Double celebration for ‘Jhimma’
Marathi film ‘Jhimma’ which was released on 19th November 2021 is celebrating 75 days successful celebration in theatres. At the same time, the film has also been released on OTT platform and is rated as one of the best entertaining films on Amazon Prime network. This was the only Marathi film which saw the success in theatres, in spite of the restriction of 50% attendance in cinema halls.
What is good about this film is that it has been offered keeping in mind the most important factor of pure entertainment. No wonder, on the 50th day of its theatre run, the film celebrated success in 90 cinema halls. The film has already made box office collection of Rs. 14.50 Crores. Moreover, the film has also inspired many women to plan their trips joining women groups.
Speaking about his film’s success, director Hemant Dhome says, “I am really thankful to the audience for making this film a super hit. During the past two years, we faced a lot of problems but finally we have witnessed the success.”

When the Teaser of the forthcoming Marathi film was released, it received very good response on social media. Now, the title song of this film ‘Khelu Jhimma Ga…’ released on social media is also well received. This song has been pictured on a group of women from different age groups and different fields come together for their enjoyment during their tour to England. The song reminds all those women about their friendship and picnic days.
The song has been rendered by singers Vaishali Samant, Mugdha Karhade, Aarti Kelkar and Suhas Joshi on the music of Amitraj. Teaser of Hemant Dhome directed Marathi film Jhimma‘s was released on International women’s day, indicating that the film was ready for release soon. However, due to lockdown restrictions, this film could not be released till date. Now, there is an official announcement from the makers of this film that ‘Jhimma’ will be released in theatres on 19th November 2021. This will also be the first Marathi film to be released in theatres after reopening of theatres post lockdown.

Presented by Chalchitra Company , produced by Amey Vinod Khopkar and Crazy Few Films and written by Iravati karnik, this film stars Nirmiti Sawant, Suhas Joshi, Suchitra Bandekar, Kshiti Jog, Sonalee, Sayali Sanjeev, Mrinmayee Godbole along with Siddharth Chandekar. Music by Amitraj and cinematography by sanjay Memane are the other credits of this film.

There was already talk about Hemant Dhome directed film ‘Jhimma’ during the period of lockdown. And now, with normalcy returning soon, the makers of this film Amey Vinod Khopkar Entertainment and Crazy Few Films have announced the release date of their film on 23rd April 2021. Irawati Karnik has written the story of this film with music provided by Amitraj and cinematography by Sanjay Memane.
‘Jhimma’ is produced by Kshiti Jog, Ajinkya Dhamal, Viraj Gavas,Urfi Kazmi, Anupam Mishra and Swati Khopkar and stars Sonalee Kulkarni, Kshiti Jog, Suhas Joshi, Siddharth Chandekar, Mrunmayee Godbole, Suchitra bandekar, Sayali Sanjeev and Nirmiti Sawant in lead roles. The poster of this film has a tagline ‘Navya Varshaat Khelu Anandacha Khel’; which clearly indicates that it will be a multi starrer family entertainer. कलर्स मराठीवरील शुभमंगल ऑनलाईन मालिका सुरू होण्याआधी बरीच चर्चेत होती. मालिकेचा विषय खूपच वेगळा, सुयश – सायलीची जोडी देखील पहिल्यांदाच प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीस होणार होती, सुकन्या कुलकर्णी मोने या देखील कलर्स मराठीवर परतणार होत्या.

‘बस्ता’ २९ जानेवारीला झीप्लेक्स वर प्रदर्शित
लग्न म्हटलं, की बस्त्याची खरेदी स्वाभाविकपणे येते. बस्त्याची खरेदी ही एक गंमतीशीर गोष्ट असते. श्री गणेश मार्केटिंग अँड फिल्मस् प्रस्तुत, सुनील फडतरे आणि वर्षा मुकेश पाटील यांनी ‘बस्ता’ चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली आहे. तानाजी घाडगे चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शक आहेत. अरविंद जगताप यांनी चित्रपटाचं लेखन केलं आहे. मंगेश कांगणे आणि शंकर पवार यांनी गीतलेखन, संतोष मुळेकर यांनी संगीत दिग्दर्शन केलं आहे. चित्रपटात सायली संजीव, अक्षय टांकसाळे, पार्थ भालेराव, सुरज पवार, अरबाज शेख, पल्लवी पाटील अशी उत्तम स्टारकास्ट आहे.
मुंडावळ्या बांधलेली, चेहऱ्यावर आनंद असलेली सायली संजीव या पोस्टरवर दिसत आहे. अतिशय लक्षवेधी असं हे पोस्टर आहे. त्यामुळेच हा चित्रपट नक्कीच मनोरंजक आणि वेगळी गोष्ट सांगणारा असेल यात शंका नाही. हा रंगतदार ‘बस्ता’ चित्रपटाच्या माध्यमातून २९ जानेवारीला प्रेक्षकांसमोर येत आहे. या चित्रपटाचं पोस्टर नुकतंच सोशल मीडियाद्वारे लाँच करण्यात आलं.
‘Manmauji’ promises romantic journey with talented trio
After experiencing the dark days due to corona pandemic, we are now ready to witness ‘Sunshine after tears’. Many Marathi film makers have already made announcements of their films, while some of them have even announced the release dates during new year. Golden Gate Motion Pictures, known for backing interesting films like ‘Gulabjaam’ (watch trailer) and ‘Lost & Found’ , have announced their next Marathi film ‘Manmauji’, which has created a buzz on social media.
The film will present the talented trio comprising of Bhushan Patil, Sayali Sanjeev and newcomer Ria Nalawade . The film is produced by Vinod Malgewar and directed by Sheetal Shetty.
