Luckdown’

Poster of much awaited Marathi film ‘Luckdown (लकडाऊन)’ was recently unveiled by film maker Mahesh Manjrekar on the sets of ‘TV Show ‘Big Boss’, which is hosted by him. On this occasion, the entire team of ‘Luckdown’ was present. Mr. Manjrekar wished them luck. ‘Luckdown’ will be released during the new year on 28th January 2022 all over Maharashtra.

Starring Ankush Chaudhari and Prajakta Mali together for the first time, the poster of this film shows them as husband and wife. The entire shooting of this film was held Junnar at Kille Shivneri during the period of lockdown. Produced by Sharad Sonavane, Darshan Phulpagar, Ajit Sonpataki and Sagar Phulpagar, this film is directed by Santosh Manjrekar. Written by Ravindra Mathadhikari, the music of this film is composed by Avinash- Vishwajeet. Editing by Paresh Manjrekar, Choreography by Phulwa Khamkar and sound recording by Abhijit Deo, are other credits of this film.
‘Luckdown’ to be released on 28th January 2022

It seems that some Marathi film makers have preferred the ‘Wait n Watch’ policy during the month of December and have taken a decision to release their films during the new year 2022. One such film is ‘Luckdown … Be Positive (लकडाऊन)’ and makers of this film Sharad Sonavane, Ajit Sonpaatki and Sagar Fulpagar have announced the release date of their film on 28th January 2022.

Directed by Santosh Manjrekar, this fun filled film based on marriage preparations set on the backdrop of lockdown period, stars Ankush Choudhari and Prajakta Mali in the lead roles. Story of this film is written by Ravindra Mathadhikari and the entire film shooting has taken place at Fort Shivneri, Junnar. Music of this film is composed by Avinash Vishwajeet while Paresh Manjrekar has done the editing. Sound recording is by Abhijaat Deo and choreography is by Phulwa Khamkar.

Prajakta Mali releases her collection of Poems ‘Prajaktaprabha’

As an actress, dancer and anchor Prajakta Mali has already established herself in Marathi film and television industry. Now, she will be seen in a new role as a poet. Granthali have published collection of her poems and the same has been released at the hands of renowned poet and lyricist Praveen Davane. Present on this occasion as guests of honour were Amruta Khanvilkar, Pushkar Shrotri, Abhijit Panse and Akshay Bardapurkar.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Pravin Davane said, “The reason behind Prajakta to turn as a poet is hidden in her collection of poems. You will notice her sensitivity and softness of mind while reading her poems.” He also wished her all the success in her new journey as a poet. Reacting herself Prajakta said, “I was writing these poems not with the intention of posting them on social media or getting them published but was writing for myself. Never expected that it would turn into a collection and get published. So, it is a big surprise for me and I am happy that they found a publisher. “
This collection is of Marathi, English and Hindi poems written in simple language.
Johnny Lever to join ‘Hasyajatra’ on Sunday 18th July

After successfully starting some good TV programmes like ‘Ajunahi Barsat Aahe’ and ‘Kon Honar Karodpati’ this week, Sony Marathi are set to welcome Comedy King of Bollywood Johnny Lever to their Laughter show ‘Ravivaarchi Hasyajatra’ this Sunday 18th July . This programme will be telecast between 8 pm and 10 pm. It will be fun filled entertainment show with skits performed by popular artistes.

Johony Lever who was special invitee for this show, could not resist the temptation of shaking his legs on the dais. Johny was highly impressed watching all those skits and praised all the artistes for their performances. He specially appreciated the character of Lolly played by Namrata and was all praise for her performance.

Marathi stars celebrate Women’s day

Four Marathi stars namely Bhargavi Chirmule, Prajakta Mali, Gayatri Datar and Tejaswini Pandit celebrated Women’s day at the Planet Talent office, which is part of Planet Marathi. After cutting the cake they interacted with the media persons who were invited on this occasion. Each one of them shared their memorable experiences with the important women in their lives, besides participating in the fun games organised on this occasion.
Mr. Akshay Bardapurkar, Mr. Sanjay Jadhav and Mr. Pushkar Shrotri who are part of Planet Marathi platform were also present. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Bardapurkar said that Women’s day need not be celebrated on one particular day, but everyday, He further added that the purpose of organising this function was to encourage and honour the women attached to Planet Marathi platform.

Muhurat of Ankush Chaudhari & Prajakta Mali starrer film ‘Luck Down’

From the third month of this year 2020 we have been witnessing lock down restrictions due to spread of corona virus. And now, the year is coming to an end next month. But soon, we are expecting a change. The Marathi film industry which had come to almost a halt is gearing up slowly with resumption of shooting schedules and reopening of cinema halls. Even the launching of new films are in progress. Recently, Ishnav Media House and producer Darshan Fulpagar launched the muhurat of their film ‘Luck Down’ which is expected to bring a big hope in the coming year, as indicated through its title.
The muhurat was performed in Junnar in presence of the lead pair of the film Ankush Chaudhari and Prajakta Mali, the makers technical staff and the dignitaries comprising of Shri Dada Sonavane, Satyasheel Sherkar, Ganesh Kawde, Shyam Panduye & Yuvraj Mohite. It will be the first time Ankush and Prajakta will be performing together and therefore there are big expectations from them. The film will be directed by Santosh Ramdas Manjrekar, who had earlier directed films like ‘Bedhadak’, ‘Surajya’ and ‘Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy’.
‘Lullaby’ of Chhatrapati Shivaji’s era released on Rajashree Marathi

We are all aware of the importance of ‘lullaby’ during the era of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Those days, all Mothers used to sing ‘lullaby’ for their little babies, to encourage them to be part of the force fighting for self government of Independent India. Do Re – Do productions have produced one such video of ‘lullaby’ to take us all down memory lane into the history. The inspiration has obviously come from the Rajamata Jijaoo and the way she encouraged her son Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to fight for self government.
In this lullaby actress Prajakta Mali plays the inspiring and strict mother , on whom this lullaby has been pictured, while her little son is played by Harak Bharatiya. This period lullaby has been written and directed by Anagha Kakade, while Nupura Niphadkar has rendered this lullaby in her voice, besides composing music. Cinematography is by Ashwin Nambiar while editing is by Vajang Aafale. Costumes are designed by Harshita Atre and Shreya Daflapurkar for this seven and half minute video.
